Replacement Ribs
21. Mother's Request

Kirana looked towards the door. Found Tristan who now wears a glove that covers his shorts earlier. His face looks cleaner typical of people who have just washed their face with hair that is still moist. Handsome, that word is Tristan's facial expression. Jaws are firm, skin is clean. Highlight the eyes as sharp as an eagle in harmony with a sharp nose Hair straight black dark as well as his eyebrows. Her lips were reddish even though she occasionally smoked tobacco.

Kirana still remembers seeing Tristan when he drove Mentari to school. It was also from behind the window. Arrogance may have been inherent in the man long ago. He never got out of the car while driving Mentari. Always let Mentari be picked up by his teacher once he got out of the car. Not even greeting the teacher. Kiran was ilfill when Mentari slaah wore a uniform and he reminded Tristan but was only ignored by the man who now became his roommate.

"Where are you from, Mas?" tanyanya as Tristan settles down beside her

"So I was invited to the mosque."

Kirana also rounded her lips. He knew that his father would not allow adult men to stay at home during prayer times.

Tristan threw himself on the bed. His body feels very tired. Also drowsiness that can no longer be held. Kirana's voice forbade her to sleep after Maghrib's time made her re-open her eyes.

Kirana left the room after ordering Tristan to dinner.

The man went up and followed Kirana to the dining table. Where two of their parents were already sitting. Tristan felt bad for making them wait. When she went into the room, Ambar told her to have dinner. But fatigue and drowsiness made him nod without intending to obey his mother-in-law's words.

Happiness radiated on the faces of both Kirana's parents. Especially the mother. Dream daughter-in-law as if no longer a man who had been praised. Tristan had shifted it in an instant until now he was the one who occupied it.

Ms. Ambar offers her own cooked food. Almost a table full of food. I don't know who will spend it later. Kirana was amazed by her mother who cooked so much food. And her mother only answered to entertain her daughter-in-law.

"Nobody Tristan. Let's try mom's cooking!" said Ambar Ma'am. The woman's attitude when Tristan came earlier had changed into friendly and warm.

Tristan took the plate and took the rice. Not for himself, but for his wife.

"Darling, what do you want to eat?"

Kirana was flabbergasted and turned to Tristan. Then it turned to his two parents who were currently staring at him while holding a smile.

"I take it myself, Mas," replied Kirana taking the plate.

"It's not good to refuse the husband's attention, Na."

His mother's words made Kirana take the rice. He asked Tristan to get him a vegetable and a piece of fried chicken.

"Thank you" she replied with a nod of her head plus a sweet smile from her husband.

Kirana glanced back at her parents. He grunts. They don't know what Tristan is asking for tonight, so they're paying too much attention to Kirana. Or maybe Tristan is trying to take his parents' heart if he has treated their daughter well.

Tristan is good at taking her mother-in-law's heart. Time and again he praised Bu Ambar's cooking between meals. The middle-aged woman could not be separated from the smile. Kirana grew tired of hearing Tristan's praise for her mother.

"Calci! The kasmaran." Kirana who was washing dishes teased her mother.

"Aren't you the one who got the attention of the husband?" reply Bu Ratih.

"Mom don't know if she's looking in the same face as in-laws."

"Hus! Ngawur. I know he's sincere."

Kirana smiled faintly at her mother. He had to give a thumbs up for Tristan's skill to take someone's heart. Including his mother who now sounded praising about Tristan. Starting from asking about the daily life of his daughter-in-law to the work that Kirana herself does not know for sure. All he knows is that Tristan manages his papal legacy.

"So when are you going to give your mom and dad cute grandchildren?"

Kirana also gave a rough sigh. Classic questions parents will ask their married child. Not only her mother, but that hope also seemed to be what her mother-in-law was waiting for. Although not said directly, Mentari's words sourced from Bu Ratih are enough to prove it.

"Mother is old. Mumpung still strong holding."

Reason that makes no sense. Had Kirana had children later, she would not have let her mother take care of grandchildren.

"What age is your mother? Fifty as well. Not too old."

"But soon, yes." A compelling-sounding request. Ambar begins to compare Kirana to the achievements of the neighboring children who have managed to give their parents grandchildren. Kirana just sighed in response to her mother.

He finally chose to return to the room rather than having to hear the expression of the mother's heart which is now levelling up for a grandson. Not one, but many, because the word funny of course means more than one. So that the house is no longer empty. After decades there were no cries and squeals of children.

The creaking of the door rang out as Kirana was folding her face. Tristan's sweet smile that she got when she turned her head. Still with the same clothes and holster that his mother probably gave him. As far as Kirana knew, her husband had never worn such a cloth. And for some reason, Kirana likes the appearance of Tristan when wearing a sarong even though the top is combined with a t shirt.

Kirana took a change of clothes from the closet. The husband's orders are the things to obey. While not a possibility. That lacy red cloth he looked at for quite a while. Until finally******** plan passes. Kirana wrapped the cloth in a white kimono and went into the bathroom.

He was in that room long enough. Convince himself that he'll take it off tonight. Kirana cleaned herself as necessary before wearing the red night service clothes. Then wrap it in satin kimono pajamas.

Nervous, the sense came back ambushing as he opened the bathroom door. But only for a moment it changed with a sigh of relief when he saw Tristan already lying soundly on the bed.

Kirana took the other side of the bed. Laying down next to Tristan though not for sleep. Just want to rest the body after a day he was busy with the event launching new products.

Waiting for her drowsiness to come, Kirana opens her phone to see the response from her social media account followers about her new product. But his body froze instantly as an arm suddenly wrapped around his waist.

"Ready?" the whisper was like a spell that made Kirana put the device down and then turn her body.
