Replacement Ribs
38. Don't Split

"Mas, you don't want to go back to Jakarta?" asked Kirana one morning after getting a video call from Mentari.Tristan had indeed been in the village for quite a long time. It's been over two weeks. And Tristan's daily activities take her every day and accompany her until her time home.

"Mama sent a message. Mentari asked when you came home," he continued.

"Me or us?" Tristan's question made Kirana speechless.

"I won't go home without taking you" Tristan said.

"I still have to wait for Stifa to finish her leave. After that I'll decide."

"Then I will wait. How long is your friend on leave?"

"One month. Too long if Mas had to wait for Syifa to come to work. I've been out of work too long."

"You don't have to think about my job. That's my business."

Kirana finished her conversation. He knew the end would never be finished. Tristan will stick with the reason no matter how hard he asks her to come home first.

After all, Tristan's near existence had helped him a lot. She got a lot of business knowledge from her husband. Tristan painstakingly gave her directions. In between the busyness of the man doing his own work. Because of course Tristan knowledge is much more qualified than Kirana whose educational background is psychology.

One thing Kirana discovered from Tristan, the man wasn't as rigid as their early days were tied up in a marriage relationship. Lately, the other side of her husband is unfolding little by little. Often act sweet even though sometimes unwarranted jealousy sparks debate. Especially if it is already mentioned about Baraka. Although it is clear the status of Baraka is now Syifa's husband.

"Ouch!" Kirana patted the eel as she remembered something she had forgotten to carry.

"Why?"

"Some one missed. Exhibition event proposal. Where urgent..Today it must be disbursed."

"I'll get you. Where are you keeping it?"

"On table. The red map has a label for the event proposal."

Tristan snatched the keys to the car lying on the desk. Then hurry back home to retrieve the files left behind.

Rows of maps lined up neatly on the table inside Kirana's room. Red is not just one. It can even be said that red dominates. Tristan examines each label attached.

The focus is precisely on a green map that reads PA File with very small writing. Although it has been missed, but the label in the map is so curious that Tristan pulled the map green color.

His heartbeat raced dozens of times faster when he opened the map. Researching one by one neatly arranged files. His legs no longer held his weight. Tristan sat down on the chair.

Kirana has everything ready. Tristan still thinks the divorce request is just a bluff. Kareena Kirana still wants to take it very well. But looking at the contents of the map he held, it turned out that Kirana was not messing with his words. His wife has prepared all the files to do a complete divorce suit. Thousands of questions filled Tristan's head. Maybe they are all just waiting for time?

The vibration of the mobile phone in the pocket of the pants made him gasp. Kirana calls him so he can drop off the files he hasn't even found yet. Tristan returned the map he had in his hand to its original place. Searching once again for the red map that Kirana asked for but she did not find it.

"Try to remember where you kept it. I've checked everything" he said by phone call.

"There must be, Mom."

Tristan even recorded the map to prove it.

He let out a rough sigh when he found the red map he was looking for lying on the nightstand. Perhaps Kirana is too much of a burden on the mind and becomes easily forgetful.

"Non't see you, Mum?" kirana asked with a resigned face to see Tristan coming empty-handed

"Where was the last time you put it?"

Kirana shakes. Last night he checked the proposal before it was signed. But he must prioritize his obligations as a wife when the husband is asking for his rights. As a result, he simply put the proposal down.

"Try searching under pillows or in drawers."

"Capek has to go back and forth" Tristan replied as he placed his butt on the rattan chair.

"Oh, yes, I have. Here's the key let me take it myself." Kirana raised her hand asking for the key.

But not the key he received, but the red map that Tristan hid behind his clothes. Kirana twists lazy eyeballs because of her husband's messiness.

"You're deliberately freaking me out?!" kirana was upset.

"It's not you who's panicking but me."

Grep's!

Tristan pulled Kirana to the point of hitting her body. The man's arm held his wife so tightly that Kirana felt tight and asked to be released.

"Until any time, I won't let go of you, Kirana."

"But my stomach is tight, Mas. What's the matter, anyway?"

Tristan loosened his arms. Remembering Kirana's stomach which was already getting bigger. Even counted big for pregnancy at the age of 3 months.

"Mas, why are you, anyway. I want to work this. If you keep this up I can't work," Kirana said slowly because Tristan hasn't let go yet.

"You shouldn't have to work. Let me just."

"That's impossible, Mommy."

"I know. You think too much of other people until you forget to think of my feelings."

Kiraa. Looked at Tristan's face that looked sad.

"What do you mean, Mom?" ask Kirana not understand.

Tristan framed Kirana's face with both palms. Staring at the round eyeball belonging to his wife who showed a look of confusion.

"Tell me, Kirana. What should I do for you to truly forgive me and accept me sincerely. My law as you please. But please stop your desire to untie this, Kirana. I can't afford to be far away from you." Tristan brought Kirana back into his arms.

Kirana increasingly did not understand the attitude of her husband. Because without being asked, sorry and sincerity that he has given with all his heart. And parting, Kirana had already rethought her intentions after the seed had now grown into a fetus in her womb. Not least he met the children of the victims of the parent relationship rift. Some grow normally without a lack of affection, others grow into children who need more attention because of the lack of balanced affection from both parents.

"Mas, we've committed to starting everything from scratch. What we have passed in the previous time, each of us has promised to keep it and close the meeting. Are you still in doubt about the commitment we made? Which part do I need to fix so as not to make our steps falter?" kirana after Tristan let go

"About farewell? It will only be a discourse forever" he added as he stepped back to his desk.
