Humiliation Maysha

What Laura hoped for was truly accomplished. Because right now Maysha just parked her car in the yard.

Actually today Maysha really doesn't want to see her husband hanging out with other women. He won't be able to. However, the message Arlan whispered before heading out of town to keep believing in him gave Maysha a bit of strength. So I decided to attend the wedding. Although previously the father, mother and sisters had warned not to come.

Maysha entered the house along with several other guests. Mami Gina is walking to lead Laura to a special room that has been provided for a marriage contract. Both look great.

Maysha's view goes around every corner of the house. Among the crowd, Arlan was nowhere to be seen.

“Still dare to come also you to this house,” Mami Gina scolded when Maysha approached them.

“I'm here to pray and congratulate Mas Arlan on his wedding.” Maysha did not respond to the spicy tongue of the in-laws. He gave a paper bag patterned batik containing wedding gifts to Laura. "Congratulations to you and Mas Arlan."

“Thank you, Ma'am Maysha. But there's really no need to bother. I don't need any more gifts, because today is the greatest gift of my life.” Laura commented a triumphant smile. He threw Maysha's gift into another pile of gifts.

“Oh yes, Maysha, you came here not to mess up my son's wedding, right?”

Maysha looked at the in-law. “Means what says like that?” 

"No meaning whatsoever. I just want to remind you that Laura's position will now be Arlan's legal wife. And now Laura's pregnant with our family heir."

"Mi, I have absolutely no such intention."

“Alah, don't be your plain ass! I know what kind of woman you are and your real mother is. You two are just as evil!” Mami Gina's voice sounded loud. Making some of the guests already in the room focus on them. Especially Maysha. The room that had been boisterous by the voices of the guests was instantly silent. Occasionally only a whispering voice is heard.

Mami Gina stared hatefully. This was the right moment for him to destroy Maysha by humiliating her in public. Moreover, he knew very well the location of Maysha's weakness.

"Mommy, please hold back the emotion. At least until the show's over."

Everyone there looked surprised. Nobody makes a sound.

"Today let everyone know who you really are. Arlan has made a terrible mistake in marrying the son of a murderer." Mami Gina pointed at Maysha full of anger. Then glanced at all the guests who were looking towards them. "Listen to everyone, this Maysha is the son of Ayra Maeva. The bad woman who accidentally burned our restaurant and Arlan's papa became a victim. That's why I never approved of their marriage. It's just that this woman is too smart. Act plain until Arlan is blinded in love and gives up all his possessions for him!” 

Maysha took a deep breath. His heart felt crumpled upon hearing those painful lines of words. Maysha's one weakness that keeps her from dealing with Mami Gina is the harsh fact that her own mother committed the crime of setting fire to the restaurant, which eventually led to her death. 

"Why are you crying? You feel guilty? Or ashamed of your mother's crimes exposed in public?" mami Cecar.

Laura who was standing next to Mami held a smile. He had been waiting for a time like this for a long time. The moment where he can defeat Maysha and embarrass her in public. "Already, Mi. Don't waste energy. What matters now is that Mas Arlan already knows everything."

"You're right, honey. Arlan has chosen the wrong woman. Thank goodness now he had realized which one was more worth defending."

The atmosphere was again boisterous by the whispers of the guests. Some even look down on Maysha.

While Maysha no longer dare to just defend herself or fight. His little heart had hoped that Arlan would come and protect him from his mother like before. Before losing his memory, Arlan was extremely possessive and kept it like a precious jewel. Arlan won't give any room for mom or anyone to hurt her.

But now all hope is empty. Because Arlan who now has forgotten him and will marry another woman.

"Wait for what else you are! Now get out of this house. Remember yes, after today I will ask Arlan to divorce you!"

Maysha's heart is broken. He surrendered. The defense he had been building collapsed instantly. He was still sobbing when he suddenly felt the figure of a hand pull his body and clenched very tightly.
