Laura could hardly believe hearing that hurtful phrase just pop out of Arlan's mouth. Arlan almost never snapped at him. She always followed Laura's wishes and rarely denied them. It created a puddle of clear fluid on both Laura's eyeballs. 

“What do you mean, Mas?” laura asked to be sure. 

“However you bestow your own mistakes on others. Though you know very well not Maysha who put chili powder into your food!” Arlan's gaze drew sharp, angering Laura's heart further.

“Oh, so Ma'am Maysha has already managed to poison your mind? Tell me how he slandered me until you believe this!” 

Arlan exhaled a rough breath. As much as possible he held the anger so as not to drop his hand on the cheek of the woman in front of him. 

“You want to know how Maysha convinced me? Just look at this!” Arlan handed her cell phone to Laura's hand violently.

Laura stares at the impressions on the phone screen. Spontaneous only his face that was red from anger was turning pale instantly. CCTV footage on Arlan's cell phone shows him sneaking into the dining room and adding something to the food. 

“Now you have an explanation for this CCTV footage?” cecar Arlan's.

Laura's body stiffened. His head was down with his face getting pale. His tongue that was so loud cursing suddenly felt stiff. 

How could he not be aware of any surveillance cameras in the house? Though he thought that this way was enough to get rid of Maysha. His high confidence like the Burj khalifa building was suddenly collapsed by shame. 

“Jawab!” arlan's clasping echoed in the air, making Laura's body flinch. The woman's mind was drifting in search of a way to avoid this situation. 

“Ma-Mas, I can explain about that. I—” Laura's voice sounded trembling. He didn't even dare to raise his head and look at Arlan. Especially after seeing the anger that is so real in every word that is said from the lips of the man. 

“You know, Laura. I've been yelling at Maysha twice for something she didn't do. Yesterday you accused him of giving you a drink that made you sick to your stomach, and today you have the heart to accuse him of putting chili powder into your food. What exactly is your intention and purpose for doing all this?!” 

The more trembling Laura's body was made. If this does not end immediately, it could be him who will lose and be expelled. While Maysha will have Arlan alone.

Nah! Laura would never be willing if that happened.

“I did all this because I felt you would leave me if you remembered your past!” scream Laura with tears. 

"Just because of that?" Arlan clucked in annoyance while shaking his head in disbelief. "It's your behavior that makes me unable to stand it!"

"You're the same with me, Mom! Remember, I'm pregnant with your child!"

Without many words, Laura pushed down Arlan's chest. Then ran out of the room to the balcony. There he climbed up and just held on to the guardrail. Arlan who followed from behind was quite surprised by the reckless action of the woman. 

“What are you doing, Laura!” shouted Arlan. 

The commotion shocked the entire house. Maysha was about to leave for the hospital where she was working when she heard Laura scream from the balcony. Bik Wiwin and Yanti also came from downstairs. Both looked confused.

“What is it, Non?” ask Bik Wiwin. 

“I don't know either, Bik.” 

They flocked to the balcony. If Bik Wiwin and Yanti are very surprised to see Laura is trying to kill herself, then it is different from Maysha who actually looks relaxed. The woman just stared expressionlessly. It was as if Laura thought she was just a child who was sulking asking for candy.

There Arlan is having a hard time persuading Laura. 

“Laura, please come down! This is not a good way to solve the problem.” 

“No, Mas! I don't want to go down!” pekik Laura is getting crazy. He glanced at Maysha who had just come from inside the house. 

“This action of yours not only harms you, but also the child in your womb, Laura!” 

“I don't care!” 

“Do not act crazy!” sambar Arlan's. 

“I'm like this because you prefer Ma'am Maysha and kick me out of here. Think, Mom, what's more Maysha than me? I'm much prettier, attractive and younger!” 

Arlan glanced at Maysha who was standing not far from him.

“I can't choose any of you. It's also hard for me, Laura.” Arlan softened the sound. 

“But I want you to choose one among us!” Laura let go of one of her handrails, which made Bik Wiwin and Yanti scream in fear. 

While Arlan is still glued to the spot and doesn't know what to do. He knows what Laura is. He could've jumped if Arlan got a little misstep. 

Still with a calm demeanor, Maysha looked at her husband. Then looked at Laura who was still hanging her body on the balcony. 

“If you want to kill yourself please jump. Poor Mas Arlan has a stupid and selfish wife like you.” 

Maysha's words made Laura's pair of eyes glare in wrath.
