The girl took out a few sheets of tissue and carefully cleaned the table. Her long hair pigtails swayed with her every move, as if trying to tempt Raymond.
"It's true he is!"
Raymond's cold black eyes flickered, and he stood still as if he were a stone in place.
Raymond's glasses were covered in dew because of the kitchen's steam and made him unable to see. He decided to take off his glasses and slowly approached the small window.
Suddenly, a bald head with its veins sticking out appeared in his line of sight.
"Abakul noodles mixed with rice, did you hear that?"
Raymond finally regained his senses and returned to the stove blankly. He cooked the noodles in a pot and stirred them with long chopsticks.
Boiling water in a pot.
Raymond's chaotic thoughts slowly regained their composure, and suddenly recalled the girl's words upon seeing the noodles in the pot.
"If it's not wrong he said he wanted to add a clipped egg, right?" thought Raymond.
Granted, the eggs in this stall are already sold out, but there is a grocery store on the street next door that is supposed to sell fresh eggs.
If he could run there and return quickly, perhaps he could still cook the eggs in time.
With that plan in mind, Raymond, who was still using his apron, opened the back door of the kitchen and braved the dark night.
The night breeze rippled, blowing Raymond's hair. He felt as if his heart was flying into the sky, walking on a light and gentle cloud.
He ran fast, came to the store, bought eggs, then went straight back to the kitchen in no time.
Even the grocery store cashier didn't realize he was gone.
The noodles in the pot have been perfectly cooked. Raymond placed the freshly fried egg on the noodles and rang the bell.
"Hey, we still have eggs? You just fried an egg, right?" The boy bowed in front of the small window with a puzzled expression.
Raymond smiled and nodded.
The stall was filled with the appetizing aroma of his mixed noodles.
"Thank you." Emily took out a pair of chopsticks from the table and noticed that there was a fried egg in her bowl. He asked puzzledly, "Loh, isn't the egg finished?"
The boy smiled shyly, "Suddenly there, so I immediately fried."
Usually, the fried eggs in the noodle stall have been cooked first and placed there, and they will immediately serve it when someone orders it.
Emily stirred the noodles in her bowl and smiled, saying, "Oh that's it, thank you, chef."
His fingers were trembling a little.
The white mist that crept around seemed to turn into warm feathers that stroked his cheeks repeatedly.
That tickling sensation carried warmth, as if piercing through his heart and making him tremble involuntarily.
Emily was the only customer in the shop. Raymond stood still until he finished paying, picked up his backpack, and walked out of the stall. Then he woke up as if he had woken up from a beautiful dream.

Vienna has a significant temperature difference between day and night. Only at night does the city feel cold.
In the dark night, Raymond lay on the bed, looking at the ceiling aimlessly, his mind filled with the girl's smiling face.
A cold wind infiltrated through the window slit, bringing mild coolness to his small, narrow room.
However, Raymond felt as if a fire had ignited in his heart, making his body feel a warm sensation.
After secretly admiring Emily for a year, two months, and three days, she was finally able to speak directly without difficulty, despite only two short words.
The first time she saw Emily was at a freshman reception celebration in her freshman year of High School. He sat behind his high piano, slightly lowered his head, and melodious music flowed gracefully from the tips of his fingers.
He seemed to shine to himself, attracting the attention of everyone as long as he sat quietly.
Raymond stood among the crowd, feeling that he was like the moon on a dark night, beautiful but unattainable.
They came from two different worlds, fate separating them with a difference of fate.
But he couldn't stop seeing it. He heard from others that he was a music genius with outstanding academic scores. In less than a month since starting school, many boys have expressed their feelings for her.
Raymond often saw the shadow of Emily's body in the corridor. The girl was always surrounded by admirers, like stars circling the moon. He hid in the darkness, not daring to say a word to her.
Because he stutters.
The stuttering he suffered was not from birth. Before Junior High, even though he was quiet, he was still able to communicate smoothly with others. One afternoon, the hallway was decorated with the aroma of food. Raymond, who had just returned home from school, stood in front of his house and smelled a strong smell of blood.
He opened the door and saw his parents lying in a pool of blood. They no longer breathe.
Fear struck him; his limbs trembled, his mind was empty, and even breathing became difficult. The police arrived before the neighbors realized something bad was going on.
The criminals were immediately arrested. Unfortunately, before being caught, they met Raymond's parents and in the ensuing showdown, the brand accidentally killed Raymond's parents.
Raymond, witnessing the gruesome scene, was emotionally wounded, unable to utter a word for nearly half a month.
It was only when his uncle, who was far away and not too close to him, decided to take care of him that he could speak, even though his sentence was broken.
Raymond was aware that his psychological trauma caused his speech disorder. He decided to be alone, avoiding conversations with anyone.
In the past, he was the best student in the previous school. However, his grades were poor, even though he managed to graduate and enter Vienna Lantern High School. Still, he could not join the prestigious class.
When starting out at a new school, during his first self-introduction, his speech problems become more severe.
He was always laughed at by his friends and finally felt a deep sense of despair.
His new classmates shunned him because he had trouble speaking, booing and making fun of his speech behind his back.
During group assignments, the students fidget and rush to hear him speak, even sometimes telling him to be quiet to save time.
At the noodle shop where he worked, he was placed in the kitchen, a place where he did not need to talk, to save the rush hour of the store.
Raymond felt trapped at the bottom of the abyss, without any light from above, wandering like a lost soul.
He yearned and envied the light that shone from far away.
Never could he have imagined that one day the light appeared in Emily's figure and pierced through the dark cloud layers and illuminated the silent abyss for her.
Gazing at the bright full moon in the sky, Raymond felt a happiness he had never felt before.
