Reincarnation of Love: Being the Guardian Angel of My Stuttering Husband

Reincarnation of Love: Being the Guardian Angel of My Stuttering Husband
Episode 3

The breakfast Aunt Hevi made was as delicious as ever.

After finishing breakfast, Emily picked up her backpack and left the house.

Vienna Lantern High School, where she attended school, is the city's elite high school. Those who can get into this school are only talented people, either academically outstanding or have other very special talents.

And it just so happens that Emily has both.

He has talent in music and is practicing. He began playing the piano at the age of four and received praise from almost every teacher who taught him.

Since childhood, she has won many gold medals in piano competitions in almost every age group, from pre-school groups, children, to teenagers.

Life seemed so easy to him.

Coming from an affluent background, attractive appearance, and excellent academic grades, everyone loved it, all that Emily got in her life.

However, everything changed during her last year of school. Her brother died in a plane crash while on a business trip. No passengers survived the crash. Her parents, worried that there was no heir to the family business and demanded that Emily leave her music education and start studying business.

Emily looked at her parents who suddenly looked fragile and aging, and could only nod their heads in agreement.

She felt as if she had lost her soul and become a puppet following her parents' wishes: studying, graduating, getting married, and inheriting the family business.

Finally, it all ended tragically.

She felt a lot of regret: the death of her brother, an unrealized dream, and most importantly—

Raymond's Death.

Emily was convinced that in her previous life, she owed no one. The only debt he owes is to Raymond, who lost his life while trying to save him.

Therefore, this time he was determined to correct his mistake no matter what.

November in Vienna is not so cold. The morning breeze brings a little warmth in winter.

Emily walks leisurely along the way, enjoying the gentle sunshine. It felt like his cold heart was being melted by the sunlight.

The house where he lives now was bought by his father for his convenience after being accepted at Lantern High School. It is only a five-minute walk from home to school.

While crossing the street, he saw a golden letter that read "SMA Vienna Lantern".

Emily walks into the school area on a leisurely walk. His heart was full of happiness and passion to start this new life.

He walked what he remembered while in school. He climbed the stairs and entered his classroom.

Grade 2 was top grade, and most of its students were extremely diligent. Although it was still around twenty minutes before the first lesson hour began, most of the seats were already filled.

Emily entered through the back door of the room in a leisurely walk. However, a student sitting in the back row noticed him.

The man turned around, looked at Emily, and hesitantly asked, "Emily, did you forget or what?"

"Yes?" Emily frowned confusedly, looking at him with a puzzled expression.

Emily has stunning pearl eyes, clear and bright like a small river in the mountains.

At the sight by Emily, Arrayan Smith's face inadvertently flushed red, and he scratched his head agitatedly, then whispered, "Class 3 is downstairs."

The class was quiet, felt the sound of people breathing could be heard. So, even though Arrayan Smith spoke in a soft voice, some of the people in the back row could still hear and turn to look at him.

Emily's sudden joy of being reborn leaves her unaware of her current status. He was too late in his happiness to the point of not realizing that he had been "expelled" to Grade 3 due to an absence due to illness.

Emily used to feel disappointed about being transferred to a regular class, but now all she had in mind was wanting to get closer to Raymond.

He smiled at Arrayan Smith, without showing the slightest hint of shame or dissatisfaction, and said cheerfully, "Thank you, sorry, I forgot."

"It's okay, really," said Arrayan Smith, scratching his head. Her gaze followed the figure of Emily who was excited out of class until she disappeared in the school corridor before she finally returned to her class.

The stairs were filled with students to the point that Emily was crammed into the side of the wall. Emily slowly went down.

When he reached the entrance of Class 3, he finally slowed his pace.

The warm morning sun shone down the hallway as Emily stood under its light and looked through the classroom window.

There were only a few people sitting in the classroom, and grouping in two or three friendship groups. Emily felt her heart encased in ice, wanting to approach the warm atmosphere so close that she was also afraid to burn it.

She clasped tightly onto her skirt, biting her lips, and after a moment, could no longer bear the desire in her heart as she began to search for her figure that she was looking for, Raymond.

His gaze crossed the first row, the second row, and finally landed on the last row.

In an instant, Emily's nose went off, and her heart trembled very strongly. The warmth began to be felt in his body.

His gaze was a bit blurry, and he quietly rubbed his eyes, then looked at her sharply.

The room was immersed in golden sunlight. However, he sat in the corner of the last row, the only dark spot in the room.

The surrounding friends sat side by side in small groups, engaging in exciting chats. But he sat alone, his head lowered, his gaze fixed on the textbook on his desk, sometimes pushing black-framed glasses around his nose.

Suddenly, he closed his book and picked up his bottle, then stood up from his chair.

A gentle breeze messes with Emily's long hair as their eyes unexpectedly meet.

Finally, he looked at those black and deep eyes, like an endless night.

Emily's heart couldn't help but quiver, and she stared at him in a stunned silence. The words in his heart were stuck in his throat. He can't get a word out.

There was a momentary doubt in Raymond's eyes, but soon he lowered his gaze, quickened his pace, and left him.

Emily felt disappointed and her heart was empty. However, he tried to think that this was his first time in Third Grade, and Raymond might not recognize him, so such a reaction was natural.

Unbeknownst to Emily, as Raymond walked towards the water dispenser, his hand holding the glass shook slightly. It felt, his heart felt a great tremor and caused a sense of panic.

After arriving at the water dispenser, he stiffly opened the water lever. Without removing the glass cover, he tried to put water into his still-closed glass and caused the hot enough water to splash and burn his forehead, making his eyebrows twitch in pain.

"God." Raymond endured the pain as he closed the water lever, then rushed to the nearest sink, and rinsed his hands with cold water. The burning sensation slowly subsided.

It was only a few moments before the class started, and the hallways were filled with people. Emily hesitates whether or not to go into class when she sees their Third-grade teacher approaching her.

"Emily, I told you to come to the office first today, why are you waiting at the classroom door?"

Emily was embarrassed. "Sorry, Mika's mother, I forgot."

Although Mika was her homeroom teacher in Third Grade, she once taught Emily when she was in her first year, so they were quite familiar with each other.

She always liked Emily, so she didn't get angry and just patted Emily on the shoulder, saying, "It's okay, go in and sit in the second row on the left."

When one moved to Third Class, it meant that there was someone from Third Class also moving to Second Class. The seat in the second row is already set for students who are rain only.

But Emily had a plan in mind as she carefully observed the arrangement of the seats, and carefully said, "Mom, can I sit in the second last row? I'm afraid I'll block the view from the back if I sit in the front second row."

Emily was tall, standing at 172 centimeters tall, quite tall among the girls.

"Sure, please." Mika doesn't know about Emily's ulterior motives, so she easily agrees.

Emily could not hide her joy. The last second row was right in front of Raymond, giving him more opportunities to get close to him.

He walked back to the back of the class. All the views from the entire class focused on him instantly.

The boisterous class became silent, and only whispers were heard.

"Well, is that Emily who moved into our classroom?"

"Yes, right. He's been standing at the classroom door for a long time, I think I'm hallucinating."

"God, I feel so blessed."

"Where is he sitting? It should be Nayara's place."

"I also want to be able to sit next to a goddess as beautiful as her."

Stared with attentive gazes by everyone, Emily moved past the first group and walked straight towards the last row, finally putting her bag on her desk.

Her new classmate was a girl with big eyes, who was looking at her with bright eyes.

"Hi" said Emily, smiling at him.

His new classmate smiled and said, "Hi, my name is Kirana."

Emily felt her heart beating rapidly. He turned his head and looked at Raymond, who was still focusing on his book.

The classroom windows were open, and as the morning breeze came in, wagging a few strands of her hair.

Raymond had a pointed nose with a pair of black-framed glasses on it, making his already white skin appear increasingly white.

Emily was nervous, the nerves on her face strained with anxiety. He took two deep breaths and forced a sweet smile, saying, "Hi, how are you?"

Hearing Emily's friendly words, Raymond's stiff body became increasingly stiffer like a rock. His hand gripped the pen tighter, making his fingers holding his pen tremble.

Some sunlight barged in through the window. Raymond slightly raised his gaze and saw the girl in front of him smiling kindly.

The girl had a white skin shining in the sun, and her eyes were glittering like a brightly shining white crater flower. Her two dimples make her more beautiful and sweet.

Raymond felt as if his heart had jumped several times. The tip of his finger that had been exposed to hot water still felt warm. However, at this moment, that indistinct warmth seemed to be getting warmer.

He felt as if his heart was melting from that smile.

Emily felt her face almost freeze from smiling too much, but the young man in front of her still showed a cold expression. His face was expressionless, as if covered by the freezing winter snow.

He felt disappointed and his shoulders started to limp.

Raymond was indeed a person who tended to be cold, and it was only natural that he had such an attitude towards someone he considered foreign.

The homeroom teacher started the first class, and all the students sat in perfect positions. Kirana kindly patted him, gesturing for a perfect seat.

Emily squinted her eyes and would turn around when she heard Raymond's low voice.

"You, fine."

For some reason, he spoke with a slightly strange pause, as if every word came out with doubt.

However, with just these few words, Emily finds herself entertained during two hours of lessons.
