Chapter 14: Help

"Malvia?"

"Ethan?"

Ethan saw all that. How Malvia killed the man. He could not believe what he saw. The man was already frozen on the ground with his body torn apart and the heart no longer in place. Horrible sight.

"How is... You're..."

"Ethan, I can explain. It's not like you see."

"I thought you were different. I thought I could trust you. I think I know how you are. But I was blaming it? I don't know anything about you." Ethan walked away.

"Ethan, wait."

"No Malvia! I'm so worried about you, I'm looking for you like crazy! I think of you like a madman. You here to kill?"

"No, not Ethan. It's not-"

"You're just like everyone else. Bloodsuckers!" ethan's face is full of emotion. His breath was stirring, his jaw was hardened. Ethan got on his horse and left.

"No... Ethan's..." Malvia is on the ground. Her tears are flowing. After losing her family and her people, Malvia also lost the man she loved. It felt like chasing him, but it felt like his legs were frozen, unable to move.

"We'll just wait. I'm sure sooner or later he'll tell me. Maybe he's tired and needs time" Gabriel said. Sarah nodded and returned to her room.

Gabriel goes after Sarah while Anthony is still silently staring at Malvia's bedroom door.

The next day Malvia returned to her normal state, only her face looked sad. Sarah and the others were still reluctant to ask.

"Have you checked our food supply? I'll check our liquor warehouse. And Sarah, if there are food ingredients that are not immediately shopped. It's my blood." Malvia gave one glass of half her blood.

"But lady, this is too much" Sarah said.

"Drink." pinta Malvia. "Ahh the werewolf is dead. He won't bother us anymore. I'll be in the store."

Malvia goes to the barn leaving the three vampires still confused.

Malvians counted all their alcohol supplies. But not finished, he kept quiet. Her tears came back without orders.

"Are you sure?" said a voice outside the warehouse.

"I'm sure. Wait.." said the other person. The person looked around, looking for the whereabouts of someone. "The meeting will be tomorrow night."

"All right then. We need to get ready. Are there any new members?"

"Come on, don't joke. Where are they going to get vampires right now? Requirement is to kill or bring a vampire."

"You're right. But instead of the prime minister saying, a lot of vampires are hiding?"

"Once, maybe. But I don't think so."

"All right, thanks for the info. We meet tonight at the theater?"

Soon there were footsteps coming away.

"meeting? A vampire? What's that supposed?" muttered Malvia. Malvia got out of the barn and went to a brothel belonging to Madam Jade. Malvia knows Madam Jade. He was also the previous owner of Malvia's bar. Madam Jade is famous for her accurate and numerous information. But Madam Jade certainly doesn't know what Malvia really is. Just being suspicious.

Simultaneously with a creak heard, Malvia opened the door. He went inside and closed the door again.

"Oh Miss Isabella Rodrigez. Pleased meet. Is there a problem? Or maybe my offer to make you one of the pel*c*r I want you to accept?" ask madam Jade. Before selling his bar to Malvia, Madam Jade once offered Malvia to be a pel*c*r her brothel, seeing Malvia's nice body and beautiful face.

"No, madam. But I need, information from you." Malvia handed over a bag of gold coins. Madam Jade stared at the money bag for a moment then looked at Malvia.

"What do you want to know?" ask madam Jade.

"Vampire hunting group" said Malvia. Initially Madam Jade looked surprised, Malvia could see that. But he tried to hide it.

"Whatchu mean? I don't understand." said Madam Jade. He looks at Malvia's gaze.

"I know you know it, madam. I beg you, I want to know." pinta Malvia.

"Why do you want to know? Better not get involved. Not good for a girl like you. Let the men handle it." Madam Jade stood up from her seat and walked towards the window.

"I beg madam. Tell me."

Madam Jade looked at Malvia. "Why do you want to know?"

"What's? You're crazy."

"I have to join madam. I beg you."

"No." Turn Jade down and leave. Malvia stood up from her seat.

"I beg madam.."

Madam Jade stopped her steps and looked at Malvia.

"What exactly is it that you want to join that organization? That's dangerous."

Malvia was silent for a moment. "But I really wanted to join, for the sake of both my parents."

Madam Jade frowned. "What do you mean dear?"

"I am a noble from a remote area. My parents and my sister died at the hands of vampires, isn't that enough of an excuse yet? I can take care of myself Madam Jade."

"Ohhh I don't doubt it's dear. It's just, getting into that organization, it's very difficult."

"Tell me, everybody. I beg you."

Madam Jade sighed then walked back to her chair and sat down.

"The organization was created by a young man. No one knows who except the ones who belong there. Getting into the organization is hard. They have to kill as many vampires as they can but in a brutal way. Once confirmed, then they will decide whether to accept you or not."

Malvia was silent for a moment.

"Then I'll find a vampire."

"Oh dear, it's not that easy looking for a vampire right now. You know vampires are almost extinct."

"Then why do they, that organization, still exist?"

"That's I don't know. I really don't know. All I know is, they're getting more and more members."

"I'll try whatever I can" said Malvia steadily. He must enter and become a member of that society. He could have found the reason behind the extermination of his people.

Malvia uses her vampire powers to search for other vampires. Of course he's careful. Sarah tells us where the vampires are hiding other than in the forest of the curse. Sarah mentions one place they are likely to be even though the odds are small. Malvia danced among the branches of the tree, peeling one by one. He's been practicing for hundreds of years to do that. Now is the time to practice it. Malvia just needs to be careful. Mlavia stopped on one branch of a fairly large tree. Malvia stands in a village where only the ruins remain. When he felt safe, he went downstairs. The dwarves need to be very careful. They may be small but they are fast and good at hiding, very invisible. Suddenly someone pulled Malvia's hand violently and held her body against the wall. Malvia did not rebel because Malvia knew that the one who pulled her was not a dwarf because she could feel the height of the body of the person who pulled her.

"But why dear?"

"Look at the clothes! She looks so clean and graceful to a vampire who ran away and hid!" Elena pointed at the clothes Malvia was wearing. Everyone stared at Malvia's dress. The dress that Malvia had looked neat and clean. Although not fancy but very invisible if Malvia is a vampire who is hiding or running away.

"That I can explain" said Malvia who finally spoke. "I am Malvia Wycliff, daughter of King Leonard Wycliff."

Everyone is respectful. No one dared to raise their head up. In vampires, the word of the king is absolute. All the vampires scare him and the royal family because they are so powerful. The royal family also had demonic powers within their bodies.

"Can we go inside?" ask Malvia. Everyone there stared at each other for a moment and let Malvia in. Malvia entered without any doubt. Inside, he saw about two dozen people were inside.

"I'm sorry I'm late" Malvia said as she was inside the cave. "Are you guys okay?"

"We are good, your majesty" replied one of the men.

"Don't call me that. I'm not a vampire princess anymore."

"Not your highness. You're still the royal vampire princess to us."

"Thank you and thank you for surviving" Malvia said.

"But your Majesty, what's really going on? why were we attacked?"

"really? I really don't know but I'm planning to find out."

"But how can you find out about that? "

"By infiltrating their organization."

Everyone looked confused.

"But his highness-"

"Because of that." cut Malvia fast. "Therefore I ask you for your help."

"What kind of help is noble?"

"Great help from you guys and I'm really sorry" Malvia said,

Malvia turned herself into a hideous, fangs out, red eyeballs and all her veins blackened. The next second heard a scream echoing in the cave. Shouts for the sake of shouting sounded. How long the scream stopped. All was quiet, no one spoke.
