Chapter 13: Caught

A s*x worker walks home after a tired day. She does not live in the bar where she works because she has children waiting for her. The woman walked in the darkness of the night. Suddenly the woman's body was already in a small, dark alley. A man ambushed her, strangled her. The man pulled out his fangs and sucked the woman's blood without pause.

"Anthony." call one man. Anthony stopped his activities and looked over. Malvia was already there and staring at them. Anthony let go of the woman and wiped her mouth. "Don't we agree not to drink human blood until it's safe?"

"Until when? No one suspects us. Our food is human blood, not animal! At least I want to enjoy human blood once in a while."

"Wah wow... Turns out we have a vampire hiding here." said a man from the darkness of the alley. The man's face was not clearly visible but Malvia could smell it. Werewolves. Damnit damnit!

The man approached Malvia. Now with the moonlight, Malvia could see the man's face and grin.

"Don't try." prevent the man from seeing Malvia who is about to attack. The man pointed at his head. "I can mindlink anyone and they'll hunt you down."

Malvia stopped its actions. "What do you want?"

"We'll see what I want. Meet me at the edge of Lake Lakelyn tomorrow night. Bring what you have, love. We'll see." said the man with a grin and left. Damnit damnit!

"So how?" ask Sarah tomorrow night

"I don't know. Looks like I'll have to see him." said Malvia. "There's no other way."

Malvia followed the darkness of the night to Lakely lake, far from the city. He had already prepared himself if it was indeed a trap. That man could have come with his flock. He should be able to fight. Malvia did not use her vampire powers. Too risky. He used a horse to get there quickly.

Malvia soon reached the edge of the lake. The lake is surrounded by a thick forest. Without any illumination except the moon, Malvia got off her horse. He tied his horse to a tree. Malvia walked slowly, finding out the whereabouts of the man.

"Horses? It's really interesting" said the man from the back of Malvia. Malvia looked quickly. "I thought you'd bring your vampire friend."

"I know you're lying. You helped your man friend."

"Oh, of course he exists. He's a vampire too. I saw him suck the woman's blood."

"Ahhh brave one." Malvia grinned.

"But if you mess around, I can quickly call them." the man pointed at his head.

"Say what do you want?" ask Malvia again.

The man grinned. "Of course I know."

No, it's a lie. The man only guessed who Malvia was and it turned out that his guess was correct.

The man returned to Malvia. This time aggressively holding onto Malvia's waist, trying to open her lower dress. Malvia tries to stop him but the man is a werewolf. His strength was far above that of an average ordinary human but could rival that of a vampire. Malvia continued to rebel when her clothes were torn by the man. Malvia takes out her fangs and uses her vampire powers to slash the man. The man was violently slammed on the ground. The man turned into a wolf. He howled loudly, called out to his herd and then attacked. Malvia could no longer hold back. He had to fight and kill her.

The wolf jumped high. Malvia is quick. The wolf attacked again blindly, trying to bite Malvia. Malvia could have avoided her attack. He tore the wolf's stomach with his bite and then ripped out his heart.

The wolf's body instantly stiffened, not moving anymore. His body was lying on the ground, while Malvia was still holding the man's heart. Malvia's body was covered in blood.

"Malvia?" call someone. Malvia.

"E-Ethan?"
