All these thoughts swirled in his mind but another voice filled with anger could be heard simultaneously with Bai Hu's appearance.

"I wonder why I smell such a foul smell, it turns out it's you, Ling Mao." Bai Hu growled, "What are you doing here?!" He asked the black cat while giving a deadly look at him.

Ming Yue was quite surprised by Bai Hu's behavior. He knew Bai Hu was the explosive type of person, it could be seen from his interaction with Qing Long. However, his attitude towards this black cat was completely different. It was rude and filled with hatred so it made Ming Yue wonder, what exactly is the mystery they were hiding? Is it related to Chang'e? Any more?

Inside a certain cave, there was an altar and a woman floating while her body was wrapped in deep purple colored chains..

"Chang'e!" A man with a devil-like handsome face rushed towards a woman whose body was covered in deep purple chains. His trembling hand was raised, wanting to touch the woman's gentle face. Even when her eyes were closed, blood was flowing on her soft red lips and her skin was as pale as a ghost, the woman was still the most beautiful in her eyes.

"Chang'e. no. please open your eyes! please tell me that I'm not too late, please.." The man spoke, his hoarse voice filled with misery. Soon the man summoned his Blood Moon sword and attempted to cut the dark purple chain but the chain remained intact.

"Master, I can't break this chain. This chain is too strong!" Blood Moon's voice echoed in his mind.

"Master! Stop that!"

The man's slashing voice became heavier. As if mocking his desperate and futile actions.

"...Zhongs..Kui.." A soft and hoarse whisper rang out and the man stopped his movements. He turned his eyes to look at the woman.

"Chang'e!" The man touched his face, his hands were trembling. "Wait for me, I'll find a way to break this fucking chain!"

A faint smile appeared on Chang'e's face, "..There's no use. This chain.this.." Chang'e coughed up blood once again, he felt the time was getting closer.

"Chang 'e.. No. I'm not giving up! Hang in! I. please.." Zhong Kui's eyes ached, his vision blurred, "....Don't go.."

Chang'e looked at the man with loving eyes, "..Zhong Kui. I..." The chain slowly tightened, causing him to cough up blood once again.

"..If there is. there is another life.." Chang'e started talking but Zhong Kui shook his head as tears continued to flow like water.

"No! Don't say that!!" His hand once again grabbed the sword by his side and started cutting the chain over and over again but the chain kept tightening and slowly Chang'e's body shone brightly.

"...If.there's another life..." Chang'e muttered softly, his voice not reaching Zhong Kui who was still cutting the chains. "..I want to.love you again.."

Chang'e's body shattered and turned into particles of light and the chains disappeared with him. Zhong Kui just stood still, his mind becoming blank and replaced by one emotion.

THE ANGER...

"Mr .."Blood Moon tried to call out to him, resuscitating his Master from a blank thought. However, silence was the only answer Zhong Kui gave.

"..Mr..?"Blood Moon tried again and this time Zhong Kui reacted.

"...Gone.." Zhong Kui whispered as his other hand lifted up and touched his chest. His heart was empty and in excruciating pain. It was as if half his soul had left, leaving him alone.

"..She's gone.."

"Master.. Please calm-"

"Whispering.." Zhong Kui spoke, his tone colder than ice. That caused Blood Moon to go silent. "..If you keep making noise.. I'll destroy you with my own hands.."

*Blood Moon*shocked, this is the first time his master has spoken to him like this. "..Mister.."

Zhong Kui suddenly let out a sinister laugh, his laughter echoing throughout the cave, making the cave tremble due to its strength "... Pest.. Yes, they are all pests.."

Zhong Kui laughed once more, this time even louder. He lost his mind, fell into madness. ".. Pests must be destroyed.." He said with a laugh, "wait for me Chang'e. I will destroy all the pests.and I will go to the place where you are.."
