Inside the moving car along the road, the old man introduced himself. "My name is Wu Zhi Tian, you can call me Grandpa Wu. What's your name young lady?"

"My name is Ming Yue and this is my cat, Bai Hu." Ming Yue replied and showed Bai Hu who had been silent the entire time since Grandpa Wu had called her.

Of course seeing Bai Hu like that, Ming Yue was confused.

'Bai Hu.. are you not feeling well? You've been quiet ever since Grandpa Wu came' Ming Yue asked Bai Hu in his mind.

'...This old man smelled of impurity.' Bai Hu said.

'..Impurity? You mean Grandpa Wu is possessed by an evil spirit?' Ming Yue frowned even more.

'..No, but maybe there's at home. This old man's health deteriorated even though he looked fine from the outside.' Bai Hu said, glancing at Grandpa Wu.

"Ming Yue. means 'The Moon of Light'. That name suits you well." Grandfather Wu said with a warm smile, cutting off the conversation between Bai Hu and Ming Yue.

Ming Yue whose attention was distracted from Bai Hu, showed a gentle smile of gratitude, "Thank you, Grandpa Wu."

However his face immediately became worried, "But is it okay for me to stay at your house, Grandpa Wu. I'm afraid your family will mind."

Grandpa Wu snorted, "If they dare then I will punish them."

Ming Yue did not say anything, only smiling politely. He did not believe that this old man would actually punish his own family for a stranger like him. Blood is thicker than water.

Ming Yue snorted with irony as she mocked herself for thinking blood was thicker than water. Some blood could be thrown away as if it had not existed from the very beginning. Just like Ming Yue's mother did to Ming Yue...

They arrived at the mansion where the Wu family lived. Only when he stared at the mansion did Ming Yue realize that Grandpa Wu was from that famous Wu family. Number one in D City. Realizing that fact, Ming Yue started to feel a little nervous. Even though her soul was the soul of a 25-year-old woman, at least she still felt a little nervous dealing with a rich person.

"Come, let Grandfather introduce you to the members of the grandfather's family" Grandpa Wu said as he entered the mansion with Ming Yue following slightly behind nervously.

"Dad-in-law, you've come." A soft voice rang out followed by a woman who looked like she was in her thirties coming to greet the old man.

"Hm. Where is everyone?" Grandpa Wu asked the woman.

"They're all in the living room." The woman replied and noticed Ming Yue who was holding Bai Hu in her hand. "Father-in-law, this .."

"This little Yue (Little Yue), she will be a guest in our house for a while." Grandfather Wu said and introduced the woman to Ming Yue. "Little Yue, this is my daughter-in-law, Yu Fan Mei."

(A/N: Little Yue is a familiar form of calling.)

"Good Night, Mrs Wu. My name is Ming Yue, I'm sorry to bother you with my visit." Ming Yue introduced herself politely.

Fan Mei looked at Ming Yue and the cat in her arms before smiling gently, "There's no need to be too formal. You can call me Aunt May. Come on, let's introduce yourself to everyone."

Ming Yue was taken to the living room. Inside, he saw two men and one woman. When they saw Ming Yue and the cat that was in his arms, they were shocked at the unexpected arrival of guests. However, it was the same for Ming Yue but for a different reason.

"Dad, this girl.." A man who looked like he was in his forties spoke as he stood up from the chair he was sitting on. His face was hard and looked very firm. Other young men and women also stood with him.

"This Little Yue, she will be a guest in this house for a while." Grandpa Wu said. "Yue little, this man is my son. The two people nearby are my grandchildren."

"Good Night, Mr. Wu. I'm sorry to bother you with my sudden visit and thank you for your kindness." Ming Yue said politely but still looked at Wu shi Jian's face with a frown on his face.

Seeing Ming Yue like that, Grandpa Wu wrinkled. "Yue little, why you-"

"ah! I remember now!" Wu Lin Shao suddenly cut, "You are the cursed child of the Qing Family, right?" He asked in a relaxed tone, having no ill intentions in his words.

Fan Mei looked at her son, "Cursed child? What do you mean by that, Shao er?"

"Well that's a famous rumor in town D. Ma'am, you need to be more up-to-date with what's going on in this city, you know" said Lin Shao.

"Explain what you mean by 'Cursed Child'." Grandfather Wu urged Lin Shao to continue,

"Well, she was abandoned by her own mother. Rumor has it that it's because he can see ghosts." Lin Shao explained and looked at Ming Yue excitedly, "Can you really see a ghost?"

"I can." Ming Yue replied calmly.

"Wow! That's so cool!" exclaimed Lin Shao, looking at Ming Yue with respect.

"Are you not afraid?" Lin Zhao asked, "I mean it's a ghost anyway." He said with a nervous smile.

Ming Yue smiled gently, "Initially yes, but I had to get used to it like it or not. After all, that talent was given to me from birth." Ming Yue said and immediately her smile disappeared as suddenly all the objects in the living room started to tremble violently as if there was an earthquake.

"W-What happened?!" Lin Shao asked as he pulled his sister into a hug.

"Darling!" Fan Mei rushed towards Shi Jian but Ming Yue grabbed his arm and pulled him away from Wu Shi Jian.

"Don't approach him!" Ming Yue said in a loud voice. "Mr Wu is cursed with an evil spirit."

"What?!" Grandpa Wu was surprised, he could not believe his ears. "What do you mean cursed?! what evil spirit?!"

Wu Shi Jian looked at Ming Yue in disbelief. She's cursed? That's not possible..

"I don't have time to explain. Grandfather Wu, Aunt Mei went to Lin Shao and Lin Zhao and stayed there. Until I say it's okay, don't stay away from that place." Ming Yue said with a tone of command, no matter if the tone was polite or not.

"Mr Wu, stay where you are. Now that the evil spirit has realized that I am here, it will show itself."

As Grandpa Wu and Fan Mei moved according to what Ming Yue said, they gasped softly as Ming Yue said the evil spirit was going to show itself.

"Remember, No matter what you see or hear, you MUST NOT tell anyone else.."

A/N: I used the name Ming Yue as MC because it means 'Light Moon' and Ying Yue for twin brothers because it means 'Moon Reflection'
