"Sister Yue.." Lin Zhao chased after Ming Yue who left in a hurry. Lin Shao managed to catch Ming Yue's hand and he frowned when he felt how cold his hand was.

Lin Zhao could not bear to see how Ming Yue forced herself to smile. He rushed forward and hugged Ming Yue tightly. His heart ached for Ming Yue. Lin Zhao noticed how mature Ming Yue was during their time together at Tianshang De Kongjian. She felt Ming Yue was forced to become an adult despite being the same age as herself and Lin Shao. It made her wonder how many wounds in her sister's heart that made her so mature yet at the same time she was so fragile.

"I'm right here. WE're right here. So don't be sad, Brother Yue." Lin Zhao muttered in a reassuring tone and continued to say it over and over again, like calming a child.

This made Ming Yue laugh softly, feeling the warmth back into her body. Yep.. He had a brother, he had a family, he had four celestial beasts as friends. He's not alone anymore.

Gently patting Lin Zhao's back with his free hand and tightly grasping Lin Shao's hand, Ming Yue muttered in a soft voice, "Thank you, A Shao, A Zhao."

The twins finally broke away from him. The three stared at each other for a while then laughed together because they felt silly and funny. They walked together, chatting about small matters as if wanting to wipe away the gloomy atmosphere in Ming Yue's heart and Ming Yue felt grateful for it.

Lin Zhao clucked in disbelief as he watched his twin brother excitedly enter the restaurant. "Truly my twin brother." He grumbled and held Ming Yue's hand.

"Come in, Brother Yue." He said with a bright smile.

Ming Yue's lips curved upwards and nodded. He entered the restaurant together with Lin Zhao, yet Bai Hu remained outside. His head turned towards the direction where Ming Yue met Long Zhi Qiang. His blue eyes were filled with cold anger and a desire to kill.

'You had a chance but you ruined it..'

'Now you want to approach my Lady again..?'

'You think I'll let that happen..?!'

Bai Hu pondered inwardly. He had disliked Long Zhi Qiang before and he was increasingly disliking him now. The man had the same scent as the bastard named Zhong Kui, even his arrogant words were just like that rotten man.
