A Vow Under the Full Moon

"What are you doing here..?" Ming Yue asked in a cold tone. "..Long Zhi Qiang..."

Ming Yue called out the man's name more coldly and Zhi Qiang noticed it.

Long Zhi Qiang muttered softly in his ear, "..I came to pick you up, Yueku." she replied, not minding the girl's cold demeanor.

Actually he didn't mind it in the least. Whatever Ming Yue wanted to do to him, Zhi Qiang would accept it with pleasure. He knew it would be painful and torturous, but Zhi Qiang happily accepted it.

'Pick me up..?'

'Yue..?'

'What is this man playing now..?'

Ming Yue was in a state of confusion. He did not understand why Zhi Qiang had come to his school so boldly like this. His eyes widened, moving left and right and appearing out of focus. Ming Ran, Yu Wang and Mu Chen looked at Ming Yue's state, they became worried. However, they did not know that Ming Yue was fighting against the voices in her head at the moment.

'He said he came to pick you up. Aren't you happy now..?'

(No.)

'Why? isn't he the love of your life?'

(No. not anymore.)

'Are you sure? Didn't you love her so much that you took her curse and sacrificed your own life?'

(No. I will not.. I won't sacrifice my life for her again.)

'You will.. Why? because deep down in your heart you've always loved her..'

(Love.?)

A huge aura suddenly shot out from Ming Yue's body, making the classroom fall apart as a gust of wind suddenly came. The disciples were shocked, covering themselves by holding their heads to defend against the wind. Even Long Zhi Qiang was pushed slightly by his energy. Seeing such a state from Ming Yue, there was a voice in his heart, telling him to approach the girl and hug her. So Long Zhi Qiang advanced and pulled Ming Yue into his embrace.

Inside Tianshang De Kongjian, the four celestial beasts raised their heads and quickly moved to Moon Lake where the state of Ming Yue could be seen there. The three celestial beasts saw how Ming Yue was pulled into Zhi Qiang's arms, their eyes filled with a cold fury.

"Master! He lost control of his power!" Bai Hu growled. "We have to calm her down somehow!"

Zhu Que frowned for a moment then turned his gaze to Qing Long. "Qing Long, connect your mind to Master and play your flute!" He ordered Qing Long. "Only your flute can calm his current state!"

Qing Long nodded he took his flute from his own spatial storage and started playing the melody. The melody he used to play for Chang'e whenever he got bored or drank wine. It was called, 'Half Moon' (Half Moon Melody).

Ming Yue heard the melody in her mind and somehow, she felt nostalgic hearing the melody. Wh why? Why does it feel so familiar and familiar?

"Sir. calm your energy." Qing Long's soft and cold voice echoed in his mind. "Don't be afraid, Master has this Qing Long by your side."

Yep.. Master has himself..

Suddenly a scene flashed in his mind, as if there was an old movie scene playing in his mind.

Chang'e stood next to Qing Long, grinning widely as he lifted the wine jar towards Qing Long.

"It's so boring to spend time alone in your palace, Qing Long! Me, Chang'e will be with you!"

Qing Long chuckled, "What bad are you planning to do now?" She asked gently, her eyes filled with adoration as she looked at the beautiful goddess with a loving look.

"Explore world! Spend time with others!"

Qing Long laughed out loud, her smile so bright. Rarely did he laugh so loudly like that, but Chang'e liked it. "Good, Lady. This Qing Long will be with you."

"Then let's swear!" Chang'e said and stared at the bright full moon in the night sky. "We'll live together forever! Be it when the moon is dead or when the moon is shining brightly!" with that, Chang'e placed the wine jar to his lips and gulped it down full before sighing in satisfaction.

Qing Long, with a bright smile still plastered on his handsome and cold face, raised his own urn of wine and swore to the moon.

"Good! We shall live freely together forever, whether when the moon dies or when the moon shines bright." Qing Long said and added more, "This Qing Long will stay by your side forever .."

And when she said that, her eyes looked at the side of Chang'e's pretty face gently before she moved the wine jar to her lips and gulped down the sky wine.

It was an oath made by his master and protector..

They sincerely and purely want to spend time together, living freely for eternity..

A beautiful oath under the full moon..

Ming Yue shed tears as she finally calmed down. The energy around him began to disappear. His heart ached after seeing that scene in his mind. Qing Long must have missed Chang'e so much. She missed Chang'e so much that she said those words to calm him down.

'But why do I feel like those words are nostalgic?'

Just as a drop of water fell into the lotus pond and made a water ripple, Qing Long's words would send a great effect on Ming Yue's soul. It accelerated the wheel of fate/destiny that was already in motion.

Meanwhile somewhere else in Q City..

A girl stared at the sky as she sat on one of the benches in a certain park. A sorrowful smile appeared on his face, "The oath you made together with Qing Long.You finally remember it.." He mumbled those words slowly.

"There are still many memories, Chang'e.. You have to remember everything, so you can take revenge on the goddess who framed you.."

"I want to know.. How long will it take.." The girl's head lowered and looked at her own open hand, "For you to remember everything.."

“Maybe after that, I will disappear as well.” she smiled bitterly.
