Punishment (2)

"Now should we give a punishment, Grandpa?"

"Good! What's on your mind, Little Yue?" Grandfather Wu asked, agreeing to his suggestion.

"First, we need to gather the disciples in the meeting hall, the headmaster needs to announce the truth and warn the pupils not to spread baseless rumors." Ming Yue explained, "About the punishment, I've already bet with a certain person that I will knock him half dead if the rumor proves false." Ming Yue smiled mischievously.

"For School Head Gong.." Ming Yue followed his words as she glanced at the man who looked like he was in his late forties. "Grandfather can ask the school board to replace him."

In fact, Ming Yue preferred Vice School Head Zhuge as the principal. Although the man was younger than School Head Gong and needed more experience but Zhuge Yu was not a narrow-minded person like School Head Gong. Ming Yue remembered there were times, Zhuge Yu helped her but she was too grim and depressed to notice the man's kindness.

"That-"

"Good!" Grandpa Wu agreed immediately. He planned to do that from the beginning. The school that had someone calling her beautiful granddaughter 'Cursed Pawn Orphan' as the Headmaster, it would only worry her.

School Head Gong knew that he was done. He clenched his hands, unable to accept reality. Wh why? Why?! WHY?!

Ming Yue did not pay much attention to School Head Gong but seeing how he was just standing there, not moving from where he was, Ming Yue could only sigh softly.

"Deputy principal Zhuge, do you want to do this honor?" Ming Yue asked the man in his mid-thirties.

Understanding what Ming Yue had asked to do, Zhuge Yu glanced at School Head Gong for a moment before nodding. "I'll soon gather the disciples." He said and left the office after nodding to Grandpa Wu.

"Let's go, Grandpa." Ming Yue said, walking towards Grandpa Wu and holding his arm, acting spoiled. This was probably the bravest thing Ming Yue had done so far, but seeing how Grandpa Wu was pleased with his efficacious behavior, Ming Yue was happy.

As they walked towards the door, a voice rang out and it came from School Head Gong. "..You're just a fucking Orphan!" he bellowed furiously, "Why is an orphan like you adopted by the Wu family?! Are you acting pathetic?! Making a drama for them to pity you?!"

School Head Gong laughed as if he had lost his sanity, "You little fox! If you don't act pathetically, the Wu family won't adopt you! you're a nobody! Even your own parents don't love you. They left you, didn't they? It is indeed a worthy thing to happen to you for being a 'Cursed Child'! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!"

Grandpa Wu was almost furious but Ming Yue pulled her arm and shook her head as she turned her gaze to look into Principal Gong's eyes. "It's not my fault I was born with the ability to see things that no one else can see." Ming Yue said, looking at him as if he was a pitiful person.

“Can someone choose whether they are orphans or not? Mistakes not for me but for my parents. They denied my barbarity because I had the ability given by the heavens. You can call me a cursed child or whatever but there are people who can accept me for who I am." Ming Yue said and at the end of her sentence, she turned her gaze to meet Grandpa Wu's eyes. A sweet and gentle smile was plastered on her face.

"Like the Wu Family and I, Ming Yue, are grateful to be members of their family."

Grandpa Wu's eyes were filled with warmth, the old man was almost choked by his own feelings as he patted the hand that was hugging his arm, gently. "It is an honor for the Wu family to have you as a member of our family, Little Yue." He tried to calm himself.

Ming Yue's...

The disciples gathered in the meeting hall and Vice Principal Zhuge announced the truth. Hearing the news about Ming Yue being adopted by the richest family in D city, all the disciples became noisier. Qing Xu Lin could not believe his ears, he was unwilling to accept such a good thing happening to Ming Yue. However when Grandpa Wu stood on the podium, in front of all the students/i he explained that in two days Ming Yue would become Wu Ming Yue. Qing Xu Lin's face turned pale instantly, his mind started to panic.

No No No No No No!! That can't happen! Ming Yue could not become the famous and richest Wu family! That damned P*lacur should be beneath him!

Qin Xu Lin had to stop his parents from signing the documents! However, little did Qing Xu Lin know that at this time, the Wu Family lawyer had come to the Qing family home and had Gu Sui Rong sign the necessary documents with a bit of 'Coercion'.

If Qing Xu Lin panicked over adoption issues, it was another case with Li Xiao Yin. Xiao Yin remembered the bet he made with Ming Yue and his face became so pale that it resembled a ghost. He could not believe that the old man in the car was the Elder of the Wu family. Why?! Why did all the good things happen to that p*lacur?! He was just an orphan who was abandoned and banished! Xiao Yin felt that the sky was truly unfair!

"Principal Gong will be replaced as punishment, but my granddaughter says she has to punish one person." Grandfather Wu ended his explanation with this sentence. "There's a schoolgirl here who's spreading baseless rumors about my granddaughter, I want to know that person."

All eyes began to switch and landed on Xiao Yin who was still in a daze, immersed in her own bitter contemplation. Xiao Yin gasped as he felt the crowd of students parting like the waves of the sea, creating a way for Ming Yue to walk. His body trembled in fear as he looked at the cruel smile on Ming Yue's face and the ruthlessness on his black sphere.

"T-No.." Xiao Yin took a step back as he remembered that Ming Yue would cripple him half-dead if the rumors were proven false. "Don't come any closer!"

Ming Yue chuckled as she continued to step forward, "How can I cripple you if I don't get close?" he asked in an amused tone and finally stopped in front of Xiao Yin.

"You can't do that! School won't allow you-"

*BOM!*

Ming Yue struck Xiao Yin's chest with her palm that contained a hint of internal energy. Xiao Yin could not react or even scream in pain as he flew slightly back, landed on the floor violently and spurted blood. Ming Yue did not even show any emotion as she stepped forward and looked at him. Xiao Yin could not refute even if he wanted to curse Ming Yue to death, his body felt like something was creeping inside. Of course that 'something' was Ming Yue's internal energy, it would continue to torment Xiao Yin for the rest of his life, messing up his meridians.

"I told you I'd knock you half dead. This alone was enough as it were" Ming Yue said and turned to face the disciples who were staring at him in horror. But he did not know there were some students/i who gave him the meaning of a 'different' gaze'.

"This will be a reminder to all of you. DON'T try messing with me or I won't be merciful." Ming Yue gave them a warning.

Grandfather Wu who was watching, nodded in agreement upon seeing Ming Yue's punishment. As a member of the Wu family, Grandpa Wu wanted Ming Yue to be firm, never submit to anyone. Xiao Yin was taken to the hospital after Vice Principal Zhuge had sent the student/i back to their classroom. Grandfather Wu decided to talk to the school board and make them immediately hold an emergency meeting. Ming Yue could not help feeling that there would be more happenings today.

And his feelings turned out to be right once school ended that day...
