"Remember, No matter what you see or hear .. You CAN'T tell anyone else .." Ming Yue gave a warning to all of them. Ming Yue did not want to expose herself but she could not help it this time.
Originally Ming Yue did not want the evil spirit to be aware of her existence but she did not expect that the evil spirit that gnawed at Master Wu's body was so sensitive and immediately realized the presence of Ming Yue nearby.
"Bai Hu, go back to your original form and create a protector around these four people." Ming Yue ordered as she pointed towards Grandpa Wu who had gathered with Wu Lin Shao, who was in the same position, Wu Lin Zhao and Lady Wu.
"Good sir." Bai Hu said as he slowly returned to his original form and created a barrier around the four people behind Ming Yue.
The five people who heard Ming Yue's words and they frowned, feeling puzzled. But they immediately understood and their jaws gaped as the cat that had been in Ming Yue's arms turned into a huge white tiger. The scenes that should only exist in fantasy movies are now happening in their own homes! Moreover they heard the sound of tigers echoing in their minds! It's a completely out of logic!
"He's coming!" Ming Yue said as a dark purple-colored fog gathered and a terrifying creature emerged from within the fog. It was a demon with sharp fangs and a crushed face. The demon was tall, at least taller than Ming Yue and had thick, muscular arms and legs.
Seeing such a demon, Lin Zhao shouted in fear while the others stood frozen. The demon looked at Ming Yue threateningly, "Are you the human who came to disturb my place?"
Ming Yue's eyes narrowed slightly, "Your place? this is not your place. Who sent you here?"
"sent? Why do you think I was sent?" The Devil said, his eyes filled with amusement.
"You are an evil spirit. You can't stay in one place and become a demon if you're not under contract with humans. Who is that guy?" Ming Yue asked in a stern tone.
"Don't act too high and mighty, man! I won't tell you anything! Now be my food!!" The demon roared and launched into Ming Yue but stopped suddenly when he felt a pure aura.
From the start, Bai Hu hid his aura and absence upon entering Wu's house. That was the reason why evil spirits dared to appear because it only sensed the presence and aura of Ming Yue. Now that he tried to eat Ming Yue, Bai Hu would not be compassionate.
"Au-Aura this is. ti-no way.." The devil was trembling in fear. The Devil wanted to escape but the murderous aura that Bai Hu launched, had locked the demon in its place. He can't move at all!!
"For worms like you who dare to eat my Master.." Bai Hu roared loudly, "That's a big sin!!"
"Nooo!!! Ergh!!!!" The demon was swallowed by the whirlwind and immediately disappeared into thin air.
"I'm worried about having to meet a powerful evil spirit, it seems like my worries are in vain." Ming Yue said and stroked Bai Hu's head, "Good work, Bai Hu."
Bai Hu snored softly, enjoying the caress of his master's hand. Ming Yue smiled gently and turned to the five people who were still in shock.
"All is well now." Ming Yue said with a reassuring tone.
Lin Zhao slumped onto the nearby sofa, losing the strength to stand up and so did Fan Mei. Grandpa Wu was still standing but slowly he sat down on the nearest chair.
"Bai Hu." Ming Yue called out to him and Bai Hu knew what he had to do. There was a gentle breeze that suddenly appeared in the room, making the five people calm and relaxed.
"It's.." Fan Mei muttered and gave Ming Yue a gentle smile, "Thank you. I feel better now."
"It's my fault from the beginning, Aunt May. If I don't come to this house-"
"Stop!" Grandfather Wu cut off Ming Yue's words, he looked at Ming Yue seriously. "How could this be your fault? If you don't come to our house, Little Yue then my son is still cursed by that demon. For that, I, Wu Zhi Tian and the entire Wu Family owe you."
Grandpa Wu wanted to stand up and bow to Ming Yue but Ming Yue rushed over and stopped him. "Please Grandpa Wu, don't be like this. You're kind enough to let me stay at your house tonight. That's enough, no need to owe."
"This stupid kid, of course, is not enough. How about this, if you're in trouble, come to grandpa. As long as it's not illegal, Grandpa will help you." Grandpa Wu said, clearly stubborn.
Ming Yue sighed in resignation before smiling at the stubborn old man. "Okay, thank you Grandpa Wu."
"By the way, Brother Yue." Lin Shao called out to him, "About this tiger.."
All eyes were on Bai Hu who stood behind Ming Yue indifferently.
"Well.." Ming Yue slightly grimaced, "This is my protector, Bai Hu."
"That's right man, I'm so cool. You can worship me and my master." Bai Hu said arrogantly.
Ming Yue smacked Bai Hu in the head, "Bai Hu, don't be disrespectful!"
"Master, sick. Why are you copying what that stinky lizard did to me?" Bai Hu asked with apparent dissatisfaction imprinted on his tiger face.
"I'm sorry for Bai Hu's rudeness, I'll teach him some manners later." Ming Yue apologized to the members of the Wu family.
"It's okay." Wu Shi Jian smiled. "But I was surprised, because you have a protector. No, I was more surprised to learn that the protective beast actually existed."
"Yes! like in old fantasy movies!" Lin Shao said, "May I touch your protector, Brother Yue?"
"Please." Ming Yue gave him permission and Lin Shao rushed towards Bai Hu and carefully stroked her fur.
"But I didn't think that ghosts and demons really existed.." Lin Zhao muttered softly,
"In this world, there are things that are hidden from our eyes. Legends, creatures in folklore, they really do exist. Most people don't believe it but some people believe it and one of those people is the one who sent the curse demon to Lord Wu" Ming Yue explained. "If the devil is left, Master Wu will lose his life. Not to mention the impurity of the devil also affects all of you."
Hearing Ming Yue's words, Grandpa Wu's eyes turned cold and full of anger. "Dare to send a curse demon to hurt my son." Grandpa Wu slammed his hand into the chair. "Whoever it is.. How dare he!"
"Little Yue, can you track down the person who sent the curse?" Grandfather Wu asked
"Well, maybe Bai Hu can. Bai Hu, can you track him?" Ask Ming Yue.
Bai Hu was enjoying her fur stroking, speaking while closing her eyes. "Of course, my Lady." He said and walked towards Wu Shi Jian.
Wu Shi Jian stiffened to see a huge white tiger walking towards him. Although he can talk but still a tiger, right? Of course Wu Shi Jian would be on guard.
Bai Hu did not care about Wu shi Jian's reaction to him. In Bai Hu's eyes, Wu Shi Jian was just an ordinary human like the people in this house. He doesn't have to care about what people think of him. All Bai Hu cared about was what her master thought.
He raised one leg and placed it over Wu Shi Jian's hand and as he retracted his leg, a pentagram appeared on the back of Wu Shi Jian's hand.
"It .." Wu Shi Jian stared at the pentagram mark in his hand, clearly dumbfounded.
"Don't worry, others won't be able to see it. This sign will shine bright red when it is near the person who gave you the curse." Bai Hu said and returned to Ming Yue's side.
"I understand .." Wu Shi Jian bowed slightly, "I owe you one."
"Mr Wu is too polite. I only repay kindness with kindness." Ming Yue said in a humble tone.
Wu Shi Jian smiled, "Then don't call me Mr. Wu. Call me Uncle Jian."
"Good, Uncle Jian." Ming Yue returned her smile.
"I'll call you, Brother Yue!" Li Shao said excitedly. "Since we're the same age, you can call me Lin Shao!"
"Me too, I will call you Brother Yue. You can call me Lin Zhao." Li Zhao said as he ventured to follow his twin brother to caress Bai Hu. Shortly thereafter, he was addicted.
"Ah, about Bai Hu.." Ming Yue reminded them,
"Don't worry, we won't tell anyone. Even the waiter and butler won't know." Grandfather Wu promised and the other members nodded in agreement.
They knew that this matter could not be notified to anyone because there might be people who wanted to take advantage of Ming Yue and her protector.
