Ranums

Ranums
THE MAUNTAON INN

Three hours later, the Pilatus PC-24 that Ranum boarded finally arrived at Matsapha airport because it had to refuel. “Moon, what time is it?” Ranum asked.

“Currently in Manzini at 16:48 local time Young Master.” Moon replied.

“When do I meet with the metal seller?” Ranum asked back.

“Esok day, at 10:00 local time Young Master.” Moon answered again.

Ranum immediately pulled out his motorbike from the plane, spurring the motorbike to enjoy the city. Ranum stopped at the Luphohlo dam, enjoying the place for twenty minutes while smoking.

Ranum drove back to a hotel on Princess Drive, Mbabane H100. Ranum booked five hotel rooms, one poolside suite for Ranum and four regular poolside rooms. Ranum immediately contacted Muhammad. “Mad, I'm at Mauntaon Inn Princess Drive street, Mbabane H100. Bring everyone here.” Ranum spoke flatly.

“Alright, I'll be there by public transport.” Muhammad's voice rang out at the tip of the earpods.

“No need, I've asked the hotel to pick you up at the airport. Please bring me a change of clothes and some of my needs.” Ranum spoke flatly.

“Aye aye Sir!” Muhammad exclaims.

Ranum nodded, turning off his earpods.

Ranum went to his room, took off all his clothes leaving his shorts. Ranum immediately went to the swimming pool at the hotel. Ranum swims while watching the sunset. A waiter came to meet Ranum. “Excuse me sir, do you want to order something?” The waiter asked Ranum.

“Do you guys have whiskey?” Ranum asked.

The waiter nodded. “But we only have blue label, Double Cask 18 years, highland signet and cigar malt.” The waiter explained.

“Double cask five bottles along with five cups and please bring more ice cubes.”

“Good sir, I'll be ready soon. Would you like to order food too?” The waiter handed me a menu list.

“Please serve everything you have. Can you serve it there?” Ranum pointed at the empty land.

“Sorry sir, we can only“

“I'll pay triple. Just prepare a table and chairs for the five people in that place and serve all the food you have. Understand?” Ranum cut the servant's sentence.

“Ta-“

“I paid five times. If still can't, I'll check out this time and make you all lose your jobs at this place.” Ranum began to get upset, because his time was wasted – was wasted just because of food.

“Alright sir, we will prepare soon.” The waiter immediately left Ranum.

Twenty-five minutes later, Muhammad and the others arrived at the hotel. Meet Ranum in the pool. “How can you find a place as good as this Ranum?” Muhammad asked.

Ranum down his scotch. “I accidentally found this hotel while driving around.” Ranum answered flatly. “Where else?” Ranum asked.

“Still in room each – each. Why did you book four rooms for us?” Muhammad then asked.

Ranum shrugged his shoulders. “The four of you, I should have booked four rooms right?” Ranum asked back.

“Me, Max and Henry can be placed in one room. You just need to book a different room for Rosie.” Muhammad replied.

“Already done.” Ranum handed him his cigarette pack.

“I brought you a bottle of Blanton’s. Why did you order this much scotch?” Muhammad asked again while picking up a cigarette belonging to Ranum.

“We five.” Ranum answered briefly.

Muhammad laughs. “You know very well that I don't drink alcohol.” Muhammad burned his cigarette. “You just want to hurry the waiter away right?” Muhammad then asked.

“Kore or less.” Ranum smiled.

Max, Henry and Rosie come to the pool, greeting Ranum.

Ranum shifted some scotch bottles and glasses to the men. “Minum.” Ranum brought his cigarette pack closer as well.

“How was your life in Melbourne? It's been a long time we don't have time to talk like this.” Muhammad laughed a little.

Ranum shrugged his shoulders. “Regularly.”

“Actually where are you staying?” Muhammad asked again.

Muhammad laughed a little. “Always aloof.”

“I'm not alone, many people around me.” Ranum swam to the other side of the pool, then returned to the starting point. “Three of you don't strain like that, relax. I'm also your friend.” Ranum spoke to three of his men who were just sitting around watching while drinking scotch.

“You don't need to be stiff with this person while being away from his family.” Muhammad says.

Max, Henry and Rosie just smiled, nodding. Shame because there is Ranum.

“Max, are you tired of being the co-pilot of this guy?” Ranum asked, laughing.

“No Young Master. I am happy to be with Muhammad.” Max laughed a little.

“Henry, Rosie. What about you guys? Do you still feel at home being a flight attendant and flight attendant on the plane?” Ranum asked back.

“We are very happy and at home Young Master.” Rosie and Henry answered in unison.

“If you guys get bored with this guy, I'll find a new pilot.” Ranum laughed a little.

Muhammad laughed, smoking his cigarette.

“Your back will be able to recover Young Master?” Rosie asked.

Ranum laughed a little. “Burning injuries like this will not be able to recover.” Ranum down his scotch. “Great enough for you to see this wound?” Ranum asked.

Rosie shakes. “I just can't imagine the pain when you were hit by a bomb that time.” Rosie continued to explain.

Ranum laughed a little. “No need to imagine.”

“Young Master, why don't you like working with others?” This time Max asked.

Ranum smiled. “I just don't want anyone interfering with my duties.”

“How does it feel to be the one who has everything Young Master.” Henry asked.

Ranum was silent for a moment, smoking his cigarette. “Thank you if you think like that. But for me who have felt it, it feels a little vain – in vain. Because I have no purpose in life.” Ranum answered flatly.

“Isn't it so much fun living a jungle of treasures like you Young Master?” Henry asked again.

Ranum nodded. “I admit that side is very helpful, I have a problem that has been resolved. But strangely that side is also what I think adds to the problem.” Ranum spoke flatly.

“Means how Young Master?” Henry asked confusedly.

“Note one of your wishes that have been achieved, which you previously dreamed so much.” Ranum says.

“I just bought honda CRZ some time ago.” Henry replied.

Ranum nodded. “Do you still love that car? or do you already have a target to buy another car?” Ranum asked back.

“I'm saving to buy SLK 350 Young Master.” Henry spoke, enthusiastically.

“Are you happy during the process of raising money to buy the car?” Ranum asked back.

Henry shakes.

Ranum smiled. “How many times do you wash your CRZ in one month?”

“I wash the car once every two months, sometimes once every three months Young Master.” Henry replied.

“How many times did you bring the car to check into the workshop?” Ranum asked back.

“From the beginning of the purchase, I have never taken the car to the Young Master's workshop.”

“Then what will happen to your CRZ when you already have SLK?”

“Maybe I will sell it Young Master or I will use it for a day – days, alternating with SLKku.” Henry replied.

Ranum laughed a little. “That's the problem. You and I are the same – just can not appreciate the process. You save months – months to get your achievements. When you have got your wish, you will waste – your achievement and move on to the next achievement that you will not necessarily not waste – siakan later. Just like me, because from childhood I was too easy to get money, so I never appreciated the money I had. I never worked for money. Even if I refuse all the tasks my family has given me, the money will always flow for me. I'm willing to accept the slightest assignment from my family because I'm trying to enjoy every process. I really appreciate my results or achievements, but I'm learning to appreciate and be happy about the process. I can't appreciate money yet, but I'm trying to appreciate everything I do. Because it makes me have a little purpose in life. Although I know my current life purpose is not good.” Ranum down his scotch.
