Chapter 4 Relapse

Aurel was silent with a blank look on her bed. After ending his and Alex's call, he doesn't know what to do. 

His parents have not stopped arguing since. Aurel just listened very tired, how did the two of them keep yelling at each other?

Aurel stared at his bruised arm as he touched himself. The heavy hemophilia he was experiencing really bothered him. Even a subtle touch could leave bruises on his body. People would think Aurel was experiencing verbal abuse. Though no one did violence to him, this was only because of the hemophilia he experienced.

The girl began to feel pain all over her body. He was tired, because since earlier struggling with the design of his graduation dress later. Even if the graduation ceremony is still a long time, the girl wants to prepare her dress from now on. Because she wanted her dress to be the best. And what happened was that Aurel was exhausted from being busy designing her dress.

Aurel felt a salty taste in his mouth. As he remembered he had not eaten anything since, was this .... again? Aurel hope this isn't blood.

Aurel picked up the mirror on the nightstand, as the mirror was right in front of her face, the girl let out a small sigh as she looked at the blood coming out of her mouth. He thinks his gums are bleeding, again. This is what Aurel always experiences when exhausted.

If the gums are bleeding, it will soon be followed by nosebleeds. This is also his fault for forcing a dress for hours, even though he knows hemophilia cannot be exhausted. It's just that Aurel wants to be like the other teenagers who are free to do anything. But truth? Aurel actually had to limit his activities so as not to fatigue. Because if he is exhausted then his hemophilia will recur.

Aurel then went to the bathroom with shaky steps, the girl pushed her dresser chair with her legs into the bathroom. Because he couldn't have lifted it if he didn't want the bleeding to get worse. Although by pushing using the legs, his legs also bruised, at least no blood came out.

After the chair was directly in front of the sink, the girl sat down and vomited blood that filled her mouth. If it had been like this, the girl would have stayed in the bathroom for quite a long time until the blood stopped coming out of her gums. It may not take too long if the hemophilia has not reached severe hemophilia status.

“Until when will I be like this?" aurel asked while sighing softly. The girl threw the tissue into the blood-filled bin.

His gums continue to bleed, if this is how should he spend the night in the toilet? Just imagining it makes Aurel tickle. The toilet will be very cold at night. A coldness that would be very piercing into his skin.

The girl clucked, as a chill ran down her nose. Should we go out together? Why not wait for the one to finish first? Why not just go out, or not at all? Really sucks!

Aurel then grabbed the toilet paper on her right. And it was directly used to clog one of his noses that was bleeding. Aurel had to do it alternately on both noses, as he needed one of them to stay open to breathe. 

His state was completely chaotic, his mouth was covered in blood due to his bleeding gums. Now it just increases with nosebleeds. Do not forget the pain that controlled her knee since she drew the design of her dress earlier. Complete already the suffering of Aurel.

If you look at it, between the right and left knees have a difference in size. The left knee was much bigger, Aurel felt it was swollen again. He had to wear a toad or skirt so that it did not attract the attention of people when Aurel came out of the house later.

 All the symptoms that Aurel has experienced since six years ago were diagnosed by doctors with severe hemophilia due to genetic factors. Aurel's parents, Papa, also had hemophilia. It's just still light in status.

Actually the girl was used to it, only she was still often upset when her disease recurred at a less precise time like this. If this did not happen Aurel could definitely finish the design of her dress.

Aurel thought, maybe this relapse is not only because of fatigue, but also because it has been the last four months not to see a doctor. He should not be reckless to miss the control schedule, just because of laziness or busyness.

It felt like Aurel wanted to shout loudly in this kind of situation. Just now he felt relieved because Alex heard his complaints, now even his disease relapsed. His mood was really made like a roller coaster.

His sense of regret grew when the toilet paper was used up to wipe the blood coming out of his mouth and nose. He was not imagined, as much as his blood came out. He may be deficient or even bleed out.

Inevitably he had to go to his study table to take stock of tissues. Aurel approached her study table with a slightly dragged step, due to her swollen legs. He then returned to the bathroom with three packets of tissue. Aurel thinks that'll be enough.

Anyone who saw Aurel's current condition would definitely grimace from the smell. His eyes were sebam from crying for a long time, not to mention the blood that was constantly coming out of his gums and nose. Don't forget her swollen legs with a color that starts to turn blue. His condition is really concerning.

However, his parents did not even intend to see Aurel's condition after a big fight earlier. The girl always felt alone. Only Alex understood him. 

Her mother never even cared about what she was going through. Her father may have been tired of dealing with her mother's behavior, so he was less able to pay attention to Aurel. Aurel understood his papa's feelings.

After spending a total of three packets of tissue, eventually the bleeding in the nose and gums began to subside. Although still out, but not as much as before. That was quite a relief for Aurel.

The trash can in the bathroom was already full of red tissue due to the blood. Aurel did not care, and did not think about it at all. He can throw it away later, now the most important thing is that the bleeding stops first. Because it really bothers him.

After nearly two hours in the bathroom, the bleeding stopped. Aurel's back doesn't feel like a back, it's really stiff. How not? He sat continuously for a long time.

After washing his nose and gargling, Aurel returned to his room. Aurel was walking limping because of her swollen legs.

The girl dropped her body on the bed. Finally, slowly but surely the girl closed her eyes.
