Chapter 26 Looking for Aurel

(Finding Aurel)

Because of Nafa's request for help, Alex helped lift the item they asked for. After putting the item down, Alex wants to go to the living room. But, Nafa asked him continuously to upset Alex. This girl was like she was holding him back to stay here. Alex is very angry with Nafa, but is not comfortable with Vanesa who has behaved and treated him and Aurel well.

Vanesa was making a cake with Nafa making the cake dough. From now on, Alex saw the way Vanesa, if it was soft Alex would try it for Aurel. Because, the girl really likes a soft texture. Alex was even preoccupied with his thoughts without hearing Nafa's question.

“Can I help you again?” alex asked when he saw Nafa wanted to throw another question at him.

“No, you better go back to the front. I'll catch up with Nafa later after this is done.” Vanesa's reply made Alex smile faintly.

He finally got away from Nafa. Alex did not really feel at home near Nafa, because the girl was trying to get close to him. She is Aurel's, there will be no girl who will snatch her from Aurel or even try to shift Aurel's position in his heart.

“Good, Mom. In that case, Alex excuse us to go ahead first.”

Seeing Alex saying goodbye and leaving, Nafa becomes upset. Though he wanted Alex to be here, not in front to accompany Aurel. Nafa knew, if he was compared to Aurel. Then he will lose, Aurel will be the winner. Because, the girl has it all, from a beautiful face, funny and also rich. It's perfect to be with the handsome Alex. And himself? Oh no, the difference is so far away!

“Nafa?!” call Vanesa with a slight shout and pat Nafa's dreamy shoulder.

“What? What's up, Mom? Why yell?” asked Nafa consecutively after waking up from his daydream.

“Mom should have asked. What are you thinking until daydreaming?” asked Vanesa in surprise.

Vanesha had called Nafa many times, but there was no word from Nafa. Whereas before, Nafa was the person who most never daydreamed. Because, if there's something Nafa will tell her.

“I didn't think of anything, Mom. Is the cake ready?” tanya Nafa shifted the topic of conversation.

“Already, let's take it to the front.”

They brought the cooked cake forward. There, Alex was pacing around looking for something.

“Alex? Looking for what?” asked Vanesa in surprise.

Alex's face contained worry and panic. What makes Alex panic like this? Thought Vanesa.

“Aurel, Mom. When I stay in the kitchen and I come back again, Aurel is no longer here.”

The girl was apparently the one who could make Alex panic like this. Think Nafa. He also wants to be in the position of Aurel, which Alex always takes care of as well as possible.

“Didn't Aurel say he wanted to go with Farel? Did he go to follow Farel?” 

Hearing Nafa's words, Alex clenched his hand. If that's true, what attracted Aurel to Farel? 

“I'd like to find Aurel yes, Bu.”

“I'm coming!” pekik Nafa follows Alex.

They're currently in Alex's car looking for Aurel. Nafa actually went with Alex, not wanting to argue for now, Alex allowed it.

“Alex, we will find Aurel to where?” nafa asked Alex.

“Do you know the way to get to the boutique store where Farel works?” ask Alex back. His eyes stared straight ahead, his hands clutching the steering wheel tightly until the veins in his hands protruded. 

“I know, I'll direct you.”

Alex drives his car following directions from Nafa, not caring about Nafa glancing at him. Now the most important thing is Aurel. Besides, Alex doesn't care about anything anymore.

Nafa occasionally glanced at Alex, he could see the veins of Alex's hand that protruded as a result of gripping the steering wheel tightly. And it makes Nafa misbehaved, he so imagine what if he became Alex's lover. It will definitely be a lot of fun and his life will be even better, considering Alex is a rich and royal.

Accidentally, his eyes caught Farel's silhouette with Aurel who was in the man's arms. If Nafa tells Alex, he'll be angry. Nafa was sure of that!

“That's them!” show Nafa.

Alex stopped his car, he followed Nafa's finger. There, there was Aurel who was unconscious in Farel's arms. Actually seeing it makes Alex's heart heat up, but now Aurel's safety is more important than his jealousy.

Alex opens the car door, he approaches Aurel and Farel. His hand took over Aurel to be in his arms.

“How can Aurel be like this?!” alex asked Farel with anger.

“I don't know. The girl herself who followed me and whined to deliver back because she was tired, but I did not ask her to come with me.” 

Farel's indifferent answer certainly made Alex growl in anger. But Farel was a little worried about Aurel. Recalling from earlier Aurel whined then unconscious.

It was very desirable for Alex to punch Farel in the face who spoke like that. Aurel is his world, Alex doesn't want it to happen until something bad happens to Aurel.

Alex carried Aurel and took him to the car. Finished putting Aurel in his side seat, he started running his car to get to the hospital. Alex leaves Nafa and Farel there. Nafa clenched his hands in annoyance, this was not his goal. He thought Alex would be angry with Aurel later, but he wasn't.

On the way, Alex drives with one hand. Next to his hand he used to hold Aurel's unconscious hand, his heart ached to see Aurel's condition like this. Usually, if they are with this girl will ask her random questions that are very silly. But not now, this girl was busy sleeping.

“Aurel, don't worry me anymore with your condition.” murmured Alex.

Alex carries Aurel's hand which he holds for kissing. Even this girl's normally warm hands, this time it felt cold. Alex is scared, once Mario knows this. He will not be allowed to reunite with Aurel. He can't get far with Aurel.

Alex releases his hand with Aurel. He ruffled his hair with overflowing emotions. How could he be negligent to look after Aurel? Even now the girl was injured due to her carelessness. He hoped that this incident would not happen again, he would take better care of Aurel.
