Chapter 22 Eating Together

“Farel?” aurel muttered as he saw a man enter the house with sweat flooding his face.

Aurel thought. How could Farel be here? What was the man's relationship with Nafa and Vanesa?

Farel was no less surprised when he saw Aurel. “Aurel, how can you be here?” farel asked Aurel.

“I? I was invited to play here by Sister Nafa,” replied Aurel who was still wondering in his mind.

Farel turned to Nafa who was sitting not far from Aurel's place. Since when did this brother know Aurel and also the man who was beside Aurel?

“You know each other?” tanya Nafa looked at Aurel and Farel's conversation.

“I've known Aurel. At that time, at night he went to the Supermarket to buy two packs of chocolate. However, Aurel did not bring any money and I paid for it.”

Hearing the answer from the man in front of him, Alex looked at Aurel for Aurel to explain what Farel had said.

Aurel's out for a night to buy chocolate? Why didn't Alex know about this? And, why didn't Aurel ask her to accompany him to the supermarket?

“Aurel has agreed, how about Alex?”

“Alright, let's go to the kitchen. And Farel, before you go back to the store, come eat with us,” said Vanesa with an invitation.

Because, usually Farel will be difficult if invited to join a stranger or person they just knew. 

Farel nodded, he agreed with his mother's invitation. Farel wanted to eat with them, because Aurel was there. His curiosity for Aurel was growing. Especially with the man who was beside Aurel.

The man's treatment of Aurel seemed to show that they were very close. Farel looked at Alex with envy. Does that mean that the car in front of his house belonged to that man? If so, they deserve to fit in. Farel had already guessed that Alex and Aurel had the same caste of clothes.

Alex and Aurel were dressed in very expensive branded clothes, and the money was enough for him to go and get home from work on public transport for a few weeks.

Now they are sitting in a chair in the kitchen. Although the kitchen was not large, but it was enough for them to occupy. They ate Vanesa's cooking even though Alex hesitated to eat it, as he and Aurel never ate this. But, because he did not want to make Vanesa disappointed. Alex took a bit of that cooking for him and also for Aurel.

“Do you guys want to try this? This is us who made it,” said Nafa offers a plate containing crackers.

Aurel was a little interested in seeing that. His hands drifted to take some of the crackers to try them, as he had never eaten anything like this.

When he wanted to put the cracker in his mouth, Alex held it in and took the cracker from his hand. Aurel looked at Alex with a stare.

“Kok taken?”

“You can not and should not eat foods like this Aurel,” said Alex forbid, he took bread for Aurel again.

Aurel was tired of eating the bread Alex prepared for him, he wanted to try new flavors like those crackers. Alex still wouldn't allow it. The man was very possessive, just like his father.

Farel who saw and heard the incident snorted in annoyance. What does that man mean? Is he mocking his crackers? What's wrong with trying this? Farel wanted to punch Alex's handsome face. However, I don't know why his arm couldn't be moved.
