Chapter 17 With Alex

On the way, Aurel just stared at the streets and Alex who was focusing on driving. Silence was between the two of them.

No one started talking, neither Aurel nor Alex. Aurel who was thinking a lot of random things in her brain and Alex were awkward.

Alex cleared his throat to dispel the uneasiness that had arisen within him.

"Alex," called Aurel who finally opened his voice.

Without realizing it, Alex breathed a sigh of relief to hear Aurel making a sound. From now on, Alex kept holding his breath and exhaled slowly. Because, the atmosphere he thought was awkward in his car.

"Yes? Do you want anything?" ask Alex to offer.

Hearing Alex's offer, Aurel thought. What would he ask for? Aurel had even asked for a lot today, but Alex was not tired of giving him an offer.

"Why do you always make me an offer? Though there is much I have asked for" Aurel replied in surprise.

"It doesn't matter, as long as I can grant your wish."

Aurel looked at Alex with sparkling eyes, she was moved by Alex's statement. This is what Aurel likes about Alex, the man is always there when Aurel is in need.

"Thank you, Alex!" aurel hugged Alex's burly arm, too happy to hear it all.

Alex's body freezes into a hug from Aurel. His heart was not conditioned, this was too sudden for him. Alex is trying to control his body.

Her hands were raised to stroke Aurel's wavy hair. Aurel smiled making her dimples appear, seeing that Alex was eager to pinch Aurel's cheeks.

"You look funny if you smile like this" Alex said honestly from his heart.

Aurel's cheeks flushed red, he knew the meaning Alex spoke. Alex has said that many times, and Aurel is not used to it, he will still misbehave.

"Of course, watch your way. Don't tease me like that" Aurel replied in a soft tone. He's so embarrassed!

Alex chuckles at Aurel's unchanging demeanor, still as funny as ever. He wanted to bite Aurel's cheek, because it was too funny.

"So, what do you want?" alex repeated the previous question.

"I want to go to the supermarket to buy something, can I?" aurel asked making Alex nod steadily, "Can."

"But you paid for it, huh?" Alex nodded his head once more. After all, his money would definitely only decrease a little. According to Alex, Aurel if asking for something to him must be what Aurel asked for it is very easy to be granted.

"Of course, isn't that like every day?" ask Alex who was directly dikayakan by Aurel. Alex always did what he wanted.

Alex stops his car in front of the supermarket at Aurel's request. They got out of the car and started to enter the supermarket.

"Alex, would you like some ice cream?" aurel asked with hope, but his hope was dashed as Alex shook his head.

Aurel walked away from Alex by stomping her legs irritated. He will choose other foods, of course he will take a lot.

After they finished buying the food, they headed to the cashier with a full basket that Alex had brought.

Alex doesn't matter, it's not going to reduce a lot of his money. After paying, they got into the car.

"Alex, thank you!" aurel yelled at Alex who was closing the car door.

"Yes, same sa-"

The two of them were just frozen in place, Aurel would not have expected it to happen like this.

Alex dares to kiss Aurel's lips. For a moment, there was no movement. He just put his lips together. Of course Aurel was surprised by Alex's sudden actions.

Looking at Aurel who was just silent, Alex tried to melu_mat Aurel's lips slowly. Aurel did not refuse, he accepted it by closing his eyes. Alex's hand was already at Aurel's waist to pull him closer, with Aurel's hand squeezing the end of Alex's shirt.

Both of them are swept away by the activities that are being done. Seeing that Aurel was about to run out of breath, Alex moved away from Aurel's face. 

"Sweet," chirped Alex looking at Aurel fondly. 

Aurel could not hide her flushed cheeks. He hugged Alex, hid his face in Alex's field.

"Alex, I'm embarrassed!"

Suddenly, Alex chuckles at Aurel's very honest confession. He cupped Aurel's cheek to look at her.

"You're so sweet, Aurel. Is this because of the ice cream and chocolate you eat often?"

Aurel nodded her head. "It's possible, and you have to buy me more chocolate and ice cream to make me sweet" Aurel replied.

Alex pinches both cheeks of Aurel. He started running and running his car. Alex's mind was still in the shadows with what he and Aurel were doing, until they did not realize they had reached Aurel's house.

"Alex, stop!" aurel's strangling makes Alex stop his car abruptly.

"What's wrong?" ask Alex who is surprised.

"You passed my house," Aurel replied staring at Alex in annoyance. It's appropriate that from now on Alex was silent while looking forward, it turns out that the man was daydreaming.

Alex rewinds his car, and puts it in Aurel's yard. As they got out of the car, they could hear the sound of people squealing and the occasional sound of smashing things from inside the house.

Aurel knew it was his parents fighting. He became uncomfortable with Alex because he had to hear this fight, Alex should not have visited here. Aurel was afraid after this he would be shunned.

"Alex, I'm sorry it looks like you can visit next time" Aurel said unkindly.

Alex understands Aurel's feelings, but he is unlikely to leave Aurel when his parents are fighting. Aurel must be sad, and he should be able to comfort her.

"Why?" alex asks, Aurel is confused to answer how. Hearing the commotion from inside the house, did Alex not also understand?

"Why do you prefer to go through all this on your own?" alex asked again.

Aurel understands now. To be honest, Aurel was very lonely and needed a friend to hear his grievous story. But Aurel felt he had told Alex a lot. He didn't want to make the man a problem.

"You don't have to feel bad for me. Tell me if you have a problem, do you still make friends with me for years and still make you awkward?"

Aurel was made to shut up with Alex's question, he just silently looked at Alex.

"I just don't want to make you bother," Aurel replied guiltily.

Alex has been very good with him, just listening to his story is enough for him. But Aurel doesn't want to keep telling Alex. Fear gets the man into his trouble.

"That's it, don't think about it. Next time you tell me everything, I'll be a good listener to you. What if we go to the kitchen? I'll make you your favorite porridge."

Aurel nodded, they went inside Aurel's house and went straight to the kitchen without having to interfere in Mario and Carramel's quarrel.
