Chapter 27 Angry

After Aurel realized, Alex had just notified Mario. He does not want to tell Mario the girl is still unconscious, he is afraid Mario will be angry. Yes, although later will also be angry, but at least not to get angry because he saw his son was aware.

“Halo, what's up Alex?”

Mario's voice made Alex stiffen, to be honest he was hesitant to tell this. Afraid that later, Mario will be furious. But Alex doesn't want to be irresponsible.

“Om Mario, Aurel relapsed from being too exhausted,” replied Alex who managed to make Mario across was surprised.

Though just this morning he saw Aurel who was cheerful because he wanted to go for a walk with Alex. But, this afternoon? He got word Aurel relapsed, how could not be surprised.

“How can Aurel fatigue? I'll be home soon now.”

After saying that, Mario disconnected their phone connection. In his office, Mario immediately tidied up his work files, then went home.

Alex went to the kitchen to get Aurel to eat, then back into the room, he sat next to Aurel who was watching a movie on his room television.

“Aurel,” call Alex by stroking Aurel's hair. Aurel simply replied with deheman as he was busy watching.

“Eat first, yuk!” take Alex.

Aurel immediately shook her head and closed her mouth. He did not want to eat, his mouth was bitter and surely the food would taste bitter as well.

“Come on, you want to heal fast right?” alex asked with Aurel.

“Yes, but later my mouth will taste bitter, Alex!” aurel protested with whining.

“You want me to try it first?” Alex put a mouthful of porridge in his mouth. It feels a little savory and not too bland.

“It's very good, you sure don't want to eat?” ask Alex again. Aurel still shook her head.

Alex sighed seeing that, he had no other choice. Alex put a mouthful of porridge back in his mouth. Then he pulled the nape of Aurel to hold their lips together, Alex pushed the porridge straight into Aurel's mouth.

“How? Delicious, right?” 

Aurel was silent. He was still shocked by the incident that had just happened, his mouth swallowed the porridge that was already in it.

“Alex!” aurel choked Alex on the shoulder many times.

However, the blow had no effect on him at all. Alex caught both of Aurel's tiny hands still hitting him, then he put them in his mouth. Alex kissed her at a glance.

“Don't hit me like that, later your hand hurts.”

Aurel is made to float with the treatment and words of Alex are very sweet. A red hue was present on Aurel's cheeks.

“Aurel!”

As Alex let go of Aurel's hand upon hearing the scream, he was shocked. Mario goes into his daughter's room, he sits near Aurel making Alex step aside.

Aurel is pulled into Mario's arms. “Papa worries about you, next time you shouldn't be exhausted or Papa won't let you go anywhere anymore, okay?” ask Mario.

Aurel immediately protested. “Aurel promises not to be exhausted anymore, but don't forbid Aurel to come out. Aurel will be bored if being at home continues.”

“Alright, does Papa need to hire some guards to keep an eye on you?” 

“If you don't want to, then you should really take good care of yourself.”

Aurel nodded his head, this was better than he had to be escorted out of the house.

“Alex, why can't you keep Aurel so well? Didn't you promise me before you left to bring Aurel home all right?”

“Sorry, Om.” Alex doesn't know what else to say but to apologize. Since he realized this was also his fault, he was too careless in guarding Aurel.

If only at that time they did not serve Nafa who invited to chat, surely Aurel would not be hurt like this and they are now definitely having fun. It's all his fault.

“Om knows you are a responsible and trustworthy man. Therefore, Om allows you to take Aurel away. But, look at it now. You didn't do your promise,” Mario said with emotion.

No matter if the one in front of him is Alex, Mario will fight anyone who dares to hurt his daughter. Aurel is Mario's only precious treasure, he wants to keep Aurel laughing and cheerful.

“If it is like this, I will not hesitate to keep you away from Aurel.” 

Alex was surprised. If Mario scolds him or beats him, Alex will accept it because it is his fault. However, he cannot accept it if Mario will keep Aurel away from him. 

For Alex, Aurel is his world. His life would be hollow if there was no Aurel by his side.

“Do not, Om! Don't keep Alex away from Aurel, after this Alex promises to take good care of Aurel. And this incident will not be repeated again,” said Alex pleading.

Mario looks like he's thinking. Maybe it would have been great if he had given Alex a second chance, let this be a lesson for Alex. After all, they'll be betrothed soon, won't they?

“Good. But if something like this happens again. Om will take Aurel away from you.”

Alex nodded steadily. He won't let Aurel get hurt again because of him. Alex will take care of Aurel and treat him well.

“Om trust you.”

Mario patted Alex twice on the shoulder, then went out of the room. Alex breathed a sigh of relief, he sat back down beside Aurel.

“I don't want to be away from Alex,” said Aurel who immediately hugged Alex's arm with a vibrating body, he wrapped his head on Alex's strapping shoulder.

Aurel is afraid of Mario's words that will make them far away, he does not want to lose Alex. Only Alex could he tell her a story of relief.

Alex stroked Aurel's hair, he released Aurel's embrace on his hand. Alex wiped away the girl's tears, then hugged her tightly. 

“Don't cry, I don't like it if there are tears running down your cheeks. Om Mario was just kidding, he couldn't keep you away from me.”

Alex tried to calm Aurel down, his hand stroking Aurel's back. Alex kissed Aurel's forehead. The girl looks comfortable in Alex's arms giving her warmth, she is leaning against Alex's chest.

They were silent for a moment, there was no sound. Aurel's cry had stopped, and now he was sleepy from crying.

“I'm sleepy, can you accompany me to sleep? Next to me?” 

Despite the hesitation, Alex nodded his head. He helps Aurel to lay down his body, and he sleeps next to Aurel with his hands bearing the girl.

Aurel hugged Alex's neck loading the man froze for a moment. Nervous of being in this position, Alex began to wrap his hands around Aurel's waist.
