Chapter 37 - The Ice that Melts

Sherena went down in a company whose tall buildings were towering with many windows everywhere. The girl was amazed by the magnificent building, she did not expect that the lover had such a big company.

"Wait a minute, don't focus wrongly. Come on in, remember your purpose, sheren." Sherena said, he stepped slowly while continuing to look in amazement at the towering and luxurious building. 

The girl walked into the lobby and walked towards the receptionist who was smiling kindly welcoming her.

"Excuse me, sis. I want to meet Mr. Darren." Sherena said awkwardly. Because, he came here alone with different clothes from the people in the office. They wore the same uniform, sky blue and neat span skirts. While the man looks neat with a shirt with a tie that hangs neatly too. 

Their hair is neatly combed, they also look very disciplined. It is clear that Darren is a wise and decisive leader. 

"I'm sorry, did you set the schedule before?"

"Eemm, you mean sis?" Sherena asked, making the receptionist smile little at the innocence of the girl in front of her.

"Look, if you want to meet with Mr. Darren, Miss must arrange a schedule first, considering that Mr. Darren is a busy person, Miss. So, does Miss have an appointment?" Her question again made Sherena confused, what should she answer?

"Emmm.."

"Miss Sherena?" Asked a tall strapping man, a neat black suit stuck perfectly on his body. 

"L-yes, sir.."

"Let's come with me, Mr. Darren is waiting for you." Andy said, Sherena nodded her head. 

"If he's here, you don't have to ask. She's Mr Darren's girlfriend, okay? Record and remember his face and name. Sherene."

"Good, sir." Andy gave a small nod and left, while Sherena just stared innocently at the two.

"I'm sorry, Miss. I didn't know you were Mr. Darren's girlfriend, sorry to make things difficult for you."

"It's okay, brother." Sherena replied with a friendly smile.

"Come, Miss." Invite Andy, Sherena nodded and followed behind Andy. 

"Include me, my name is Andy Mahendra, Miss can call me Andy or om, whatever you want. I am Mr. Darren's personal assistant." 

"Aaaa yes, hello to Om."

"Greetings again, Miss." Answer Andy. With a smile that looks very forced even make Sherena laugh. Andy, who always shows a flat face, now has to force his smile when he meets the lover of the boss.

The two of them came out of the elevator booth, Sherena tailed behind Andy. Accidentally, while in the second corridor passed Sarah who was out of nowhere. 

The woman looked at the cynical look of a little girl, her appearance was very simple. Only wearing jeans, oversize shirts, which are wrapped in jeans. Her hair in the ponytail, her appearance was really simple. 

But why did he come with Andy? Who is that girl? That's what makes Sarah curious about the simple figure that follows behind Andy, who incidentally his flatest man in this company after Darren of course his. 

Andy paid no heed to the sharp glare that Sarah gave, while Sherena greeted with a small smile. Sarah simply replied with a smile that looked very forced. 

"Please come in, Miss. Mr. Darren is inside." 

"Good, Om. Thank you for bringing Sheren here."

"Together, it's my duty Miss." Andy answered kindly. The man leaves after seeing Sherena enter Darren's room. He prepared to leave, but again the female snake appeared. 

"Well?" Ask Andy. 

"What, who?"

"It's none of your business, just take care of your work. The less you know, the longer you'll be." Andy answered with a brush. But Sarah shouldn't have to ask anymore, right? He himself saw the girl enter Darren's room.

"Alright, 'cause that guy won't tell, so I'm gonna figure it out myself." Sarah murmured, she'll find out for herself later.

While in the room, Sherena immediately approached when she saw Darren face down on the table. 

"Darling.." call the girl, she runs over. Darren looked up, then smiled when he saw his girl actually coming. 

"You're really coming, baby?"

"Yes, of course I came at your request, baby." Answer Sherena. The man moved from his seat, then pulled Sherena's hand to the sofa that was available in Darren's room.

"Sit down, baby." Pinta Darren, Sherena said. He sat down then Darren immediately lay on the girl's lap. 

"Please massage this, baby. It hurts.." 

"Yes.." Sherena replied, she also lightly scratched the man's forehead. 

"You have a fever, baby. Have you taken medication?" Ask Sherena.

"It was from Andy." Darren lirih replied. She chose to stick her face on Sherena's flat stomach. The girl rubbed Darren's head making the man feel at ease. He liked Sherena's gentle touch.

"I want to sleep, baby."

"Sleep, I'll wake up, baby. Have you eaten?" Sherena asked as she continued to rub the lover's head.

"Not yet, let Andy buy it. But I want her on bribe." 

"Yes, sweetheart. Now if you are spoiled for forgiveness, you are very jutek initially." Sherena's chirps, made Darren smile as she rubbed her face on Sherena's flat stomach.

"It's melting, baby."

"Wkwk, stop. Let's go to sleep, baby." Sherena said, Darren nodded and closed his eyes. Sherena leaned her back against the back of the sofa, she really did not expect that Darren had a company of this size. But, he was really spoiled at the moment. Was he always this spoiled when he was sick?

"His es have completely melted away.." Sherena muttered with a small smile. The man even pulled up the shirt that Sherena was wearing and rubbed on her stomach. Sherena couldn't resist even if she wanted to, because her taste was really amused. Moreover, the warm breath Darren felt hit the surface of his skin.

"Excuse me, Mr. Dar.." 

Sherena stared at the woman he had met in the corridor and entered the room, without knocking on the door. Sarah smiled cynically looking at Darren who was asleep on the lap of the girl. 

Fixed, right? Right, she's Darren's girlfriend. Just this time Sarah saw the guy like this on a girl.

"Sorry, madam. If you can, before entering knock on the door."

"Who are you? I've been here a long time and I'm used to going in without knocking on the door."

"Isn't that disrespectful? As an educated woman, you should know the grammar, right?" Sherena asked which made Sarah chuckle. 

"You have no right to rule me, little girl."

"Of course I'm entitled, because I'm the lover of your boss. Of course, I have a right to judge what my beloved employees are like." Sherena replied, she confirmed the word lover. Makes Sarah silent for a moment, but that doesn't mean she lost, does it?

Darren who had not fully fallen asleep was smiling a little. She was happy because her girl was able to answer with a beautiful answer, without having to harden her tone of voice but sound very firm.
