Chapter 36 - Darren Sick?

The handsome-looking man stared flatly at someone who was now standing in front of him, with his head bowed. She did not dare to look at Darren's face like her, rather she was scared. 

"Put your head!" Strictly Darren, then he straightened his head. But his eyes still unable to look at the face of the superior. 

"Explain, where is all the money from the client hmm? Why isn't it on the report?" Darren asked quietly, yet it sounded very piercing. 

Shut up, the woman is silent. He was confused as to what to say. He thought Darren was not monitoring his movements, but the man's spies were everywhere, even the man who had been the accomplice of the woman, it was a spy sent by Darren. So, there's no reason for that woman to be evasive, right?

"Excuse me, sir."

"Come in, Hani." The girl named Hani also entered with an actual money report, a real report that had not been manipulated by the woman. 

The two eyes of the woman bought, she was completely shocked by what she saw. He did not think that Hani was the one whom Darren had sent. In fact, all this time he was his accomplice. Unfortunately, he did not suspect the girl at all. 

"It's the financial statements of the finance division before it's manipulated." Darren took it from Hani's hand. The man's forehead frowned, if this was the correct report.

"This is the correct report, thanks to Hani."

"Together, Sir. Then, excuse me." Hani replied, Darren nodded and the girl came out of the room. The man smiled smirk looking at the woman whose face paled.

"Return the funds you deposited!" 

"T-sir, please give me some time." Please the woman named Mina, the woman has only served as chairman in the finance division for the past few months. After the finance division lost the lead, because she applied for leave because she was pregnant.

"Two days, if you don't return the money in two days, get ready to go to jail!"

"But, Mister. Where do I get that kind of money." Wiry of it, Darren chuckled. He looked at the woman.

"Pay with your life, deal?"

"Th-no, Mister. Please forgive me and my mistakes." 

"Then return the company's money immediately. Supposedly, you're given this kind of responsibility and trust, you're making good use of it, Mina." 

"I am guilty, sir. Sorry.."

"Give the money back immediately, I don't care where you get it from." Firmly Darren, Mina nodded her head. But, his head was spinning how did he get three billion dollars in two days?

"Don't try to escape, because my men will be watching you for 24 hours! So, if you don't want to die, you better pay off your debt or you'll be very sorry for daring to deal with me!"

"B-well, sir." Mina replied, she is scared at the moment. Really, the man who was currently standing in front of her was very much different from Darren whom she often saw. 

"Get out!" 

Mina came out with her head bowed deeply, thinking of where to get that kind of money in two days? He couldn't have sold himself to pay off his debt, right? 

"Where did I get that kind of money? Oh, my God, what have I done? Mina, you can only make trouble." Curse the woman, he regretted having acted without thinking about the consequences first. He was tempted with money, to make himself wretched. Not to mention, he felt betrayed by Hani. She is his secretary in the finance division.

So, it was only natural that the girl knew all her deeds. He also manipulates the financial statements to remove any traces, but Darren is too observant to see the slightest difference, with the ease with which he learns of fraud.

Darren sat back in his oversized chair, he closed his eyes while twitching his pained temple. Taking care of this kind of thing certainly makes his head dizzy, just a few months already dares to embezzle company funds. What if he served for years? The company may be bankrupt. 

Darren took his cell phone, he sent a message to the lover. I don't know, his head hurts so much. 

"Darling, can you come here? I need you so much, my head hurts." The contents of the message sent by Darren to Sherena.

Of course, Sherena who was having lunch in the cafeteria with her friends was immediately surprised to read the message sent by Darren. 

"Aaaa, my man why? This morning he was fine." 

"Why, Sher?"

"Now read.." Sherena showed me the contents of the message Darren sent.

"Well, there you go. Kasian the Om duren." April Saying.

"But how is my school?"

"Jude, thank you guys."

"Together, be careful on her path." Answer Sherena. The girl left the canteen. 

While walking, Sherena tried calling Darren's number. It took a few seconds for the man to pick up his phone. 

'Hallo, baby.'

"Send me his office address, honey. I'm there now."

'Yes, I sent it in a message. But, don't wear school uniforms, will you?' Ask Darren.

"Yes, I'll change clothes first. Patience, hold on a second."

'Hurry up, baby my head hurts so much. I need you.' 

"Yes, I'm on my way right now." Answer Sherena. Darren said the girl.

'Be careful on his path, dear.'

"Hey.." Sherena replied, he immediately went up to the motorbike ojek online that he still had time to order while walking earlier. 

"Speak sir, but stop first at the clothing store on the street xxx ya." 

"Good, Miss." His reply, Sherena also had opened a message containing the location of the office of the lover. 

The girl was really worried, she panicked to death when she found out that Darren was sick. It should have been, if he wasn't feeling well don't go to work. But even more astonishingly, this morning she looked fine right? Even had to throw it away earlier. 

While in the office, Darren felt his head getting sicker. He picks up the phone and contacts Andy, he is his personal assistant. The man went straight in when he got a call from his boss.

"Sir, are you okay?"

"My head hurts, Andy. Get me some medicine and some water." Pinta Darren, the man immediately took a glass of water and medicine to relieve the pain in his head. 

"This, sir."

Darren drinks it quickly, after feeling better he returns to give orders to his assistant.

"Andy, my lover will come here. Please welcome him to the lobby." 

"Love? Since when do you have a lover, sir?"

"Is this a good time to ask, hmm?" Tanya Darren makes Andy crybaby.

"Hehe, alright sir. I'm downstairs first, you've been better?"

"Yes, the pain is a little less now."

"Okay, then I'll excuse you." Andy came out of Darren's room. Unexpectedly, the man even crossed paths with a female snake. Who else if not Sarah, the woman with a menor appearance greeted Andy with a sweet smile that actually made Andy shudder in horror. He was scared when he saw the smile of that woman. 

"Where from?" 

"Have eyes, right? Don't see what, if I just walked out of Mr Darren's room?" Ketus Andy's.

"Well?"

"It's none of your business." Andy replied cynically, then immediately left the woman, he was sick of seeing her here. Indeed, the woman is very annoying plus flirtatious anyway, but her work is always neat and good. Maybe that's what keeps Darren from firing that unsettling woman.

"Ckkk, very flat anyway. Do I have to change course? I should be able to conquer Andy like he did." The woman muttered while smiling smirk.
