Level 34 - Lost

The sleeping Jackson began to feel something different when Smith was not there. He opened his eyes, sitting for a moment with both hands rubbing his eyes. He was still trying to gather all his consciousness to be truly one hundred percent. "Where'd he go these nights?" He looked at Smith's bed.

"Oh my God, I want to pee." Jackson got up from the bed, stepped out of the tent and walked to the river to urinate.

He walked slightly away from the tent to feel more comfortable. His attention was suddenly seized when he found Smith standing not far from where he was. He stopped his steps, something was wrong. The man was with a woman, not sure what they were doing.

"Who is that woman? Why is there a woman in the middle of a forest like this?" Jackson muttered, he kept paying attention. Obviously it wasn't Joanne, because Jackson could clearly see the woman's skin tone was whiter than Joanne's.

Jackson noticed that the woman began to move Smith towards the river to the waterfall.

"Something's wrong with that woman." Jackson quickly walked towards the direction they were, he slightly ran and went straight into the water to stop him. Smith patted her on the shoulder trying to stop Smith, but the man slapped his hand until he fell down and drowned in the river.

After successfully saving himself, Jackson approached the edge by trying to catch his breath. He was silent for a moment as breathing returned to normal.

Jackson was silent, his eyes staring in the direction where his partner had gone and lost sight of him.

"Where'd he go?" Jackson stepped to make sure, walking back into the river and approaching the waterfall. As soon as he entered, all Jackson saw behind the river was a stone wall from the cliff above him.

"No way, how did they get lost?" Jackson circulated his gaze, there was absolutely no gap capable of making one's body pass between them.

The day changed, and the dawn changed the color of the sky to a bright blue. Joanne awoke from her sleep as soon as the sunlight penetrated through the gap in the tent in place.

He opened his eyes, gathered his consciousness; then stepped out to breathe the fresh air of the green realm directly.

The cold morning air was so gushing, piercing to his bones. But the sunshine it gets, balances it all out.

Joanne turned her head towards Smith and Jackson's tent. The entrance was wide open, revealing the contents of an empty, uninhabited tent.

"They're both awake?" Joanne muttered softly. His eyes rolled around looking for the whereabouts of Jackson and Smith.

"But where did they go so early in the morning? Are they looking for breakfast?" Joanne approaches the riverbank and searches for the whereabouts of her two comrades. His eyes then caught the figure of Jackson sitting on the edge of the river near the waterfall.

"Jackson? What's he doing out there all alone?" Feeling strange, Joanne then decided to go to him.

"Jackson!" Calling her, the man turned to the direction of the voice and found Joanne walking towards him.

"What are you doing?" Joanne asked who stood nearby.

"Waiting for him to come back." Mumbled Jackson. Joanne raised her eyebrows confused, she did not understand the word 'she' which Jackson meant.
