Smith grimaced in pain as the wound in his hand returned. He moved slightly away so that his two colleagues did not see him in the injured state as he is today.
Jackson dyed so aware that the girl was almost pulled zombies towards the bottom. He sought Smith for help, but a very dark place made him unable to clearly see the man's figure.
"Friends, help me!" Shouts of Joanne who's getting panicked.
"Currently, I can't believe it." Think Jackson once found Smith missing from his surveillance. Jackson stood up and turned to the direction where Joanne was still hanging on the cliff there.
"I beg you! Help me!" Shouted Joanne again who started crying. He could feel the zombies starting to creep one by one pulling his body down.
Joanne gazes at the direction where Jackson stands, seeing Jackson intending to just walk away and let Joanne be a part of them, but her steps come to a standstill when her conscience says otherwise.
Jackson leaned over and stretched out his hand trying to grab his hand. "Hold my hand!" He shouted at Joanne who then tried to reach her hand.
Just a little more, and it worked! Joanne saved him. Jackson then pulls Joanne's small, light body, carrying it to the top.
Joanne heaved a sigh of relief once they managed to break free from the zombies they saw.
"Thank you for helping me." Joanne wiped her tears.
"It's nothing, just think of it as a sign of my gratitude because you've helped find the button." Jackson got up from his place, he cleaned his dirty clothes because he struggled with the ground.
Joanne smiled at him, she was happy that Jackson was also a good and easy person to work with.
"Now let's go find that button and we'll go after that jerk who just escaped! I'll teach him once I find him." Jackson's grunt now spread his gaze around.
"Who else if not the man we were with."
"He's not gone, he's still here." Joanne's attention was on Smith who sat down while enduring the pain.
"What's? You mean he's still here?"
"Yes. It's there." Joanne walked slowly followed Jackson behind her and crouched down near Smith.
"If you've been here since then, why would you just shut up and let me pick it up alone?!" Jackson's annoyance at Smith. The man did not answer and still endured the pain, his eyes closed.
"You hurt?" Joanne asked Smith, her hands outstretched about to pat her shoulder. But quickly Smith brushed it aside and looked up at him.
"I'm fine. Now you better show us the way to that button so we can get out of here!" Tukas Smith who then woke up slightly limped.
"All right." Joanne wakes up and looks for where the button is. Once he found the button he was looking for, he then pressed it which in an instant made a light break through between the darkness that enveloped them.
Their attention was fixed on the door that suddenly opened. As soon as the door opened, light from out there burst into where they were.
"Let's get out!" Joanne was preparing to step up.
"Wait!" Smith stopped his steps. Jackson and Joanne looked at him with puzzled looks.
"Wait what else?"
