The wall around them continued to move from its original position, Jackson no longer noticed the wall that continued to change its location. Now he and Laurence prefer to continue to focus on walking the right path that will take them to the Kane Collection they are looking for.
"I felt like I was walking without direction or purpose" Jackson murmured after a moment of silence. Laurence who was nearby turned towards him.
The old man was still faithfully in a supine position staring at the ceiling of the labyrinth which was only illuminated by the dim light along the way.
The old man was busy moving his index finger, drawing something in the air with smoke coming out of his finger.
"I know, it's because you didn't find the right path to the Kane Collection we're looking for, did you?" He returned to focus on the ceiling of the labyrinth he saw.
"Yes, that's it." Said Jackson.
The man continued to walk until he arrived at a fork in the road with one of the darker parts of the road compared to the road he was walking.
Jackson stopped his footsteps. At the same time, the wall that had been moving; now it stopped after forming the last road and closed all the access roads it could pass.
Jackson was silent, now there was only one way left; and that was the road that was right in front of him. The road was so dark with no lighting at all.
Laurence after feeling something was wrong, then immediately changed his position which was originally supine to prone. This old man really likes to change his position.
"Why stop?" Laurence asked, looking at Jackson.
"Something's wrong, why is it that only this dark path is left while the other path I can access is suddenly closed?" Jackson looked at Laurence with a puzzled look on his face.
"I don't know, I'm not very familiar with the illusionary spirit. We rarely even met each other, other than our living quarters which were far from each other; the illusory spirit also never invited me to come to visit his place. The only information I have is all I've told you." Laurence was obviously on him.
"So apparently.. So you don't know why all the roads are closed and only this one is left?" Jackson concluded, Laurence shook his head slowly in response.
Jackson was silent for a moment. Before long, he took a slow breath. "It seems like there is no other choice."
Jackson took out his light-horned deer crystal and used the crystal to light up his steps in order to arrive at the end and be free from where he is now. There is no other path that he can take.
"All right, let's go."
"Attent." The old man turned himself into shining smoke. Seeing Laurence's old grandfather turn out like this made Jackson remember the first time they met. At that time, Laurence looked like he was today.
"Come on." Laurence looked at him. Jackson nodded slowly, and Jackson and Laurence stepped into the darkness they had seen.
The two of them walked slowly, along with it; the wall behind them again moved following his walking direction.
"I can feel it." murmured Laurence softly. Jackson's focus turned to him who had just spoken.
"What?"
"Kane Collection we're looking for." The answer.
