Level 32 - Promise

Jackson nodded his head, confirming Joanne's utterance of what she felt. He really regretted the tap had said that he wanted to part with Charis when not at all.

"If what happened to me is beyond my expectations. At that time, I had just come home from the restaurant to pick up my cousin at his school. But as soon as I got there and was about to drive him home, unexpectedly someone was about to shoot me. But my cousin Kay was protecting me and getting her shot to finally freeze and vanish like you said. Then when I still couldn't believe what I was seeing, that's when Davian came and gave me a chance to help Kay again and set her free. Kay and I were close from the beginning. Kay already has no one but me in this world, as well as me who only has one. Therefore, I was determined to free him and bring him back." Smith clearly told me about it.

"Then, what about what you've been through yourself?" Jackson's question shifted focus on Joanne beside him.

"What happened to me. It all started when I came home from school and made a pact to meet at the gate with Neva. But just as I was about to approach her, the figure appeared and froze her to the point of disappearing just like you guys had. When I thought it was a dream and started crying, screaming and looking for Neva in all directions, Davian came and helped me, telling me he knew where Neva was. Neva was my best friend from childhood, and she helped me a lot and saved me when I was in a difficult time. I can't stay silent when I find out she was kidnapped and became one of those criminals." Joanne clenched her hands tightly, her emotions peaking as she remembered what had happened. He was really angry at those who had kidnapped Neva and brought her here.

The atmosphere created between them instantly changed melow, so they could feel what each other felt from their respective angles.

"We come with the same goal, let's promise to work together so that we can get back together with the people we care about." Jackson clasped the gun tightly in his hand, pointing it in their midst.

"It doesn't matter if one of us fails, as long as one survives and wins; then all this will end." Joanne remembered the rules of the game she read. His hand moved to point the gun in his hand towards Jackson's gun.

"Even if another dies, the remaining one must continue his struggle and put an end to this." Smith joined in, with all three of their pistols joined together in the same direction that signified the same goal, they promise to face it all together no matter what the risks are and no matter who wins in all this.

"With this promise, we will work together to the last blood." Jackson looked straight ahead. Joanne and Smith nodded steadily at her words, agreeing with Jackson's words earlier.

"Our journey has just begun, and it begins tonight; we will work together."
