Yuli did not want to suffer the same fate as Galih who was only used as a puppet by a pack of kades as the chairman of the Village Owned Enterprises (Bumdes). What does this mean for a central government program that seeks to advance the economy and well-being of every rural area with its Bumdes program? Because no matter how good the central government program with the brilliant program Bumdes, but if the government at the village level is not serious about implementing the program Bumdes, yes free! Mr. Seno as the village head, and Rico became the chairman of Bumdes and the owner of the Barokah Jaya E-Warong agency as a place to take basic food assistance or Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) for poor people in the village.

Flashbacks

Though the Non Cash Food Assistance, first came down to the village, in April 2017, it was handled by the Bumdes trade unit under the name of Agent E-Warong Mekar Jaya. Because Bumdes is also newly established, so for a while E-Warong agents Mekar Jaya, handled by three Bumdes administrators (Galih, Rico and Fitri).

With the operation of the Bumdes trading unit, Galih then began to set a strategy to revive other Bumdes business units. Galih continues to focus on animating the Bumdes program with a business unit that has been neatly arranged in AD/ART Bumdes.

The newly formed Bumdes in early March of 2017 is like a baby who has only been born a few months into the world. Like a new baby can crawl, when Bumdes requires volunteers to occupy several Bumdes business units, Galih is quite difficult to find other volunteers. Moreover, Mr. Seno as the head of government in the village, also did not want to issue funds as an honorary for the caretaker of Bumdes in the village.

When the Bumdes trading unit with its Mekar Jaya E-Warong Agent just crawled. One and a half years later, Mr. Kades lau founded a private E-Warong Agent under the name of Agent E-Warong Barokah Jaya.

The service and distribution of Non Cash Food Assistance which was originally handled by E-Warong Mekar Jaya agents, then by Pak Kades transferred to E-Warong Agent Barokah Jaya owned by his son Rico.

Galih's efforts in finding three managers to sit in the Bumdes trading unit with his E-Warong Agent were stalled.

Without the cash income from Agent E-Warong Mekar Jaya, which can be used as capital to revive Bumdes business units, Bumdes was unable to conduct business operations.

Galih's efforts in finding other managers to fill the Bumdes trading unit and the existing Bumdes units, in order to grow Bumdes in accordance with the expectations of the central government, are now stagnant.

With the switch of BPNT distribution which was originally under the Bumdes trading unit with its Mekar Jaya E-Warong Agent to Rico's Barokah Jaya E-Warong Agent, so for the following months Bumdes also did not have business activities anymore and cash income from BPNT distribution profit was stopped.

One year later, because of a cause that could not tolerate Galih anymore, eventually Galih was forced to resign his position as chairman of Village Owned Enterprises. With Galih's departure from Bumdes' board in November 2020, Galih's duties as Bumdes' chairman were completed.
