After 72 hours of searching KRI Nanggala 402, but never found, so on Sunday, April 25, 2021 TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto conveyed the information that KRI Nanggala 402 was declared missing and all its crew died.

With the official statement of the Commander of the Indonesian National Army, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia expressed its sorrow over the death of the 53 crew members of KRI Nanggala 402 who had died.

TNI AL has raised the status of KRI Nanggala 402 from lost contact/sampis to drowning/samyang.

This disaster shocked all of us, not only the family of 53 crew members or the family of golden sharks, as well as the large family of TNI AL, but also all the people of Indonesia.

We all Indonesian people express deep sadness for this disaster, especially to the families of the submarine crew. They are the best sons of the nation, the best Patriots guarding the sovereignty of the country.

All the best efforts of search and rescue have been and still will be done, for that let's all, we offer prayers and best wishes for the 53 best patriots guard of state sovereignty. And for all family members to be given patience, fortitude and strength.

After a search by the TNI and SAR team for 72 hours/three days, the submarine crew has not been found, so the family of the crew of submarine nanggala 402 can only resign and try sincerely for the disaster that befell the crew of the ship. The tears of the wives and families of the KRI Nanggala 402 crew flowed rapidly to accompany the departure of the husband to the realm of eternity.

The family seemed to have just realized the signal before the departure of their husband when they were about to carry out state duties a few weeks ago.
