Pentathrones
6. The Village of Amethyst [LAST]

"Hows it? You changed your mind?" ask Lukario, without expression. He did not mean to mock, but Kaylis was exasperated.

His frustration is not without reason. First, Lukario had made him feel scared when he was stalked in recent days - this man's apology was also careless.

Second, Kaylis, who had rejected Lukario's request outright, now could not help but regret his decision in this condition, and Lukario instead came at a very good time to embarrass him.

Kaylis stared at the nanar. His thoughts revolved around all the stories about the Kingdom of Gamara which were spelled out at length by Lukario at that time.

Just then, in the Zelicia Forest, Lukario once again took out her yellow irises, staring at Kaylis in a dazzling bright yellow light. "I'm the Child of Throne. As is generally known, I was in the lineage to devote myself to guarding the throne, appointing the king, for the sake of the kingdom." He explained it succinctly.

Kaylis was flabbergasted, not used to the yellow glowing eyes.

Lukario apparently realized it, so he said, "This eye is owned by the owner of the title Child of Throne. If I look at people with this," he points to his eyes, "I can measure the potential in people accurately, like a measuring instrument. I can tell right away who can be the next king."

Kaylis could not help but be amazed at being recruited specifically by a person who claimed to be Child of Throne. At least he didn't feel worthy. But other than that, he also had his own reasons for refusing. "I'm sorry, my answer is no."

Perhaps Lukario would ask, Kaylis immediately explained, "I never thought of leaving my village. Plus, like you've been through yourself, there's been a freak plague lately, I have to do something about it. Then, how could I possibly trust you just like that?

You said you could see my potential with those eyes, you should see that I'm not that stupid, right? If your way of approaching me and talking to me is this bad, at least show me evidence that you can be trusted. Not to mention, why is this suddenly so? The current King Unus team seems fine."

Kaylis spoke in full investigation, but in her last sentence, she immediately remembered that King Daniel had not been to Amethyst for the past month. However, even though something happened to him, there were still four other kings who were still healthy and full of laughter when visiting here a few days ago.

Lukario smiled wryly and half proud. "Of course I expected you to talk like that. I didn't choose the wrong person apparently, you do like to argue, making me think of the firebender Aleeya-si from Tim Unus who was chatty amazing."

He took out something from his pants pocket that was covered in forest edge grass. It was a silver emblem with a carving forming the symbol of the Gamara-sword Kingdom crossed by a rose. The emblem is held in a chain of equal luster.

"As a child of Amethyst Village, it's too much if you don't know this, right?" Lukario stared softly.

Kaylis recognized him in one glance. The emblem was made of the rare Silventium mineral pure that can only be obtained from one of the northern mines in the village of Amethyst. The silventium is nothing special. However, the stone was specially processed for only one benefit, namely an identification mark for officials in the palace. The reason is because of its characteristic....

Lukario drew his lips close to the emblem, and blew the wind on its surface. From the gust of wind that hit the emblem, it sounded a long whirring sound like a high-pitched violin sound, more or less quite melodious.

Silventium has the characteristic of being able to sing when exhaled by air.

"Alright I believe you're indeed the Gamara Kingdom's Child of Throne, but still, I have those reasons, so I still can't." Kaylis warned carefully.

Lukario put on a steady expression, as if she could already guess what Kaylis was going to say next, and she had already prepared her answer.

"If you care about the plague, then you should have accepted my offer. I don't know whether or not you've heard of King Daniel's rumors, and yes, the rumors are true, he's dying on his bed." The Lukario turned a little moody.

"Although we still have four other kings, it's useless. The king's team must perfect the five to be able to seal the dark forces of the Gamara Kingdom. The plague was one of the consequences of the escape of the dark forces - you must keep this a secret, only a few people in the palace can know.

For the past fifty years, the Kingdom of Gamara has been covering a pit of hell with a weathered wooden door that will somehow be destroyed, and the key may be stolen by the enemy at any time."

Lukario clearly sounds like he wants to postpone telling his detailed story for another time, while replacing it with a parable for the sake of their current speech.

Kaylis was stunned when she discovered a secret behind the plague, a plague that made her sleepless later. "It is precisely because of the plague that I still have to be here. I'm planning on starting my research to find a cure"

"Fifty years ago" Lukario cut off Kaylis's words, and continued, "If you read history, the kingdom of Gamara has been destroyed, then it will be, on the edge of the horn of destruction. The fallen kingdom of Algola has now stormed into the palace and cut off the neck of King Cedric who led Gamara.

But something happened, with the struggle of their last drop of blood, things turned around. Within minutes and with the army all dying, the Gamara Kingdom managed to repulse all of Algola's extremely powerful forces and had yet to be injured a single inch. As a result, the entire Kingdom of Algola was destroyed unceremoniously."

"Then, then?" Kaylis was eager to know the continuation. Then he cleared his throat with a reddened face when he realized that he was being carried away curious after behaving so ketus.

Lukario squinted her eyes and her lips raised in ridicule. "You think a win like that makes sense?" Lukario asked back. Kaylis was stunned and gulped nervously.

"What I want to tell you is, something big happened back then - which resulted in the Kingdom of Gamara being forced to be led by five kings - and as a result it is only starting to be harvested now. The plague was not random. And it's possible that the chaos will continue to grow - something other than the outbreak. You won't be able to handle it yourself as well as you can." Lukario spoke in a cold high tone.

"The solution is only one. I must assemble a new team of kings, you will be given training. Then when you are ready or pressed, you are appointed to the new king team, automatically sealing the dark forces, and done," he concluded. He scrunched up all his chatter on one goal point.

Lukario glared flabbergasted until his words were cut off. Kaylis, who had been sitting to keep a distance of three meters, now suddenly snatched the collar of Lukario's shirt with a terrible look. "Preasure your mouth. If you ask people for help, that's not the way, you don't know yourself. Just find there another king candidate, the heartless Child of Throne."

That's how Kaylis finally left Lukario just like that with emotions stirring.

Now the man who had made him so angry sat with an innocent face in the window of his room. Kaylis staggered down onto the floor filled with afternoon sunlight, and sat helplessly.

"If I ever got the throne, these villagers would just stare in disgust at me. Am I worthy to lead them?" Kaylis let out a bitter laugh, and Lukario once again let out those yellow eyes, still as dazzling as last time.

"Do you see the lights in these eyes? This bright light only appears if I see someone who has the potential to be a future king. I also examine the many values in you - I don't just choose people, and I have my own standards too - even if someone has the potential to be a king candidate, I wouldn't want to recruit him if his job was just a foot barge at home" Lukario said calmly.

"And again," Lukario raised the corner of her lips, "the people in this village are just in shock. Deep down, they don't hate you. I can see the level of trust people have in you, and the numbers are very good. I'm lucky to find a candidate like you, maybe there's only one in this country."

Kaylis was flabbergasted for a moment, then cleared her throat slowly, not expecting herself to be even more radiant at the words of Lukario.

Seeing Kaylis's blushing face, Lukario leapt into Kaylis' room, and knelt on one foot before the girl. "I'm sorry about all the disasters that happened here. We both know the cause of everything, right?

I know you love this village so much that you can't leave it. Sometimes you have to sacrifice to save what you love. I totally understand that. That's why I tried to get you to work together to finish it. You want to, right?"

Kaylis, with a trail of tears drying up on her cheeks, seemed to think for a moment. "I would if my mother had a good place, other than in this village. She won't be treated okay when I - who was considered evil by them - suddenly disappear with you, right?" he said, vaguely negotiating.

"That's an easy matter." Lukario answered without the slightest hesitation. "Alright, I'm sorry about what I said in Zelicia Forest back then." Lukario clasped Kaylis's hands tightly and stared with the irises of glowing yellow eyes.

Kaylis nodded slowly, covering up panic and misbehavior due to Lukario's treatment.

"Now....," with a changed voice echoed, Lukario said shahdu, "Kaylis Gronora, are you willing to lead this kingdom in the future, protect it wisely, and bring its people to prosperity and prosperity?"

Yellow light surrounded the two of them. Kaylis gasped and took a deep breath, then while exhaling, she replied, "Yes, I'm ready." Then, a shining yellow rope that let out a tinge of sparks, circularly contacted the hands of the two of them like shackles, and disappeared into a scattering of light.

"In this way, you're officially a candidate for king under my guidance."

The next hours, Kaylis cried in a horse-drawn carriage that crackled in the darkness of the night, breaking through the Zelicia Forest.

Lukario sat on the face of the open carriage, blown by the night wind that made his ears feel frozen, accompanied by the sound of the sound of horse legs. His head was so dizzy, he couldn't sleep. His body has never been in top shape again lately.

I don't know until when his already very weak body can survive. His main priority at this time was to quickly recruit new kings.

Before they left, Kaylis waited until her mother was picked up by a mob of palace troops - after being convinced thousands of times - while sobbing. Then, after the party went to take her mother, she cried even harder.

Her mother had agreed to work in the palace kitchen so that she could keep making cakes as she wished every day.

The clink of the glass bottle, which had been neatly packed in a giant bag with clothes and some important books, interspersed with the sound of a lump of Kaylis. Beside it lay a map of the territory of the Kingdom of Gamara whose territory was marked by numbers by the Lukario. It was the territory he would go to in search of a future king.

The Amethyst village with the number one was already crossed, a sign of the mission being completed. Then, next is number two, namely the City of Idaris, a water city separated by the Zelicia Forest with the Amethyst Village.

Kaylis had been crying for so long that her tears could not come out. He finally got up and sat down on his knees. Both of his hands were clenched tightly. In one long breath, he steadied his heart.

He must be strong and strong.
