📍 Amethyst Village, Gamara Kingdom
Kaylis wiped Uncle Tierre's forehead with a warm wet towel. The towel folded into a small patch, then placed on Uncle Tierre's forehead. Agrio, the little boy Uncle Tierre's son, looked at Kaylis sparklingly. Kaylis glanced back at him.
After tidying up his belongings and leaving a bottle of medicine for Uncle Tierre, Kaylis rushed aside and went home. That was when Agrio stood in his way cheerfully. Agrio raised his fist closer to Kaylis.
As Agrio's tiny fingers moved open, a glittering red gem was poking out in his palm that was too small to contain the gem. The jewel was still rough, surely the boy had carelessly picked it up from the mine.
"This is a gift for Kaylis for treating my father" Agrio said with a big smile. Her front teeth are one.
Kaylis ruffled Agrio's hair and took the jewel from his hand. "Thank you, Agrio. Take care of your father yes" replied Kaylis happily. "Don't mess around in the mines, danger you know. That's where the adults are, Agrio" he continued, pinching Agrio's cheek.
Kaylis stepped down the village road towards her home. Uncle Tierre was his last patient today. He breathed a sigh of relief when he realized that.
In recent times, many people have been sick. Medicine experts, including Kaylis, are a bit of a hassle.
He looked up at the bright orange sky, and the wind gently blew his face.
Comfortable.
The fence of the houses that Kaylis passed by decorated with gemstones. Everything glittered in the afternoon sun. Colorful, radiant, and pleasing.
Although the youth always come home with dirty and dirty clothes - most of them work in the mines - they actually carry expensive stones in ugly pockets that are carried on their backs.
Every now and then, Kaylis greeted the people she knew. Kaylis knows a lot of people. More precisely, he is famous. He has traveled throughout the village to treat the sick, especially the accident miners.
Amethyst Village.
Without this magical village, the Gamara Kingdom would lose most of its luster. Without the poor people working so hard here, the rich people out there would not be able to show off their expensive jewelry.
In the western quarry of the village, near Kaylis' house, golden seeds were scattered like they had no price. Kaylis even used to run there while playing throwing with Zivon, his friend since childhood, until they were familiar with the miners there.
His lavish crowns and thrones, the silver pillars of the palace, the glittering slippery floor... Kaylis dared to risk her head to ensure that all the noble objects were made with materials from the Amethyst Village.
Every afternoon when Kaylis pondered while walking home like this, quietly in her heart she was determined to prosper this village someday. He loved this village with all his heart.
Amidst the comfort of low boisterous rustling in the afternoon, Kaylis faintly heard the commotion on the main road. He ran a little towards the source of the sound. That's when he knew the cause.
King Unus Team.
They passed each other on their horses. On both sides of the road, the villagers were cheering cheerfully in their favor. It seemed that the five kings were having a routine visit. They were waving here and there full of smiles.
The Kingdom of Gamara, for whatever reason, is currently led by a team of kings. There were King Aeleya, Baron, Celia, Daniel, and Egorius.
Aeleya, the firebender of Pirkagia descent, looked striking as her friendly smile shone most in the line. Baron. Very stingy smile, fierce, and pouting continues. He's full of muscle and big height.
Celia, the ice controller of Pagora's descendant from the north, was not much different from the Baron. She is a beautiful woman, but very cold. Then Daniel was the sternest and most wrinkled king. He was called the king of kings. Strong aura. Daniel also carried a sword everywhere. On his face was an elongated scar on his right cheek.
In the distance, Kaylis climbed onto an idle horse by the side of the road. He narrowed his eyes to look at the royal entourage. Then, he realized something.
The king's team was only four.
Again.
King Daniel does not exist. This was already the second time he had been absent since their visit last month. The royal army that was brought was also not as much as it used to be.
Bruk!
Kaylis looked down, at her feet. A young man collapsed beside the horse that Kaylis was riding on. Kaylis hurriedly jumped down and examined the young man.
His long golden hair was trailing over his pale face. As she combed the hairs up with her fingers, Kaylis noticed her nails turning slightly bluish. Her breathing was heavy, and she was like she was running out of energy.
Judging from his nice clothes and robes, it was almost certain that he was not a resident of Amethyst Village. Kaylis knows almost all of the villagers. Every day, he sees the same faces.
"Hey, are you okay?" kaylis asked, looking seriously at the two men's brown eyeballs.
The man looked up. When he saw Kaylis, he frowned without saying a word.
"I can help you if you're sick. I'm Kaylis Gronora, a healing expert in this village" Kaylis continued.
The man suddenly glared sharply at Kaylis. The next half a second, the two men's eyeballs turned bright yellow, and shone brightly, still looking straight at Kaylis.
Kaylis was shocked and screamed. He jumped a few steps back.
What the fuck is this guy? What is this guy!?
Kaylis had already forgotten her position as a person willing to treat. He's just gonna run away. However, just then a group of people in royal warrior uniforms came appearing towards them. The yellow eyeball suddenly dimmed its light, and slowly returned to its normal brown eyeball.
"Mr Lukario, are you okay?" One of the soldiers approached the strange man named Lukario who was lying helplessly.
Lukario finally took her eyes off Kaylis who was already trembling in fear. Suddenly he smiled. Finally he tried to get up from his seat.
"I'm fine, let's go" he told the soldier who approached him. He then walked in with the help of one of the soldiers. They got into a horse-drawn carriage, and left just like that.
There was the sound of the horse's feet moving away. Kaylis was still dumbfounded trying to digest the incident just now. Why did he bring out those weird yellow eyes on me?
