The sunlight was hot to my face. I was still in the room, after last night busy fixing the feeling and regulating the breath. I don't think Kenan would do such a crazy thing, but he's actually crazier than I thought.
I woke up and headed to the kitchen to cook breakfast. After devouring my food, my eyes fell on the desk drawer. There I have stored some paper and some equipment that must be used when returning to the massalu. I opened the drawer and took out the equipment.
'Back in the days of Kenan expressing his feelings for me' I wrote on the sheet. I laid it on my heart, I will reject it as much as possible so as not to be this difficult if I return.
I lit a match and burned the paper like before. The letters I had written had burned a little, until when they were about to burn, my eyes began to close.
...****************...
The rain fell so fast, I was in a taxi that had stopped in front of the restaurant. "Sir, the rain remains this heavy. Can't you just run? I need more passengers" said the taxi driver, who was upset because I didn't get out of the car.
"Sorry sir, this is the payment" I said, then handed over the atm and opened the car door and immediately ran to the front door of the restaurant.
Before entering, I checked my phone first. I saw some messages there, but it was Kenan's message I read first. 'We met at restaurant X at four in the afternoon. You have to come well, I just bought your book that I borrowed yesterday. I've booked a place, call it Kenan Kentana at the reception desk.' The message led me in to ask the reception desk. Is it true that Kenan has come, because now it has passed a few minutes at four.
"Sir, my friend had previously reserved a table. His name's Kenan Kentana, which desk is it next to?"
"I'm looking for a minute Ma'am"
"She's number 49 at the left end there, but Mas Kenan Kentana has yet to confirm his arrival. Do you want to order food directly here or after your friends come?"
"I'll wait a minute Ma'am, the message is just as he's coming."
"Okay Ma'am, the table's on the left. Please"
I also walked down the tables and looked for the number 49 on the table. I thought, Kenan has come and there's no need to keep me waiting. Both in the future and in the past, Kenan was always annoying in my opinion. I'm sick of it and hate it so much, especially if it's like this I'm tired of waiting.
Fifteen minutes passed and I sat at this table. A servant came to me, to ask for an order. "Sir, did you want to order something?" said the waiter who approached me.
"Yes, can I see the menu first?" The waiter turned the menu book over to me, I flipped through the menu book looking at the entrance to see who knew Kenan was already there. "I ordered red velvet (ice) Mas," I said, handing the menu back.
"Well, wait a minute, yeah."
While waiting for my order or Kenan who has not come I reopen the incoming messages. I saw Riana and Lenca's message that took my attention. "Finally the one you're waiting for arrives too, may Kenan really express his feelings for you" Lenca wrote in a short message sent a few minutes ago. Turns out right, I came back the day Kenan expressed his feelings for me. Then why is he so late?
"Yey, hold on Key won't be single again. Deal well if it's done," wrote Lenca in a short message sent two hours before I got here. My friends are still the way they used to be, still supporting what I want. However, today I will not accept Kenan. Maybe, in the past, he was handsome when I saw him. But, unlike me who came from the future. He's just a man who doesn't know himself and is very evil in my opinion.
I saw Kenan coming in from the left side of the restaurant, but if he came from his house he would come from the right. His hair was a bit wet which made him look very handsome. The women in the restaurant looked at him in awe. But again, I am not like them. The word 'Only Ordinary' was a perfect fit for him.
"I'm sorry I'm so late because there's a little business, and then I wait for the rain to stop" she said as she approached me, the women around us looked jealous of me, because Kenan was actually meeting women.
"It's okay. I've ordered a drink, you order too."
"I ordered it at the reception desk earlier, he said that you've ordered. So, I ordered a drink, too."
"Hm. Btw, where's my book? You didn't forget to ask?"
"No ko, wait yeah." Kenan opened his backpack and looked for my book which he promised me to give at this time. As he searched, our order came, so he paused for a moment waiting for the waiter to leave.
"This is the book, we open the sheet well," he said with a sweet smile. If, I don't come from the future, I'll melt with him like this. But that's not going to happen.
'Keysha, I've liked you for a long time. Borrowing your book is just my way of meeting you off campus. I like you. So my girlfriend's Key!' these words are written large on each sheet. I saw her smiling sweetly in front of me. I thought I wanted to throw him with my drink, not knowing he was so evil if I was with him in the future.
He then took my hand and grasped it tightly. "Key, I've liked you for a long time. Maybe since we first met, be my girlfriend."
I took my hand from her, "Sorry Kenan, I can't be your girlfriend. I like other people, "this sentence I've been preparing since before he came.
His reaction was very surprised, probably because of his very cool charm today plus all the women saw it. As if he was just thinking, that I would accept it.
"What Key? You already have a boyfriend"
"Yes. Just a few hours ago I was with him."
He also looked down pensive. I don't know what he's thinking right now. "I go first. Thank you for bringing me my book." I left him without looking back.
