"Get in" Hanaya said to the maid at the door of the room without taking a look from the window.
The torches of fire that were held in high esteem scattered the light in all directions, reflecting the shadow of the palace warriors on the royal walls. This crowd is demanding the same thing, Xavier's disappearance.
The sound of screaming mixed with anger roared for one purpose.
Hanaya wants that too, Xavier disappears. Unfortunately the law remains the law and the royal family's blood cannot be denied, Xavier must be tried.
This only added to Hanaya's anxiety. Bad assumptions haunt him. What if Xavier escapes? Or if the man has a plan for self-rescue? Wouldn't it all be in vain ?
Tonight was longer and Hanaya was covered with bad assumptions and anxiety. Although evidence and witnesses have been secured, circumstances can change at any time, right? Hanaya is afraid that Xavier will find an opening overnight to save himself.
He was really frustrated waiting for the sun to come. Starting Xavier's trial and getting the victory, despite the slight pain felt in the deepest part of his heart, Hanaya chose to ignore.
"Miss"
"Brianna?" Hanaya hugged the girl spontaneously.
"Dad and mom how are they? Any letters or messages for me?" Ask Hanaya.
"Master and mistress are fine. They're just worried about you. You're afraid you can't rest well"
Hanaya was suddenly overcome with longing. If he could he wanted to visit home at a time like this, calm his anxiety.
"You look worried. There is something bothering you" Hanaya sighed hearing that.
He couldn't possibly tell how worried he was about Xavier's trial. About how fears and bad preconceptions haunt Xavier's escape. About his obsession getting rid of the man. Brianna would have been suspicious. Viviana never knew who Xavier was other than their recent interactions. And for no reason now hate that man? It doesn't make any sense.
Brianna's not an easy person Hanaya fooled.
"I-good. Just a little worried about my first hearing tomorrow"
"What did you bring? Did you make anything for me? Or did you send something new again?" Hanaya asked uneasily. Brianna's scrupulousness and probing gaze really triggered the discomfort.
Brianna psychically intimidates him and Hanaya's anxiety becomes more and more unbearable.
"You're lying. Something else is bothering you, isn't it?"
"Whatchu mean? The palace was too noisy at this moment obviously I was distracted" Hanaya said avoiding Brianna's gaze. The girl and her sensitivity were really something that sometimes troubled Hanaya.
"I'm sorry for my stupidity, miss. Ladies and gentlemen just want me to make sure you're okay" Brianna obviously can't press her. His anxiety disturbs Brianna but Viviana does not want to show what is behind her anxiety.
He's hiding something. Just like before. But Brianna and his status can not force to know the private affairs of his nona.
"The lady just gave me this, herbal tea. And you want to visit once in a while if you have the time" and said, Brianna put the herbal tea that the mistress gave her.
"Ah, okay"
There was a long silence between the two. Hanaya realizes Brianna is waiting for her honesty.
But what could Hanaya say? She was afraid Brianna turned away upon hearing his confession. About who Hanaya really is, her dreams, happy endings and obsession with the greatest barrier, Xavier. That-he's nobody but a thief.
That Hanaya stole all of Viviana's original possessions and changed her holdings.
"Back Brianna. It's an order, you know what you have to say to my mom and dad" so with her status, Hanaya pushes Brianna away from the truth.
There's nothing Brianna can do, right? And again, his status requires Brianna to live in ignorance. Brianna's just running orders. That is the true duty of a servant.
"Neither miss"

"Brianna is Viviana okay?"
It was impossible for Brianna to tell her non-existent reasons regarding the nervousness of her first trial. It would only be a gap of rage for Viscount Lances. Because the Emperor and Queen only participated in witnessing which was only a formality and not a judge who clearly had a big hand in the trial.
Her master's concern for the miss had exceeded the limit. And Brianna couldn't possibly add to that worry anyway.
"Why aren't you there, making sure Viviana's asleep with no new distractions back?"
"Sorry sir. But the lady ordered me back. If any other servant saw me enter the palace without the knowledge of the emperor or the palace warriors, of course the name of the lady would be tainted. I can't be there - even if I want to be "
Viscount Lances breathed a sigh hearing that. This relentless problem made his concern for the princess increase. Viscount Lances was afraid Viviana was depressed.
"alright. Come back Brianna, thank you for helping"
"No problem sir. It was already my duty" Viscount Lances pensively pensively pensively paused at the room window.
His thoughts were with Xavier. Rumors of how the man was trying to pull him to his side were so disturbing to the Viscount's thinking. Even so, I don't know why his belief did not recede to the young man.
He had known Xavier since he was a child. Intelligent, strong and unpretentious. Of course, it was difficult for the Viscount to accept the coup that the young man had staged. There is something wrong about the coup. Whether it's a place, time or person. But how much he tried to dig there was nothing to find.
Edward had the same belief. Why would Xavier plot a coup if the throne would be his ?
The incident was back in his mind.
In the middle of the night, silence struck. Edward, the first emperor and the Viscount sat down to play a game of chess, while discussing some issues.
Suddenly someone barged in. The soldier was covered in blood with a deep stab wound right in the stomach.
"Yes-Your Majesty, the crown prince attacked ra-ratu ba-" unfinished his remark the soldier had collapsed on the floor. Died.
Edward and himself ran through. The most horrifying sight Viscount Lances had ever seen was seen, the corpses of warriors strewn everywhere. Blood filled the royal floor. A familiar sight he never saw again. The tragic death of a man on the battlefield.
"Ahh" roaring screams. Coming from the emperor's room in the follow up with the sound of falling objects.
The two of them broke through quickly only to find Xavier standing there in white clothes covered in blood. Spots of blood filled his face, the knightly sword he had bestowed on him drained blood from his silver, dripping contaminating the floor. Not far from where she was standing, the queen with a pale face fell on the floor.
"XAVIER !" the scream clearly left the 18-year-old shocked. His sword fell to the floor, clanking loudly adding to the shakes of the queen's fear.
Viscount Lances saw him, Xavier's surprised face. And his blood-filled hand trembled violently while staring in surprise at the queen.
Unfortunately before gaining clarity from his son, the shadow warrior had restrained Xavier's movements.
"Dad, I-I"
"The Crown Prince is being held on the basis of a coup !" That's the voice of prime minister Duke Egrat.
Something was wrong with that time. Xavier's shocked face, the appearance of an out-of-place shadow warrior and prime minister Egrat clearly created strange puzzles that Viscount Lances could not assemble his purpose.
If Edward did not clean hard to forgive Xavier, then his eldest son would have disappeared.
Viscount Lances massaged his painful head. So many years of searching for evidence has not been fruitful. Everyone involved is dead. Egrat the prime minister died a month after the incident, and the main shadow warrior resigned after the death of duke Egrat. Isn't it very strange?
As if everything was planned.
So who is the mastermind ?
And why was this event buried so deeply that no evidence was found that led to the design? If only based on presumptions, Viscount Lances' words would certainly not be believed.
Something is wrong. The hunch of Viscount Lances said so. And he's convinced, Xavier wasn't involved. He's just a pawn that's being used.
