When Danger Arrives

Three months have passed since Jean's animation and comic production house was inaugurated, the inauguration was not made public to all companies under the Valera company. Because Jean doesn't want to be a subject of attention.

The production house operates on the 3rd floor of the central Valera building. Enver assigns a woman who is quite famous in the field of animation, to join Jean's production house.

Jean initially refused, because it was too burdensome to shelter the famous creator in his production house that is still pioneering. But if Jean doesn't want to, Jean must be escorted by eleven bodyguards just like when Jean reunites with her friends before the wedding. Because of this, Jean begged Enver to work there as one of the startup creators, and the company leader let others.

Jean then realizes that the famous creator who always kept his identity a secret, is Angel's older brother, after Jean met him directly, because of his very high level of resemblance. Her real name is Ruby, while her pseudonym is Devil.

That morning Jean walked into her room with Siska, walking past several other young creators who had started preparing for work. Jean sat in the room where she had been working. While Siska entered the administration room whose door was located right behind Jean's booth or desk.

Jean saw the clock on her phone showing at 7 am, the room was indeed quite quiet in the morning, because most of her employees began to actively work from noon until late at night, some even stay, because most of the employees began to work, or go home in the morning and start working again in the afternoon.

When lunch arrives, Jean, Ruby, Siska, Rina and Lita (who work next to Rina's room), eat at the same table in the cafeteria.

Jean couldn't move a bit, her sweat was pouring, Jean's eyeballs were shaking withstanding the immense fear.

The man, who called himself Jean's sister-in-law, pulled out a knife from his jacket pocket.

Jean felt the heat from the wound that resulted from a knife stab in her stomach. Jean's chin was gaping with her eyes widened reddened withstanding the excruciating pain.

A loud bang stopped the stab that hit Jean's stomach. Jean realized she was already lying on the restaurant tile. With her vision blurred, Jean sees Ruby's body lying on a shattered piece of table glass.

“Jeaan, Jean, Jea..”, Enver's voice calling Jean out of nowhere began to bias and disappear. The Enver's voice sounded very frightened, as if it was very afraid that Jean would leave it.

Jean thought, was it because she was dying?, she so heard the voice of Enver who called her with emotions that showed love. It was a dream that Jean had hoped for.
