Celebration Party

Nine years on, Jean, now in high school, is busy preparing for student orientation activities at school. Jean enters a high school that is quite famous, but Jean must adapt to the school alone without a substitute friend. That's because only Jean entered the school, while Clara and Beny went to another school.

That morning on Wednesday, Jean was chatting in the classroom with some of her new friends to get along.

“Finally the day of orientation by OSIS arrives.!”, Rani's spirit looks overflowing in that chat.

The first Monday in the first semester of education has arrived, Jean walks towards the classroom. Jean sees Lisa staring at her, and Rani who stands excitedly greets Jean.

“You said that handsome brother only entered on the day of the exam? , but look he is here today!”, whispered Rani excitedly with a glued look.

Lisa and Jean simultaneously look at Rani's gaze, a few seconds they are glued. Jean who had to turn her body to look at Enver jerked back around after meeting Enver. Jean tilted her head with a facial expression trying to remember something.

“Look, you remember someone right?, you know that big brother?”, whispered Rani as she leaned her head towards Jean.

Lisa and Rani who are in front of jean are silent only focus on Jean.

As if already indifferent to the discussion about Enver, Jean kept her eyes on trying to remember someone she felt she had seen similar to Enver's sister.

That afternoon Jean sat at the bus stop, daydreaming at the waiting bench at the stop, evoking memories of her childhood having lived on a roadside public bench for two days. His mind continued to remember his uncle, and wondered how his uncle's family was doing.

Yes, even though it is said that people in the lower class at school, Lisa and Rani are not people who really do not exist. They are actually said to be people in general. Jean realized it after some time knowing them.

That day the three of them were about to come to a party event in order to celebrate the victory of several sports teams in the school, including athletics which included Lisa's archery team in it. Lisa invites Jean and Rani to come as the players are allowed to invite a maximum of 5 friends to the party. Jean was hesitant to come, but Rani eagerly persuaded him to come along.

He wondered if what Clarisa was telling him was true, or just plain nonsense. Jean couldn't think of any reason for Enver being able to do the stalking if it was true. In the midst of her turmoil, Jean decides to drink the lemonade Lisa brought for her while trying to ignore Clarisa's words. That's because Jean couldn't find any reason in her life that could make Enver stalk her like Clarisa said.

“Cek.cek”, loudspeaker sounds disperse Jean's mind. A man with an athletic posture stood on a small stage at the center of the party.

“Good night everyone!!”, welcome the man who was greeted with a shout of encouragement from the party guests.

“Today, this party was made by our loyal sponsors, to celebrate the victory of several teams of athletes from our school. Especially the Princess archery team, the men's basketball team, and the swimming team who contributed trophies and gold medals”. His speech made the hands of the entire room clap crowded. Jean proudly looked at Lisa while patting Lisa on the shoulder. Lisa returned Jean's praise with a shy smile.

The darkening night did not make the party venue dim, the sound of music became more intense, people who enjoyed food, some smuggled alcohol in the corners of the party. Jean stands in front of the female toilet waiting for Lisa who is urinating. He could not wait inside because it was crowded, and decided to wait outside.

Jean, who was still a little shocked, decided to leave Lisa who was still in the toilet and was about to go to Jean's seat table before.

“Cause you haven't changed ya”, that strange remark made Jean stop and look up at the sound. Jean petrified at the smiling Enver who was standing in the hallway of the road leading to the party room.

Jean looked around to see who Enver was talking to.

“Jean, don't you know me?, when I know you so well”, Enver's words are hard to digest by Jean, for Jean Enver's questions are too absurd.

Enver drew closer to Jean, and Jean could not dwell a bit.

Enver then leaves Jean still staring out of the building.

“Jean!?, why leave me anyway?”, lamented Lisa while patting Jean on the shoulder.

Lisa's small pat made Jean collapse, Jean breathed hard as if she had held her breath for a long time. The shocked Lisa immediately crouched down to check on Jean. Jean was sitting limp with a pale face and sweat pouring out.

“Jean are you okay?”, “you why?”, consecutive panic questions come out without a break from Lisa's panicked mouth.

Some of the people walking through the hallway surrounded Jean, without saying much, Lisa carried Jean to the car and gave him a drink. Rani who had just come to look from the outside of the car confirmed Jean's condition with a worried face, and found Jean who was asleep in a tired state. At the end of the night, in the middle of the party Rani and Lisa drive Jean home.
