It had been almost three hours Runa was in front of the operating room. Many times he sat and stood, often the woman looked so worried.

“Runi, go to Khan's room first, yes. Mbak want to see the condition of Khan at this time,” said Runa while touching Runi's shoulder.

“Mbak take it easy, Mama just WA he said Khan was stable even though he was not aware. Ms. Runa is here, Mama and the nurse already nemenin Khan.” Runi smiled grasping the hands of Runa who was so cold. It was obvious that worry emanated from that slightly pale beautiful face.

Seconds by seconds felt like years for Runa. Lukman, who saw his daughter acting like that, could conclude that Sandy was someone who occupied the throne especially in the heart of Runa.

“At a time like this, we better pray, Runa. Calm yourself, leave it all to the Owner of Life. This way your heart will calm down, son. You also have to take care of your condition. Remember that Khan and Sandy need you right now. Don't let your worries cause your physique to weaken.” Lukman who was sad to see the condition of Runa was guiding Runa to sit next to him.

Runa obeyed his father's words. Runa confirmed Lukman's sentence. He sits between Runi and Lukman. His head lowered, he closed his eyes and begged the Almighty to give healing to those so precious in his life.

A moment of silence enveloped the room. Ata who had been silent and saw everything, had to give up if his presence was as invisible to Runa. Even the food he bought for Runa had not been able to give. On one side of her heart began to throb pain, Ata saw so mean Sandy to a Runa.

Thirty minutes passed, Runa leaned her back on the back of the waiting chair. His face looked calmer than a few minutes ago. Ata ventured to approach Runa.

“Run, drink first.” Ata held out a bottle of mineral water that was immediately received and gulped by Runa. “This is to prop up your stomach. From morning you haven't eaten.” Ata again held out a packet of bread, he understood that in this condition Runa would definitely not want to eat rice.

“Thank you, Ta,” replied Runa briefly.

“Eat first, after this you should really become a strong woman.” Lukman stroked Runa's head.

With a weight Runa put the bread into his mouth. Time keeps going. The red light above the operating room door is still on. Not long after, there was a loud noise coming from outside.

“Tante Mira.” Runa got up and immediately rushed into the woman's arms.

“How Sandy is, Honey?” mira asked with tears.

“Still treated by doctor, Tan.”

“Please sit, Mbak.” Lukman stood up and shifted his position to the side of Ata.

“Thank you, Mas. Sorry to bother Runa's father. I don't know what to do when I hear this news. Once again thank you for handling everything here so that Sandy can immediately get the best care.” Mira bowed her body slightly in honor of Lukman.

“What I am doing right now, is not yet comparable to what Mira is doing for my daughter.”

The creaking sound of the operating room door diverts the attention of all who are there. Mira and Runa rushed over to the doctor who was still wearing a green scrub suit.

“How's my son's condition, Doc?” ask Mira to the doctor.

“Operation went well. However, we have not been able to confirm the condition of the patient. If the patient can get through his critical period tonight, we hope his condition improves soon. For a while, the patient was under surveillance. Only one person is allowed to accompany him.”

“Thank you, Doctor,” said Mira.

“Mbak, we are back to Khan, yes. If there is anything contact us,” said Runi before Runa followed the nurse who took Sandy from the operating room to the recovery room.

“Iya, Runi. Ma'am take Khan first. Soon I will be back.”

They also separated. Runa and Mira follow where Sandy is taken by the officers. The others returned to Khan's room.

“How are things, Auntie? Sorry Runa. Aunty must be gegara Runa,” Ogre Runa on their way down the hospital corridor.

“There is still no meaningful progress, Tan. Hopefully Khan will soon find a suitable donor,” said Runa.

Later that night, Mira accompanies Sandy alone. Patiently Mira prayed at the son's side. It would be a lie if Mira said she was okay. The fear of loss so haunted her feelings. After her husband died, Mira lived alone with Sandy. So at a time like this, her fear of loss had actually been agonizing from the very beginning. However, Mira pretends to be strong. It was simply because he did not want Runa to know that fear. Mira understood that Runa needed her support. If Runa finds out that she is scared, then who will encourage Runa?

“Sandy!” exclaimed Mira when she felt the movement of the fingers of the son. Mira glanced at the wall clock in the room. Time shows at 02.30 WIB. Since her arrival, Mira has been unable to close her eyes.

“Ma ..” Sandy's voice was clear despite being so weak.

“Ya, Baby. Mama's here. Where does that hurt?” tanya Mira approached towards Sandy.

“Excuse me, Sandy is already a hassle.” Sandy's voice is getting weaker.

“Don't talk too much, son. Rest!” mira's words that Sandy doesn't ignore.

“Sandy is afraid of not having time, Ma.”

“Don't talk that hard. Mama's son must be healed. Because the mother's son is a strong person,” denied Mira with tears that began to flow.

“Ma-ma ja-ngan na-ngis” Sandy's sentence stammered, adjusting to her unstable heart rhythm. “Where is konda-si Khan?”

“You don't mind Khan just yet. Khan has been met by many people. Now you have to fight in order to join in the middle of them.” Mira tries to spur her son's spirit.

“Ma, if it happens se-su-a-tu same Sandy, please Mama don't be sad, yes. Sandy wants my life and death to benefit others.” Sandy breathed a moment. “If anything happens bu-ruk please give Sandy heart to Khan.”

“Sandy, you can't talk like that. You need to heal, son. You must be strong. Who will nemenin mom if you also go.” Mira's cry broke when Sandy's heart rate recorder monitor went off.

A loud noise began to be heard in the room. The medics are busy doing help for Sandy. Mira came out of the room and immediately contacted Runa. In just a matter of minutes, Runa arrived beside Mira. It was a very sad morning for them.

Sunlight infiltrates through the gaps of the curtains in Sandy's room. Runa fixed the position of the blanket on Mira's body. The woman looked so tired, that Runa did not want to disturb her sleep. Moreover, Mira only slept at six in the morning after the doctor stated that Sandy's condition had stabilized and moved to this room even though Sandy was not yet conscious.

The sound of the door opening from outside. Runa turned his head and saw the presence of the figure of the old woman who was so resolute it was already standing there. His eyes were staring at Runa and Sandy in turn. Slowly the woman stepped closer to Runa.

Plaque.

A loud slap landed on Runa's cheek.

“This is all because of you! I told you many times, stay away from Sandy! But you always ignored my request. What if this is how? Can you change my grandson's life?”

Runa budging. Tears had run down the river on her cheeks. Runa feels very guilty about the accident that hit Sandy.

"Truely said Grandma Sekar. I always bother Sandy. Even now I've hurt him,” he said inwardly.

Mira who was disturbed by the noise in the room was immediately awake.

“Grandma? Grandma can't blame Runa. Runa also did not want this to happen. All this is God's destiny. We can't refuse it.” Mira approached Sekar's grandmother and whispered in the old woman's ear. “Nek, Mira please just this time, don't make a fuss. Poor Sandy.”

Runa held onto her cheek which felt hot. A slap was nothing compared to the Firth of Sekar who slapped his heart. Sometimes, we need a hard slap to realize the meaning of a mistake. Runa understood, surely at this time Sekar's heart hurt what he felt.
