Chapters 19. Family Togetherness

When the oil has been hot, Pandu helps to put banana slices into the frying pan.

Mothers go back and forth the banana slices so as not to stick to each other.

Titi and Tuti were engrossed in their work, peeling and slicing bananas.

Mom and Pandu fry banana slices to make chips.

Dad came wearing no clothes, sweat running down his body.

Looks like, dad got into a rage after cutting down a banana tree and looking for grass.

Dad was sitting on the side of the bale a bit away from mom who was frying chips.

After wearing sarongs and peci, the father and Pandu say goodbye to go to the mushala.

Titi and Tuti clean up their used cups and plates of drinks and food, then wash them.

" If you have finished washing the dishes, immediately berwudhu aja, soon azan magrib!" mother said to Titi and Tuti.

" Okay, mom!" answer them.

After all was done, they were getting ready to pray magrib, because the azan magrib had reverberated.

I finished ablution, followed by Titi and Tuti.

They pray in their own rooms, because there is no special room for prayer.
