Nanny's Beloved Genius Child

Nanny's Beloved Genius Child
Chapter 29 Mediation

Jamie opens the door to his son's room, Daniel and Melody turn their heads later. He went into the room and closed the door, and asked Melody to speak. They sat down on Daniel's bed, while Daniel remained in his place by the window.

"I need to talk about marriage with Emily, not something a child would be happy to hear, can you accompany her to play outside for a while?" pinta Jamie, lower her voice.

"Okay, you can call Melody whenever you're done, Melody promises she won't take her far away" the nanny said, giving her thumbs up.

Soon after Melody reused the cardigan she had taken off, Daniel refused to play outside when he still hadn't finished reading his new book. Melody brought her face closer to the seven-year-old.

"So seriously you want to listen to their quarrel?" his whispers.

"Why not?" challenge Daniel, still glued to his book.

Melody rolled her eyes lazily, "you can only listen without being able to do anything. Instead of staying in this stuffy room, why not go do something else and go home and hear the results?"

Melody's statement, it feels right, Daniel gave up and according to be told to play outside. But on condition that he still wanted to bring his book, Melody prepared a bag that was in the closet. He was confused to choose, so many bags of nice but striking characters.

"Wear Melody's bag alone, which is too childish," Daniel protested, trying to fit all the books into a mini-size Melody bag.

Melody quickly saves her bag from Daniel's coercion, Melody picks one book at random and she puts it in her bag. Daniel did not dwell. They were ready to come out, the father still sitting on the bed watching, while occasionally smiling because of their behavior.

Ready to get out, Daniel and his nanny walk to the door, and Jamie gets up and follows them behind.

"Thank you very much" said Jamie.

It sounded clear, it was on target in Melody's ear, like a more meaningful speech than usual. Daniel says goodbye to his mother, he keeps his distance at Emily's request, for the attention of Emily rubbing Daniel's head. Just to that extent, Daniel then stepped his feet out of the house.

Melody was astonished that Daniel's enthusiasm for her mother had disappeared, looking like a change of attitude. Melody was about to give Jamie a deep nod, but Melody let her go as quickly as possible realizing Emily's sharp gaze.

"You see that disgusting look? The boy has feelings for you Jamie, approaching Daniel is a woman's trick**** that's to get to her father," Emily wrote as she stared at the door of the house that had been closed.

"Yes, you can also do that trick to pull me back, I don't mind considering it." Jamie snatched away the phone Emily was holding, then sat on the sofa across the front.

"Aren't we going to talk about your divorce request? Very presumptuous ka- "have not had time to finish his speech.

Jamie chimed in, "don't you? Stop commenting on my decision."

Emily folded her hands, not even a ring Jamie gave her. They've all mushroomed in jewelry boxes without ever being worn, Jamie hasn't even worn her ring since she gave up on her feelings. Except at big family events, they wear wedding rings.

The ring that always stuck on Emily's ring finger was all her own purchases, or maybe it was actually someone else's? No one knows.

"I've burned letters from the court, there will be no divorce. I will go home after Daniel has fully recovered from his illness. We're not short of money just to pay for a good, well-trained nanny for months" Emily said.

Jamie let out a rough breath, he got off the couch. The job he missed just for a wasted conversation, it's been repeatedly those words he heard, all Jamie wants is change.

"You, you always make me beg you, you know I hate begging. I don't want to ask for mercy from you. You never tried to reciprocate my feelings" Emily said.

Jamie stopped, trying to hear what the woman would say as his wife, even without turning her head.

Emily squeezed the skirt that wrapped her thighs. "You've always been cold, I love you Jamie" she said.

Emily looked up at her face. "Then what about now? My son needs me all the time!"

A grin is imprinted on Jamie's lip line. "As her biological mother? Yep. The affection? No. gabe. You took care of him all this time just to achieve ambitions you couldn't achieve, to be the successor to your family's company."

Emily rises. A hard slap landed on Jamie's cheek, bruised red on Jamie's clean, white skin. Emily hates discussing her family's company, and soon her younger brother will inherit her father's company. Emily hated the idealism of her papa who looked down on a woman's cerebellum as the holder of a company, and chose her son only on the basis of gender.

...****************...

Under the cloud, Daniel and his caretaker paced unmoved. The boy went back to his book, but he didn't put the book out of the bag Melody was carrying at all. Then he remembered Natasha.

"Natasha's school is near here, does Melody know where it is?" daniel asked, his feet constantly moving across the multicolored tires lined up in the park.

"Know, why? Wanna go there?" haggling Melody, her brows were up and down as her lips smiled widely.

After a few minutes of consideration, Daniel shook his head. The outside world looks scary to him, especially after getting to know the internet world where he can hide when playing on online social networks, his vigilance increases if in the outside world.

"Well, no exclamation," lethargic Melody.

Daniel turned his lips, he wanted to go there, but thought Melody had promised her father. If something happens, the mistake will be passed on to the adult.

"Now he must be stuffing his own stomach with his mother's many provisions, hahaha!" Daniel laughed satisfied later.

Hearing Daniel's words, Melody realized the other day, apparently Daniel helped her spend the provisions. The supply is that much for a small child like him, and his mother does not allow him to share his provisions with other children? thought.

So that's why Natasya forbade me to wash the box.

Streets are as crowded as ever, private vehicles dominate highways in the current hours. Cold sweat is pouring in, supplying relief missions and ignoring a ban from his father, Jamie. Somehow Melody persuaded her, they suddenly arrived at the entrance of the public school gate where Natasha had her primary school education.

"You're really stubborn, Melody," growled Daniel.

But the face did not lie, his eyes twinkled around the school scene that was not that big. The school building is pretty ugly in Daniel's eyes, but because it's a place where Natasya runs, plays, and spends her time. His mood was very good, imagining what Natasya's daily life was like in that school.

Melody lifted Daniel into her lap, he entered the school gate and approached the school security first. The security guard labeled "Vishnu" on his right chest approached Melody first.

Melody nodded her head. "Good morning, sir," he said.

Friendly, the gatekeeper asked, "For Ma'am, what is the need?"

"Dany is Natasha's cousin, and Dany wants to visit Natasha, Mr. Satpam!" daniel intends to outsmart.

"Oohs? Is that so, brother?" The security guard named Vishnu turned familiar to Daniel. "Visiting only? In what order, huh?"

The security guard again asked Melody a question, which meant that Daniel's words did not affect her in the least.

"My son wants to go to school here, sir, so I deliberately took him for a look around this school while he was visiting his older cousin" Melody explained.

Only overcoming the security guard an easy problem for Melody, they can enter with permission from the security guard named Vishnu. Melody's words were not entirely a lie, she did intend to lure Daniel to school where he wanted without hesitation. Regardless of quality and class.
