Chapter 12 In The Deepest Sea

Melody quickly approached her foster child, a flood of tears and sweat from her head to her neck, her coughing that became so draining her strength. Her mom? Dodging behind Jamie, his disgusted expression was not hidden.

Melody wants to explode, but security won't stay idle if there's a commotion. Daniel's cry alone has invited a lot of attention, not a few who whispered disfiguring Emily. Not a few also pity this poor child who is crying.
