Tracy Raven's New Secretary

Chapter 7.

Caroline knocked on Raven's door from the outside, opened it slowly, and stepped in accompanied by a young woman in her 20s.

“Good morning, Mr. Raven,” greet Caroline as soon as she gets in front of Raven's desk. “This is Tracy I said last night,” he said as he introduced the person beside him.

Raven stared for a moment at the young lady beside Caroline. He dressed quite practically with a short-sleeved blouse and a span skirt above the knee. Her haircut is just shoulder to shoulder with thin make-up, but she looks pretty.

“How are you, Sir? My name is Tracy,” he introduced himself while extending a hand.

Raven stood up for a moment to shake Tracy's hand. “Raven,” reply is short. Then he sat back down. “Please sit!” she said, inviting Tracy to sit down.

Tracy sat in front of Raven. Caroline stood beside him.

Raven looked at Caroline for a moment. “What's wrong, Caroline. You can go now,” he smiled a little. “If there is a need later, I just called again,” he said.

“Excuse me, Sir,” Caroline said goodbye then nodded at Tracy before exiting the room.

“Master, these are my personal data, diplomas, and work references,” Tracy said as she handed over the map she was carrying.

Raven opened the map and read it. A minute later he said, “I think Caroline told you about what you do here, didn't she?” he closed the map and looked at Tracy.

“Betul, Sir,” Tracy nodded. “Caroline has already told me about my duties later. I think I can take this job, and I will try my hardest to work well.”

Raven nodded. “Alright then,” said agree, “You can start working tomorrow.”

“So I was accepted, Mister?” ask Tracy not to believe it.

“Iya,” Raven nodded. “Until tomorrow,” he said with a smile.

“Thank you, Sir,” reply Tracy with joyful mimicry. “I will try my best. See you tomorrow, sir. Excuse me..” Then he turned around and walked away with a face full of enthusiasm.

Coming out of Raven's room, Tracy's heart was singing. He smiles himself imagine thanks to the services of Caroline, so easily he can become a secretary of a young director who is very handsome, whose smile earlier felt very thrilling. Any woman would be instantly captivated the moment she saw it.

Tracy felt her heart blossom. As he continued walking, he threw a smile at one of the boy-rooms who noticed him from the lobby. Soon he will be one of the employees in this hotel, a luxury five-star hotel, and no responsibility his position is very soft, namely the secretary of a director.

Tracy walked excitedly, her mind a little laugh, so she accidentally hit a woman who came from the opposite direction when she arrived at the lobby.

“Oh, sorry, sorry,” he said hurriedly while helping to get the handbag of the woman who had fallen to the floor.

“Sorry, I did not accidentally,” Tracy gave the handbag to the woman he had just pierced. Tracy looked at her for a moment and intended to leave immediately, but her eyes inadvertently turned to a man standing next to the woman.

Instantly his face turned shocked, as if in disbelief. “Hei, Kyle!” shouts surprise.”You're Kyle, aren't you? Why are you here?” He alternately looked at Kyle and the woman next to Kyle he had just hit. “Eh, and who is this?” tanyanya wants to know.

Claire, the woman next to Kyle, looked at Tracy and Kyle alternately. There was a slight piqued and suspicious mimicry on the two of them.

“Kyle, did you not introduce me to this woman by your side?” ask Tracy urgently.

Claire held her breath, a little annoyed in the face of this kind of atmosphere.

Seeing Claire's disturbed reaction, Kyle quickly said, “Tracy, this is Claire Harrington, the owner of this hotel, and I'm her assistant.”

“Claire Harrington?” Tracy repeated while clucking. “So she's Miss Harrington, daughter of Mr. Harrington, the owner of this hotel who died recently right? Is that right?”

“Betul!” kyle replied short. He wanted to get out of there quickly to avoid Tracy. As a matter of fact he said to Claire, “Miss Claire, this is Tracy, my friend while abroad.”

“Oh...,” Claire just muttered while looking at Tracy at a glance. “Yes it's okay, if you guys want to talk, I go first,” Claire said as she walked away.

“Lain times only, Tracy!” Kyle releases Tracy's hand which holds her wrist. “I'm busy! Ohya, why are you here?” tanyanya is remembered.

Tracy pulled her hair back. Proudly he said, “I was accepted to be the secretary director of this company.”

“Secretary? Director secretary? Mr Raven you mean?” kyle asked, clarifying.

“Yes, I was interviewed just now, and was immediately accepted. Tomorrow I start working. Great right?” proud of.

“Huh! Someone must have introduced you to Mr. Raven. If not mistaken..,” vaguely Kyle tries to remember the conversation between Raven and Claire last night, when they were in the pool.

“Caroline! Caroline, my mama's friend and also the manager here,” Tracy replied quickly.

“Yes right, Caroline!” kyle repeated after remembering it. “Oh, so Caroline is your mama's friend? You deserve to be accepted, because Caroline is Mr. Raven.”'s favorite employee

“Thill so?” ask Tracy interested.

“That's! Otherwise, how could you be accepted! Ah, yes, I want to catch up with Miss Claire first. If at all he waited for me, could be angry later,” Kyle walked away, leaving Tracy who only shook her head to see his hasty departure.

Kyle opens the door to Claire's room from the outside, then he steps in, approaching Claire who is sitting on the sofa.

“Nona Claire,” said as she sat in front of the girl. “Im sorry about my friend's attitude. He was indeed lacking in manners.”

Claire looked at Kyle who hardly dared to reply, and then she smiled. “Nothing, Kyle. Regular fellow friend if accidentally met. But is he really just your friend? No more?” ask Claire to fish.

Kyle lowered. “Actually, I don't want to lie to Miss. Because Miss Claire has been so kind and trusted me all this time. In the past, Tracy and I dated overseas, but we're broken up now,” Kyle said honestly.

“Oh, so I see,” Claire nodded. “So, what is it here for? It doesn't seem to be staying at this hotel, does it?”

“Indeed not, Miss,” replied Kyle.

“Tracy was accepted as Mr. Raven's secretary earlier. And tomorrow he will start working.”

“Secretary?” reset Claire. “So she's the one Caroline introduced, like Raven said last night?” thought Claire.

“Betul, Miss,” replied Kyle clarify.

Claire asked curiously, “Do you think Tracy is suitable to work for Mr Raven?”

Kyle replied hesitantly, “In fact if in terms of quality, Tracy is quite smart and does not disappoint. He can do everything right and fast. We used to have an office, so I know him well. It's just...,” Kyle didn't continue.

“What's free, Kyle?” claire asked to know.

“It's just,” Kyle continued, ”Tracy is the guy who likes to do anything he likes, no matter what will hurt others,” told him..

“What is it that you guys broke up? You don't like that trait, do you?” urge Claire.

“He's no match for me, Claire,” Kyle explained. “I thought at first she was a smart girl. But after being with her for some time, I also realized that she was not the right girl for me.”

Claire looked at the old Kyle. This time Kyle returned his gaze. Boldly enough, Kyle changed seats next to Claire. Gently and carefully, he grabbed Claire's hand in his grasp, then kissed her slowly.

Heart's pounding. It felt like he had long harbored his feelings for Claire, but the girl seemed to not know that the man loved and expected her. Claire only knew Kyle was working for her and was always ready to take any orders from her. The rest, Claire thinks Kyle is a male figure who is ready to protect her at all times, like Raven in the past.
