Chapter 4.
That man is in front of Claire right now. His body image is tall and athletic. The appearance of his face is very attractive with masculine curves like a real man. And his eyes felt deep.
For a moment Claire felt her heart thump as the man looked at her. He doesn't know what to say. His lips wanted to make a sound but the man's gaze made him speechless.
Fortunately Raven broke the silence between them.
"Here you go, your new assistant, Claire,” said Raven as if understanding the discomfort Claire felt.
The man referred to by Raven took two steps forward, and now he was only a meter away from where Claire was, next to the bookcase.
“Include, my name is Kyle, Miss,” he stretched out his burly hand, and inevitably the misbehaved Claire greeted him at a glance.
"Claire,” reply Claire short. Quickly he pulled his hand back from the man's hands. As if seriously, he corrected the location of the book he had taken from the bookshelf in the large closet in his study.
“Beautiful name, Miss,” praise the man.
Claire pretended not to hear the compliment. He calmly walked between Raven and Kyle, towards his desk a few meters away from where he was standing.
Claire dropped herself on the chair, then looked at Raven and Kyle who were walking towards her. His lips remained silent.
"You don't want to ask me anything, Claire?” asked Raven was astonished, because Claire seemed not so enthusiastic about asking.
Claire breathed for a moment. Tapping the ballpoint pen on his desk that he was holding as soon as he sat down. Then he said, “So, your name is Kyle?” slowly tanyanya. He sharpened his gaze on the figure of the man in front of him.
And as if powerless reply was stared at like that, Kyle looked down, “Betul, Miss!” answer's short.
Claire looked more closely at the person, from the tip of the foot to the tip of the head. Since Kyle was looking down, Claire noticed him more easily. He guessed, the man was only four or five years older than him.
"Alright, Kyle. From today, you work for me,” Claire decides while doodling a scrap piece of paper.
Raven breathed a sigh of relief. He approached Kyle and patted his shoulder twice. “Well, Kyle. Miss Claire has accepted you. Work well. I think Rachel told you what your job was, didn't she?”
Kyle nodded. “Where is my room?” tanyakanya.
Claire paused for a moment. With the tip of his eyes he glanced at the two male figures standing in front of him.
Equally big-looking and masculine-faced, it's just that Raven is a little straighter and younger. The look on his face is also more pleasing to the eye with a cool and macho haircut. While Kyle has a sharp eye highlight, if you look as if you want to stab to the middle of Claire's heart.
Raven proposed, “How about Kyle's workspace just being put together with your workspace, Claire?” ask Raven. “That'll make it easier if you want Kyle to do something for you. You can also directly ask him because Kyle has been experienced in this field for dozens of years thanks to his work abroad. Ohya, I don't think anyone would dare to bother you later when they see a body guard next to you.”
"Yes...,” Claire only answered a word, then resumed her doodles on the used paper.
“You can sit on the sofa first, Kyle,” Raven told as he pointed towards the sofa in Claire's room. “While I ask Caroline to arrange everything for you and hold a place for you.”
“Iya, thank you,” Kyle nodded once.
“Raven....,” call Claire to Raven who's getting ready to get out.
“What's up, Claire?” Raven turned back and waited for a moment for an order from Claire.
"Mmm.., I don't think I need a driver anymore, because now there's Kyle. So I asked for a special car for both of us.”
"If that's what you want, I'll do it,” said Raven as she bowed slightly. Then he glanced at Kyle at a glance and turned his body out of the room.
"He's just one of my old friends, Miss,” Kyle told me.
“Iya, the old friend who introduced you to me,” Claire said in a tone that held a meaning that was hard to guess.
Kyle lowered. “Thank you because Miss has accepted me,” she said slowly.
Claire smiled thinly. It felt like this time Kyle saw the smile of Claire who had felt cold. It turns out that the girl will look more beautiful and gentle if she smiles again.
"Before you start working for me, you have to promise me three things,” Claire explained breaking the silence.
"What is it, Miss?” kyle asked to know
“First, you have to do whatever I tell you,” tell Claire.
“I agree, because it is my duty,” Kyle replied quickly.
Claire continued, “Second, you have to keep it a secret from anyone about what I told you.”
“It's not hard,” again Kyle agrees.
"And third, you're no longer in touch with Rachel.”
"Why is that, Miss?” kyle asked in wonder.
"Don't ask why! You mind?” ask Claire sharply.
“Mmm..., I don't think so,” Kyle finally agreed.
Claire went back to silence and continued to doodle. Curious about what Claire had drawn earlier, Kyle walked over and stole a look.
He was surprised to see Claire's results. There's something in there! Claire painted it very clearly and precisely. Kyle never thought that Claire had such great painting talent. Soon he finished his painting.
“This is for you!” Claire handed the scrawled paper to Kyle. “You save first, I'll explain to you what you have to do. Ohya, don't let anyone else see it. Okay?”
Kyle received the paper and his heart thumped at Claire's graffiti. There are clearly drawn scenes that are in sequence like a cergam. The people in the picture are also very familiar. But Kyle didn't understand what Claire was drawing all of that for and told him to keep the picture.
A moment later, Caroline walks in with two male employees carrying tables and chairs for Kyle.
“Put it there,” Claire hints at the two people.
Then came the next two people who brought computers and work equipment for Kyle. They arranged the computer and the work equipment on the table that had just been brought in.
'Is it this way?” caroline asked Kyle and Claire.
“Yes, I think so,” Claire replied representing Kyle. “You can go now, thank you.”
After Caroline and her people left, Claire looked back at Kyle, “Remember what I said and what you understood, because only then could you survive working for me. Otherwise, it means you are not the right person for me and should go,” he said firmly.
