Ch 60 – Massacre

Goblin Commander and Warren equal – equal screaming.

Hearing their commander's command, the Goblins raised their swords then charged straight in, a trace of madness emanating from these Goblins.

With such a large number of Goblins, it was only a matter of time for adventurers to be destroyed.

“All docked, Tanker use your Shield energy, Spearman attack from the Tanker gap, Swordman slash those who break through” despite the chaotic circumstances Warren tried to remain calm.

Although his death was in sight, but Warren did not want him to die just like that without successfully giving a fight.

As well as the adventurers, they were aware and prepared to lose their lives, and it was highly unlikely that they could survive this battle, but they were not tame animals that had no resistance, either, they are unyielding humans despite being aware that opportunities are almost non-existent.

Backed by Warren's orders, the adventurers were increasingly convinced that they should fight as much and as they could.

As Warren commanded, the Tankers began to install their Shield energy, which instantly formed a wall of energy that again protected the adventurers.

But the difference was, now that their distance to the Goblins was very close, even they could see how excited these Goblins were to destroy the shield and annihilate them.

Meanwhile, in the rear of the Goblins, several Goblin Commander snorted because they could not join in slaughtering the adventurers.

This is due to the small number of adventurers that exist while their number of Goblins is more than five hundred making one fifth of the Goblins alone is enough to surround and suppress adventurers.

“Cih what you guys did, quickly destroy them, there are still many humans that we have to slaughter” one of the Goblin Commander grumbled.

The visible state now is the Goblins who have bled – blood with many wounds on their bodies while maintaining their determination, the Goblins still have high vitality.

Meanwhile the adventurers were getting cornered, the Shield energy of the Tankers was dwindling, and the Spearman and Swordman were already overwhelmed by the many Goblins before them.

“Garu, Toad we start”

“Ya” answer in unison both.

“You all open the way” Garu arrived – suddenly shouted, simultaneously his subordinates gave way “Heavy Slash” Garu swung his great sword and instantly smashed the Shield belonging to the Tankers.

“Woahhhh” the defense was destroyed, and the Goblins immediately started to slay the exhausted Tankers defending the Shield.

“Mage land do” Warren immediately gave his orders, he could not let his Tankers be slaughtered just like that.

“Yes, Grounder Break” with adventurers at its center the ground around the adventurers began to tremble, making the Goblins' footing unbalanced.

“Mage Api”

“Yes, Fire Ring!!”

“Fire Blast!!”

“Advance Fireball!!”

“Mage Wind”

“Ya Air Flow Disaster”

Not yet exhausted the attacking fire magic, the wind type magic came to help further add energy to the fire magic and make the previous attack even bigger.

“You dare to slaughter my troops!!” Toad immediately roared to see his men one by one roasted out “Wave Controll Reverse!!” by stretching out his hands Toad held back and turned the fire energy belonging to the adventurers.

“Cancel your magic” Warren did not expect the Goblins to have the ability to reverse the magic that attacked them.

Unfortunately the fire energy was too great to be undone just like that, the fire energy crashed into the Spearman and Swordman as the second layer of adventurers after the loss of the protecting Tankers.

“Woahhh”

When the fire energy was canceled, Spearman and Swordman were already severely wounded, and saw the reversal of the attack by their commander the Goblins were back on their hands and massacring the already wounded adventurers.

All of these events took place quickly, the attacks alternated, the attack grooves changed many times – times, with traces of red and green colored blood fused together on the ground, the corpses of the adventurers mixed with the Goblins.

The massacre clearly occurred right before the eyes of adventurers including Warren who could still survive, all the efforts, skills and abilities they had given, he said, but it was clear that it was not enough and now death was clearly in front of them.

But the strange thing is that adventurers do not show the slightest expression of despair, even Warren, in Warren's mind he accepts with all his heart what will happen, at least Warren has tried his best, he said, but the only regret he felt was that Warren could not reveal who had betrayed him in the form of a Kiev.

When the moment – the last moment it happened, a miracle happened.

“Radiant Night Dark Illusion” arrived – suddenly heard a loud voice from behind.

Instantly the atmosphere changed, black clouds arrived – arrived overshadowed the land, the cold air that gripped just like that, day arrived – suddenly changed the following night with all the darkness that followed.

Blurring the views of the Goblins belongs to the Warren group as well, but the difference is that the Goblins who are close to the Warren group are all in a daze like losing their mind while the Warren group is just confused to see such a situation.

“You quickly retreated backwards, the main force not far behind me” arrived – arrived there was someone riding a horse approaching them.

“Yes I have come to your aid, and now you rush back and take refuge, do not waste the time I gave you”

Yes Richard who came to help Warren and the other adventurers, previously Richard rode to overtake the main army but after successfully chasing the main army Richard thought of something else.

In his mind, if Richard joined and walked with the main force it was likely that Warren and the other adventurers had already been slaughtered by the Goblins and when they came it was too late.

Because Richard already knew how terrifying and how ruthless these Goblins were in slaughtering the human race.

Therefore Richard immediately spurred his horse again and again broke away, although his actions were briefly opposed by some alliance leaders but Richard remained with his decision.

And sure enough, if only Richard had hesitated for even an instant, perhaps all he would have encountered were the corpses of all adventurers.

“Both Sir” Warren and the other adventurers obey Richard's orders, although the Goblins are in illusory status and could have attacked and killed them, but now saving lives is the most important thing for them.

Although Richard's illusory Skill covered a large area, but unfortunately the skill still could not reach all the Goblin troops, even Gamo and his army could still see what happened to the Goblin in front of him.

But because of the thick night fog even though they are not exposed to illusions, the distance of view itself has been reduced to such an extent that Gamo cannot see what his prey is doing.
