Ch 01 – Old Waiter

One night in the depths of the forest east of Grand Middle Earth, precisely in Green Lantern Forest seen a woman was running in a hurry – gesa while holding a small baby in her lap.

The woman ran recklessly, like she didn't know which direction to go, and often she looked back just to make sure she wasn't being followed.

Feeling that the – people chasing her were left far behind, the woman pulled over and stopped next to a large tree with lush scrubland near the ground.

“Yang noble prince forgive me for this disturbance, his highness prince rest for a while here, I will take care of the soldiers first”

There was the sound of a group of people running over with several torches in their hands.

“Where did the old waiter run? Quickly you search for traces, lest our pursuit mission end in vain –, if this mission fails, the emperor's majesty will behead us” a commander shouted in the middle – middle of his army.

“Iya commander” answered the entire army that began to spread looking for traces of the existence of the old servant.

“Sial why the old woman can master some magic, if not already from earlier I can catch him” grumbled the commander.

On the other hand the old woman who was also a servant was whispering her last few words to the baby.

“Your highness prince, they have managed to catch up to us, now we part here for a while, please sleep soundly prince, Cast Magic Sleep, please, Silent and illusion” with it the servant's palm lit up with a small magic intensity.

With sleep magic allows the young prince to fall asleep for a long time, and silent magic allows no noise interference from the surrounding state while strengthening the sleep spell.

As for Illusion magic, it allows changing the circumstances around, messing with vision, very suitable to trick the enemy, or hide an item.

After making sure his magic worked, the servant started running back, the servant purposely informed him of his whereabouts to attract the attention of the pursuing soldiers.

With a movement that was quite shocking made some soldiers gasp before they finally shouted to tell the whereabouts of the servant.

“The old servant's commander is here !!”

“Commander we found the old waiter!!”

“The old servant is holding a baby!!”

Various shouts were heard from the front troops, so that not long after the news reached the ears of the commander.

“Good, now we pursue him, lest we lose back his trail” The commander immediately gave the order.

“Assassin do your duty lest you be fooled back by his illusion magic” The commander glanced at the two men who were beside him with a cold gaze.

“You can be sure the commander, we will not lose for the second time, the last time we were caught unprepared and had to be fooled by his magic, he said, but now we have prepared ourselves - each” one of the Assassins firmly claims its success.

“Good now you guys rush ahead, and ambush the old waiter” Commander immediately give his orders.

“Ready do” answered both Assassins in unison.

The two Assassins instantly used their Stealth skill and immediately disappeared into nothingness.

Meanwhile on the front lines, the soldiers immediately ran after the old servant, they were unwilling to lose track of him back.

“The Mage limit his movement” a soldier carrying a shield yells.

“Archer, immediately paralyze his movement” back another soldier shouted as well.

“Earth Wall”

With the end of the soldier's shout several arrows shot straight towards the old servant's run, it continued with the cry of earth-type magic that produced a stone wall at the designated location.

Seeing this the old servant smiled.

“I've been waiting for you Bind Thorn, Advance Fire Ball” along with the arrival of the attack from the servicemen turned around and responded to give an attack.

Instantly the bodies of the frontline soldiers were twisted by the thorns of – sharp thorns that were creeping from the ground, and restricting their movement, plus the enormous Fire Ball spell was being concentrated in the hand of the old servant.

“Release” The voice of the servant, signifying the prefix of the Fire Ball spell that shot towards the soldiers.

“Shield Barrier” all warriors in unison using their skills, and a moment later an energy barrier formed stacking against each other, causing the energy barrier to become extremely thick.

A moment later an energy crash occurred, with a loud explosion of the surrounding area unprotected by the barrier completely destroyed as a result of the Fire Ball explosion.

While the soldiers even though they were already using defensive skills, they were still subjected to significant pressure where their Barrier energy was instantly destroyed and they were pushed a few steps back.

Although no one was seriously injured but the soldiers were greatly shocked by the strength of the Advance Fire Ball, as they remembered, their defensive skills should be able to withstand some similar magic.

But what the soldiers did not know was that Bind Thorn's previous magic in addition to limiting movement also had the ability to weaken the opponent's defensive skills that were wrapped in thorns.

Seeing the shocked expression the Soldiers were showing made the servant want to give a follow-up attack, but his magic attack had to come to a halt as the servant sensed a strong killing intent that was coming towards him.

‘Hmm, it must be the Imperial Assassin that I had gotten rid of’ the waiter guessed who issued such thick killing intent.

Actually an Assassin who could not resist his killing intent meant that the Assassin was not in a state of calm, and of course it would affect their sneak attacks, as well as the questionable quality of the Assassin.

But for the two Imperial Assassins, they both considered the old maids as prey that was on a plate that they could snatch at anytime they wanted.

Hence they did not hold back even the slightest of their killing intent, coupled with the previous event where the two of them were easily deceived by the old servant further adding to the anger of the two Imperial Assassins.

With the Earth Wall restricting the wiggle room of the old maids, the two Assassins carried out pincer attacks from two different directions, setting up their extremely sharp Dagger as they prepared to impart their strongest skills.

A moment before the Dagger was able to slash the body of the old servant.

The waiter smiled slightly and chanted a simple magic, “Blink” along with it the old servant's body disappeared leaving behind an afterimage that looked like laughing at the two Assassins slashing at him.

The servant teleported instantly forward through the towering Earth Wall separating him from the soldiers.

Although Blink is only a simple teleport magic that moves the body of a Mage by a few meters, but the use of Blink by the servant is very precisely combined with the enemy Earth Wall, and it is now turned to their own detriment.

“Acceleration” the waiter did not want to play – play again, it was enough for him to attract the attention of the soldiers, now it's time for him to properly – properly run away from this area.

“Old Server !!!” the two Assassins were shouting with their dead red faces holding back an enormous amount of anger, their pride had already been twice humiliated by the old servant.

“Mage fools immediately cancel your magic” an Assassin finally roared shedding his frustration towards the mage who took out the Earth Wall.

The Mage instantly canceled the Earth Wall quickly, but unfortunately when the Earth Wall disappeared the old servant had already disappeared back from their sight.

“Mage immediately do Detection”

“The servant ran towards this Sir” a Mage without having to be ordered to have Detection, detecting the movement of the old servant.

“Bagus” the two Imperian Assassins glanced at each other and then used Stealth back, they went back to chasing the old servant.

“What are you doing?!!” not long after a heavy voice emerged from the end of the rearguard, their commander had caught up with them to the frontline.

“Where's that old waitress?”

“Both Sir Imperial Assassin is chasing them Sir”

“Did that old waitress manage to escape back?”

The soldiers could only bow their heads, they could not dodge the words of their commander, in reality they indeed could not hold back the old servant.

“Idiot, I shouldn't have asked you to do this task” the commander just snorted venting resentment in his heart.

“What are you guys doing, immediately follow up the two Imperial Assassins it”

“Ya commander” soon the soldiers returned to their pursuit, accompanied by the commander.

Amidst this pursuit, inevitably the commander thought, ‘Who exactly is this old servant?’
