My Own Path: The Red Phoenix

My Own Path: The Red Phoenix
Ch 21 – Oldie Tribal

“Chief, may I know when we will go to slaughter the humans” one of the Goblin Commander asked.

“In a moment, wait until Oldie Tribal gives his orders”

The Goblin Chief stood up and called out his voice.

“Consideration! My whole team, enjoy our opening party today, and look forward to a bigger party soon ha ha ha ha”

“Groaahhhh” answered the entire goblin army while lifting a wine glass made of stone.

“Glory for the nation Goblin” Goblin Chief is back roaring.

“Life Chief!! Hail Chief!! Alive Chief !!!” goblin sounds echoed throughout the cave.

“Gamo what more do you want!?” Goblin Chief glanced at the Gamo Goblin Commander who asked.

“No Chief, I'm just worried about a few humans earlier, they could have reported our whereabouts here”

“Continue!” Goblin Chief frowned.

“I'm afraid they'll have time to prepare, then come attack us here” replied Gamo doubtfully.

“Hoy!!” Goblin Chief immediately gripped the neck Gamo “Since when we the Goblin nation was afraid of the fool's humans” Goblin Chief said softly beside Gamo's ears.

While Gamo's face turned a little pale, looks difficulty breathing. Goblin Chief continued his words. “Remember this! since you are one of the talented Commanders in my army, and today my mood is good, I will let you this time, but no other time mark it” Goblin Chief threw Gamo towards the floor.

“Good Chief” Gamo immediately woke up and bowed his head.

“Go you!” Goblin Chief expels Gamo.

As for the other Goblins, they did not care about the state of Gamo, all rejoicing in their party.

Gamo moved to the corner of the cave, he pondered back to Goblin Chief “Yes I am a Goblin, why should I be afraid of them, what is with my thoughts today”

Gamo pensive long enough, thinking about the fear he felt, Gamo thought what might be because their race had been hiding too long so he had a thought like that.

Goblins themselves were once one of the Elf races, just like elves in general, and the appearance of these Goblins is very charming in addition to the small Goblin body size adds to its own charm.

Unfortunately behind his small body was stored great greed.

Goblins have a tendency to prefer treasures such as gold, gems and their diversity over nature, therefore they were very active in collecting treasures until one day this Goblin race found a mine filled with jewels in it.

Long story short they exploit it to the end, but they are not complacent, and begin to dig the ground, destroy mountains, find and create new mines.

This made the Nature Forest Tree a huge tree that the elven races recognized as their ancestor wrathful.

Since it was considered destroying the natural ecosystem, the Nature Forest Tree cursed the Goblin race on the spot, seen by all the Elf races, the Goblin's appearance began to change.

From the start of the color of his green skin accompanied by wrinkles – small wrinkles, the face that turns more creepy, more elongated pointed ears, and teeth that turn into a row of sharp fangs.

Directly these Goblin changes were visible to the entire Elf, on that same day the Goblin race became the race with the lowest glory rank among the Elves and on that day they were expelled from the East Moon Forest the birthplace of the Elves.

The event also served as a reminder to all Elves that they must always respect nature as their ancestors if they do not want to share the fate of the Goblins, and from then on the belief of the Elf race towards nature became even higher, even considering the Nature Forest Tree as their god.

Because of this reason as well which made the elves hate the human race, they considered the human race as a race that did not know themselves, why? Because the human race has no power what – what (other than their large number) but they still damage and utilize nature for their own benefit.

With that in mind, the Elves began to slaughter the human race, plus the Nature Forest Tree did not punish those who slaughtered humans, further adding to the Elves' beliefs.

Even so with the Goblins, they thought that by slaughtering the human race, they could restore their honor before the Nature Forest Tree, which then led to the re-appointment of their race.

Because in their hearts, these Goblins still wanted their former status.

At first glance Goblins look like monsters that fight using their muscles, without thinking they will instantly lunged to defeat their enemies.

But behind it all their leaders are a cunning and greedy Goblin who is full of tactics.

Evidently, when a great war occurred at that time, the entire alliance army exerted all their efforts to wipe out the existence of the human race, only the Goblin race chose to avoid the battle.

With time and place aligned, these Goblins shed some of their blood on the ground, they began to disperse, and simultaneously various attacks from the human race came crashing. The timing of the match allowed the Goblins to escape, and at the same time made an alibi for the alliance army that their existence had been dispensed with by the humans.

Seeing the Goblin army not remaining at all the alliance troops were dumbfounded in shock, for then they strengthened the ranks and began to take this battle seriously.

But all the tricks of the Goblins can be known by the leader of the Elves and the commanders of other elf groups.

At first this Elf leader, would express their thoughts, but seeing the situation, the Elf leader immediately calmed down and forbade them from divulging the findings.

The elf leader thought this event could encourage the spirit of the alliance army, and lighten the burden of the Elf race, whereas for the Goblin these Elf leaders would reconsider after they ended the battle.

However ill-fated the battle ended with the victory of the human race, and the alliance army including the Elf race, could only escape alongside the Demon race to another world, leaving the Immortal World.

As for the Goblins they were grateful that their race had not perished, and they did not need to leave the Immortal World.

Yet they were also quite worried about the ability of the human race that could repel the alliance army, too, therefore the Goblin leader gave orders to the whole goblins to spread and live with their group of – each.

Continuing to strengthen and enrich themselves, the Goblin leaders give orders that the Goblins resist their desire to destroy the human race, waiting in the dark and letting these humans rest on their laurels and forget about their threats, only then will these Goblins come up with a surprise.

Listening to the orders of their leader, these Goblins agreed to it unconditionally, in their eyes the figure of their leader was already a demigod character, which could bring salvation, glory, even resurrection for the Goblin Race.

Thousands of years passed, generations came and went, the young grew old, and the old began to fall, but the grudges against these Goblins were still burning, the desire for recognition in their hearts was still burning, there were even some groups who could not resist their desires and started wandering around the forest killing the humans, only to be slaughtered again by the humans.

Hearing this, the leader reacted, he reasserted his troops, and promised that soon the time would come for their Goblin race to slaughter the humans.

Then the leader returned to his hermitage, closing his eyes again into silence again, only to sharpen his senses in search of the right time for them to make a move.

Until one day the leader opened his eyes again, with a sparkle of spirit emanating from his eyes the leader came out of his hermitage to then give orders to his subordinates.

“Tell the whole team, Get ready!! The massacre was about to begin” an evil grin was painted on his face.

“Ya Oldie Tribal”

...

Meanwhile, inside the Behemoth City City City's ruling Mansion precisely in the city lord's workroom, Richard was riled looking at the jade bottle that was before him.

“Sial, why did they reappear” Richard touched his wrinkled forehead, many memories surfaced inside his head.

Long ago when Richard was still an imperial knight, he was once assigned to kill a group of green-colored Monsters, which they later came to know as the Goblin race.

In Richard's memory, although this group of Goblins only consisted of 7 Goblins, but these Goblins had massacred the society and the soldiers in Apprentice's realm, but they had already killed the people, even when Richard slaughtered these Goblins he had 10 Master realm warriors beside him still it was not an easy battle.

“Warren said that there is a lot of goblin blood along the wall of the cave, you can be sure there are more than dozens of goblins in the cave.”

“Added with this new information I received, directing me to go there”

“What the man intends to kill me without dirtying his hand.” Richard concluded.

"Siall !!!” Richard hit the table “If only I could track who sent the letter”

Richard dropped himself the recline of the chair, Richard tried to calm himself.

Later then.

“Yes despite this attempted murder, but thanks to it I knew that a group of Goblins were in front of my yard, I had to report it immediately to the noble king of Mountain Sage Kingdom”

“Servant call Audrey to meet me!!” Richard shouted to the waiter outside the room.

After that Richard immediately took out the paper and the questioner, and began to write a plea letter to the noble king of the Mountain Sage Kingdom.

“Behemoth City is not good – fine” Richard muttered.
