My Mr's. Virgin

My Mr's. Virgin
Chapter X

It's already dusk. The sun is almost back to its surface. After meeting with Mr. Yos, sister Marta, mother Ita, and Mr. Piter at a restaurant, then visit the orphanage and play with the children, he even went to buy a laptop to replace his damaged property. Now he was sitting on a rock, under a mango tree, by the side of the road when the third time he met Mariana, on the first day he arrived in this city, while smothering a cell phone on the edge of his ear.

There was a giggling voice of Ben across the street, after hearing his story about his meeting with Mariana a few days ago.

["Ha-ha-ha!"]

"Stop laughing!" angry Andreas.

["No! Nah! I can't stop. I was imagining how you looked at that time."] Andreas grunts.

["You're afraid of women, but you let women hang like monkeys behind you. What was his name?"]

"Madriana."

["Aah, Mariana. I gotta get a thumbs up for him."]

"Bab!" Andreas screeching. "I met him four times that day. You know what not? I'm boarding at her house." Andreas is back to telling stories.

["That's right, man! You see you four times? Three times people say 'that's a soul mate' if four times that, 'more soul mate' ... Ha-ha-ha!"]

"More soulmates, what does that mean?" ask Andreas.

["Stupid to the end!"] yelling Ben across ended the laughter that could deafen Andreas.

"Cis! Ask to be kept. I closed, ", said Andreas

["Hey, buddy! Don't shut! Dude! Hey!"] Andreas has decided on their call. Ben was still sitting on the sofa, staring at the cell phone in hand.

"Haha!" He was still laughing, inviting Susi who had just come out of the kitchen to look at him in wonder.

"I was curious about the woman" he said, looking at his wife. Susi just raised her forehead as if asking 'who?'

"Later to tell me," he answered.

Back to Andreas. The man had already left the place, far ahead, setting his pace regularly towards Mariana's house.

...***...

"Bang!" call him to a tall, white man sitting in front of him, puffing cigarette smoke from his mouth and nose.

The man glanced at the circular clock on his left wrist. Not a branded watch. But it was special, because of the gift from the person who called him. Only ten minutes left, the hour hand shows at one in the morning.

"Go home! Today there are not many visitors" the man replied as if understanding the meaning of the call.

She smiles. "Meet tomorrow" he said. The man smiled, nodding.

He tidied up his work, wiped and kept the rest of the glass on the shelf. He hurried to leave the table, waving his hand. On the way to the locker room, he met some of his friends, said hello just to mince words, then left them with the story of that day, or yesterday? Because now the day has changed.

After changing clothes, he walked out towards his bike which was located in a corner near the power pole. He stared for a moment at the signboard with colorful twinkling lights.

'RED ROSE CLUB.' A place full of memories about likes and sorrows, about love and tears, about their struggle to get the value of rupiah.

He took his bike and pedaled slowly.

Mariana paddled her bike at a normal speed, breaking the silence of the night, splitting the silence of Reinha City. The night sky is only sprinkled with stars without the moonlight. There is a feeling of longing in the quiet half of the night, when everyone is asleep cradled in dreams.

"Let's! You're not afraid to come home at night?" daniel asked one night, when he came to pick up Mariana, while pedaling Mariana's butute bike. Mariana sat in the back as a passenger.

"No" answered Mariana. He hugged Daniel's waist.

"But I'm worried." Slender. Only the sound of wheel friction with the asphalt floor.

"We're married, huh?" Daniel proposed again. Countless times have Daniel asked to marry.

"Your family has not agreed" replied Mariana.

"You're married to me, not my family."

"Who said? The parents said, getting married is not only with their partner, but with their family as well. Because marriage is a bridge to harden the relationship of two families."

"Let's! My family doesn't agree, it's because you still work at the club."

"Then, what's the problem if I work at a club?" His voice is no longer friendly. For four years he worked at nightclub owned by Abang Budi. That means they are four years old and their love age.

"For me, you quit, huh?" daniel Pinta.

"You already have your own business." A business that was only a year old corn opened, although Mariana started the business since entering High School.

"I'm sure my family will give you their blessing when you stop." Mariana kept jumping off the bike. Daniel was surprised, unable to balance his bike, eventually fell.

Mariana walked over, then sat on the shoulder of the road, watching Daniel walk towards her and sitting beside her.

Her memory returned a few days ago when she met Dita's mother, Daniel's mother, at a restaurant near her shop.

"Putusin And. End your relationship with Dan!" Mother Dita made a sound, after putting her ass on the chair. Even the waiter had not come to take their order.

Mariana was not surprised. He used to hear those requests. Dita's mother's pretty face flushed red, when she saw no response from Mariana. The girl just silently looked at him. Not to rebuke or just to greet.

'beautiful. Yellow skin, probably due to lack of sun. Big, round eyes. Long dark hair is slightly curly. Although without any makeup, but the skin of his face clean well maintained, ' his heart his mother Dita.

"Until any time, I will never bless your relationship" said Dita's mother.

"I'm going to stop working at the club, Tanta. I'll focus on my store" Mariana said.

"Then, what's the difference?" Dita's mother paused for a moment, because the waiter came asking for the order. They just ordered drinks.

"That's where you've been." Mariana clenched her hands under the table. He's still quiet not poking.

"My family, good people." Mother Dita sat leaning back, hugging the body. His pair of eyes stared intently at Mariana, trying to dominate the atmosphere.

"You don't deserve to be in my family. Even a single germ you're not worth it." Mariana salivates. He knows it. They are a distinguished family. Ibu Dita himself a lecturer at IKTL university (Larantuka Institute of Teacher Training and Technology), her husband Pak Lukas, Daniel's father a Police Chief in their city.

Daniel graduated from Gadjah Mada University majoring in medicine, now interning at the General Hospital in their city. His name is quite famous as a talented young doctor. Not to mention Daniel's older sister with her husband.

While her? Just a farm boy. Workers at nightclubs. Hang out with prostitutes and other sinners.

"Before you fell in love with my son, you should have mirrored yourself." Dita's mother stopped again, as the waiter brought their order. "Don't count on the look and the body to captivate a man" he continued.

"Ah, I forgot." He patted his forehead.

"I forgot, if you were born from the womb of a woman who seduces people's husbands." Mariana clenched her teeth. Jaw hardens. His eyes were bright red. He wanted to slap someone in front of him.

"Oh, are you angry?" Dita smiled mockingly.

"Yes, I'm angry" replied Mariana. His eyes were angry.

"Tanta can insult me, anger me, maki me though, but tanta has no right to insult my family. Tanta's not entitled because tanta doesn't know anything about my family!" His right hand clasped his drink glass, squeezing it to pieces in his grasp.

A few glass shardings pierced into his palm. Blood dripped, but, not cared for. Fortunately the restaurant was quiet, as it was still at 11:00 a.m. The waiter in the restaurant looked at them, but no one dared to approach.

"You seem to want to kill me the most, or are you thinking of setting me on fire, like you did with your friend?" Mother Dita's voice trembled slightly. His head is slightly scratched.

"True," answered Mariana, "if there was a law that did not prohibit killing people, I would have killed Santa. Or does Tanta want to try what it's like to be burned?" He grins. Then smile.

"Hand family? Ha-ha-ha!" He laughed mockingly.

"Tanta's way of speaking, directly does not reflect an educated person. Rather than Tanta teaching humans, I suggest Tanta teach monkeys in my garden. There's a lot in the woods."

Dita's mother's right hand floated in the air, almost landing on Mariana's left cheek. However, her hand stopped in midair as Mariana clasped her hand. So did the left hand that almost landed on the right cheek.

Mariana grabbed both hands of Mother Dita, squeezed hard, until Dita's mother felt pain.

"Let go!" dita's mother's orders. Mariana said she threw Dita's mother's hand violently against the table.

Bugh!

Mom's eyes bulging furiously*.

"You!"

"Oh, Tanta's mad?" He returned the words of Mother Dita.

"Sound ya, Tanta?" Mariana caught her breath, trying to ease the flames of her anger.

"It's not just Tanta's son that's in this world. If Tanta wants Tanta's son back, take it!" He smiled mockingly.

"But Tanta knows how deep the love of the child is in me. If we part later, it is not me who suffers, but the son of Tanta who suffers the most. As Tanta said, I was born from the womb of a woman who seduces people's husbands."

"That's not going to happen," Dita's mother argued quickly.

"Oh, Santa is so sure!"

"Of course, because I've been providing the best women for Dan. I'm sure he's capable of making my son happy."

"okay! Let's see it later!" Mariana smiled mockingly. Dita's mother stood up to take her bag, passed away leaving Mariana with a cocky feeling.

Mariana's smile faded with the fall of the precious pearl from her eye sling, which she had been holding back, leaving behind an incantation that sliced through the heart.
