The story is told of a 19-year-old woman named Laras. She spoke English, making the girl a tour guide in the local area, for tourists from various countries, raked in more rupiah to help the family economy which is now in a slump.
Barrel never thought of anything else. He just wants to work well, and earn the wages he should.
Until he was met by a German tourist, named Alex. Initially mediocre, their closeness is only limited to tourists with his tour guide. But as time goes on, the two have an interest in each other.
They are both aware of it, but no one wants to convey that feeling.
The nature of Laras who is always gentle in speaking words, becomes a special attraction for the foreign man. And vice versa, Laras admired Alex for having such great sympathy, besides the face of the man who really looks handsome.
Blue eyes, shiny brown hair, a sharp nose, and a firm jaw.
Their relationship is getting better. As well as Alex's relationship with the Laras family, they are really familiar like someone to his family.
About three weeks Alex vacationing in Indonesia, visiting various places and tourist destinations that Laras suggested, including culinary specialties each daera each.
"But I have to go home now. Thanks for everything."
The man speaks in English.
Laras smiled, he nodded, accompanying the user of his services who was currently about to travel to the airport.
"Thank you for visiting, hope you don't spend the holidays here." Laras answered.
"You're the best driver I've ever met." Alex praised.
Barrel smiled.
"All right, I'm leaving. One day I'm back, wait for me yah!"
"Well, we'll wait until you come again. I'm home as usual." Baras made a joke, then laughed.
The man got into the car he called to pick him up. Leaving Laras without a word of love or anything, although it is obvious they have love for each other.

"Non?" Sumi came carrying a tray with a bowl on it.
Ayumi turned her head, then she closed the book, and placed it on the table.
"Want to add rice?" Sumi offers.
Ayumi laughed hearing that, and without Ayumi realizing it she patted Sumi's arm slowly, making the woman laugh as well.
"Auntie knows, ... may be a little but yeah!" Ayumi.
"Many of them can too, many of them."
Ayumi shook her head.
"A little bit."
Sumi immediately went, walking towards the clean kitchen, where every piece of equipment was located, including the Rice cooker, dispenser, and coffee maker.
Ayumi grabbed her bowl, smelling a delicious aroma that was very, very appetizing. Seblak kwetiau, and crackers, with reddish-yellow gravy, complete with chicken suwiran, also shrimp and squid pieces.
First Ayumi stirred it up, brought a little gravy into the spoon, then sipped it very slowly.
"Whoa, that's delicious!' Ayumi shook her head.
He was amazed by such an incredible taste. Savory, spicy, also the aroma of kencur so strong. And he likes it.
"Where? Aunty's already selling seblak?" Sumi put a plate filled with rice.
While Ayumi puts down her bowl quickly, then grabs a tissue.
"Uhuk, .. uhuk, .. uhuk …"
Sumi immediately ran, opened the refrigerator, and brought a bottle of mineral water.
"Be careful!" Sumi unscrewed the bottle, patted Ayumi's throat while giving her some water, which she grabbed immediately.
"Slow down, don't be too hasty!" He rubbed Ayumi's back.
His face looks worried.
"You want milk?"
"No need, ... Aunty make just one serving?"
"It's still in the back." Sumi answered.
"Get it, we eat together. While watching Drama The world of married, let's get worse." He said that was immediately answered by a nod by Sumi.
The two women of different ages sat down, holding one portion of seblak in each other's hands, with eyes fixed on the television before him.
"Evil yah! It's obvious the guy has a wife, but it's still in the sosor." Sumi started to get carried away.
Ayumi just smiled.
"Where has his wife started to suspect again? Good career, his wife Doctor, his son is already big. Why are you still cheating try." Sumi grumbling.
This time Ayumi laughed loudly, feeling funny with the reaction of the woman beside her.
"Bi? Can I ask you?"
"Can."
"Auntie never married? What's the reason what? Is it the same as kids today? They're afraid of getting married because of the many infidelities the artists are starting to unfold?"
Sumi looked over, then smiled.
"But even a smile."
"Yes that's how."
"So stay home alone dong? Before here?"
"Yes, who else? There was nothing left but ..." Sumi stopped her speech, after she came to her senses and almost opened everything.
Ayumi looked at him, she looked waiting.
"Other than what?"
"The novel has been read all? If you want to take it and save it again!"
"Oh, .. not yet! I borrow it until it's done. I'll give it back."
"Goodly guarded! Aunty only has this book, friend when everything is …"
Kening Ayumi frowned, waiting for Sumi to continue her words. And without suspecting, or catching any strange gurgles, Ayumi just stared in silence.
Don't get carried away, don't say what not to say. Now the world is different, stay like this, or I'll get back away from her, at least you can be happy she's alive and growing up so well.
Inner Sumi monologue.
There is pain, sadness is also disappointed in himself, when he is unable to return the things he once lost to their original place.
"Auntie, why are you daydreaming?" Ayumi waved her hands.
Not in the direction of the camera or is willing to give up, but trying to wake Sumi from her daydream.
"Bi? Aunt sad dad?!" He said again as he looked at Sumi's eyes which began to glaze over.
Ayumi put down her bowl, then grabbed the bowl Sumi was holding, she placed it on the same table, and hugged the woman's body tightly.
"Lonely auntie huh? It's okay, there I am. If you want to just consider me Aunt's son from now on. Aunt know? I was born disabled, ..not physically disabled, but a family tree. I was dumped, raised by my Father and adoptive Mother who loved me so much, .. and after that I realized there were many parents who loved me like their own children, … if Auntie wants to, then consider me Aunt's son."
Deg!!
His heart felt squeezed, causing a feeling of tightness also hurt at the same time. But the more domineering feeling right now was a feeling of regret that was so great.
But there was another feeling inside him. A warmth, like a longing antidote, and it was also what Ayumi felt, made the young woman speechless, thinking of seeking an answer, what kind of feeling she was feeling right now.
"It's okay, the world can't be as good as we'd expect. Sometimes everything has a meaning and meaning of life, .. Maybe if I grew up with my parents, I wouldn't have met my brother, my husband who loves me so much now. Aunt know? I lost the love of both of my biological parents, but I got another, even bigger, love." Ayumi continued to rub Sumi's back, hugging her tightly until the woman cried in her arms.
