My Lovely Office Girl's

My Lovely Office Girl's
Complicated relationship

"It's far from where you live, isn't it?" Amar followed Una's steps.

The man decided to come back, after work had arrived. And lucky this time Una allowed him to come home after several rejections as usual.

"Lumayan, from the stop I have to walk first into the alley. Tired right? That's why I forbid you to come along, the road is far away!" Una turned his head, looked at the handsome face of his lover who looked slightly flushed and let out a streak of sweat.

Amar gave a smile, then he tried to get closer and embrace Una's shoulder.

"Don't want to find a contract close to work?" He asked with a heart beating.

2 Years is not a short time. However, there has been no significant progress. They only often communicate through a video call connection rather than meeting in person, because distance is indeed the reason for both.

Meet in open areas, spend time in crowded places that are certainly visited by many people. Whether it's the food court mall, or the city park in the afternoon, Una and Amar have no chance to do more than just hold hands.

"Show in Deket the workplace the rent is expensive. I'm afraid I can't pay" Una said, replying to Amar's embrace by hugging the man's waist.

So that now they walk with a position attached to each other.

"You remember what I was talking about after lunch? If you need help, you can tell me, maybe you can help a little."

Una laughs.

"I'm serious!"

"Yes, I know Bang Amar is serious. Just our salary alone nominally the same, .. Bang Amar also must have needs, help Father and Mother too right? So I guess if you help me later Bang Amar's salary runs out."

Amar was silent, he just remembered not saying anything about his new job.

"Well, we've arrived. Don't be surprised, it's small!" Una pointed at a row of rented doors, in the same building.

And a small wall becomes a barrier between one contract and another contract.

Amar instantly fell silent, as he stared at a building occupied by his lover. Looks small, and in a fairly shabby environment, household garbage is even seen scattered in the area there.

"There's a mother here."

Una sat himself on one of the pillars, and began to open the shoes that he had been wearing.

"You don't live alone? Aren't your parents in Bogor?"

Una nodded.

"Mother's on road in RSCM. Because the position is closer than here, so yes, .. stay with me!"

Amar looked at his lover's face.

"Since when?"

"When yeah? I forgot but it's been a while."

"What pain?"

And Una only smiled as she got the question from Amar.

The girl kept the shoes on her shelf, where there were other shoes there. Then stand up and walk towards the door, then press the handle slowly.

"Mom? Una's coming home," said Una.

A middle-aged woman was seen walking from the inside, then smiling as Una leaned over to grab and kiss the back of her hand.

"There's Bang Amar," he looked at the man who started walking towards the entrance.

The woman nodded, as if she already knew who the man this time came with her. And that is enough to make Amar confused, because what he knows, their relationship is not really known to people, besides the two of them are also one of his best friends, Aira.

"Here in, but sorry. The state of the house is not as good as other houses!" He said while continuing to smile.

Amar nodded, then he stepped in. Nothing strange, even the situation was quite good when Amar saw the situation in there. The small room is conjured in such a way that it looks warm, especially with bright yellow and typical knick-knacks of women, making the room has its own comfort.

Amar grabs the hand of her thin, dry mother-in-law, then kisses the back of her hand.

"What does Amar want to drink? Coffee or tea?" Una Tawar.

"White water alone, which is easy and does not bother you."

"Cute tea is cold? It's a long way from the stop here." Una immediately went towards the kitchen, which was at the very back of the building.

For a few minutes things turned very quiet. The two people who were there chose silence with their own thoughts, until Una felt astonished when he returned after making drinks for Amar.

"What's wrong?" Una looked at her mother and lover in turn.

"Nothing" said the mother, then laughed.

Una sighed.

"Mom, this is Bang Amar I've been telling you about."

The woman just nodded. Several times he was seen paying attention to Amar, like there was something to say.

"Ayumi's sister isn't she Dad?" Finally the woman who was familiarly called Lilis opened her voice.

"Yes, Mom."

"Far from the coast here? Just want to find Una?"

Amar nodded.

"That's great."

Una and Amar glanced at each other. At first glance there was nothing strange besides the astonished expression of Una when Amar saw her. However, if examined more deeply, there seems to be something that Una hid from his mother's attitude.

"Una said Mom was sick? What pain?" Amar tried to get more familiar.

Aruna's face looked a little pale. And Amar was more convinced, if there was anything between two different women of that age.

"It's not too severe, it's just that the doctor advised to do routine dialysis," he explained, who immediately got a nod from Amar.

Una closed his eyes.

"Bloodwashing? Isn't that bad enough, ma'am?"

"Yes, all the costs of mother's treatment are covered by insurance. It's just that sometimes it takes other costs, .. and mom only has Una to rely on. Her sisters are still in school too, so …"

"Mom!" Sergey Una.

It made the woman stop talking for a moment.

"Mom just told me, Una. Let Amar know!"

"Yes, Bang Amar just asked me why! So don't go anywhere."

"But everything has to be talked about, Aruna! So that everyone doesn't expect anything else."

Amar's forehead shriveled, his facial expression changed immediately when he saw Una and his mother starting to struggle.

"It's Una's business, mom. You just need a fee, right? For all the mother's needs? Same brothers? Una's trying to fulfill that but don't discuss anything else."

"Wait, why this?" Amar looked at Una with a questionable facial expression.

Even his eyeballs continued to twitch, trying to find out something from the look on his lover's face.

"His tea is in the drink first, brother. Come on Una Anter to Stop when it's over."

"No, what's the matter? Did you know what you said?" Amar asked.

"About us?" Amar pointed at himself.

Una was silent, he almost stood up to take Amar away from his contract. However, her mother re-opened her voice so Amar held her back just to listen.

"There is nothing wrong with marriage. That's a good thing, and that's good. But if the marriage was to be done in a fast-paced timeframe, what would be the fate of Una's mother and younger siblings? They're still in school, while her dad's gone somewhere. And if Una gets married, what's our fate, son Amar? Hows it? While after marrying Una's service was only for her husband, there was no longer any obligation to help us."

Una's heart melted, his world really felt stopped spinning. Even his brain, heart and blood were not functioning so well that he was unable to do anything.

"Mom stop, this is our problem. Nothing to do with Bang Amar! He came to visit, got to know mom well. Why did Mom say all this? I told you, I have my own way, I just keep quiet and I don't have to work hard to explain anything" she joked.

His face was flushed red, eyes glazed with chest rising and falling rapidly. It is very clear if currently Una is trying to reduce his anger.

"Listen. The kids now mostly don't understand, Una. Marriage is not only halal, then you can live together freely, doing anything of your own will. But there are a lot of problems that you have to understand, there has to be a lot of preparation, Una. Look Mother! After my mother's conviction for kidney failure, your father went somewhere."

Una grabs Amar's arm, pulls him with all her might, then takes the man out and leaves a building he lives in with his mother.

The reddish orange sky began to look more dim. The sunlight is now replaced with street lights that have started to light up on each pole. Accompanying Una and Amar who are on their way to the bus stop.

"Yes!" Amar tried to stare at himself as Una continued to pull his hand.

The girl walked very fast without much talking. Not knowing what the child and mother were talking about before, so it made Una look really angry this time.

"Darling!"

However, Una does not. The girl continued to pull her hand while walking quickly.

"Moona!"

Amar grabbed the palm of his lover, linked their teak and held back until Una could no longer do anything.

"Wait, what's going on? Wh why? You mad?"

Una closed his eyes again, inhaling as much air as possible, then exhaled slowly through his mouth.

"Bang Amar's hand is sick? Sorry dad!" Una asked, then she rubbed Amar's wrist.

"No no, just tell me what's going on" Amar said as he looked at Una softly.

However, Una immediately shook his head.

"Mom just slammed, Bang. Let it go, maybe the effect of the medicine is also so talk carelessly!"

The girl turned back, and led Amar's hand back, but in a calmer state.

"I know, I understand. Just explain a little!" Amar held his hand back.

And they both really stopped for a moment.

"Don't think about it, just go through all of this" replied Una. "Come, the streets are getting quieter, here a lot of thugs know!"

"I don't care, we have to talk. Let's find a place to tell everything!"

"Nothing to explain Brother!"

Amar shook his head.

"Let's talk!" Amar is full of emphasis.

The look in his eyes even looked extremely sharp and intimidating.

"We will fight if we continue to discuss this," declined Una.

"You covered something up?" The man's face began to change.

Una sighed again, trying to neutralize the tightness that filled his chest cavity. He smiled, then took a few steps forward until they were barely spaced apart at all.

At least that's what Una always does to dampen Amar's emotions that are always ignited faster.

"Abang has heard, so I know you will understand, …"

"Omong empty!" Sergey Amar.

The man shoved Una's shoulders until the girl took a few steps back.

"Did you?" Una's voice sounded very soft.

"What do you think these two years are? Just kidding?"

"No!" Una Resist.

"Then what is this? You're really playing me. From the beginning you asked for our relationship to be closed, no one should know. Mean what? What do you think I am, Aruna?"

"I told you, we'll fight if we talk about this, …"

"Sure!" Amar smiled similarly.

However, sadness and disappointment were clearly visible from the look on his face. And for the first time Una can not dampen the emotions of his lover.

"This question is never solved. You always cover it up, .. But just say, you can't get married because of the prohibition from your mother. That simple! But you quibble as if afraid of every news spread on social media!"

Una almost re-opened her mouth to explain.

"How many times have I tried to convince you? How times? But do you believe? No, you seem to have more and more doubts about what you're hearing."

"Ang stop!"

"You're afraid I'm like your father? Or are you afraid I won't let you help your mother? Is that all I am, Aruna?"

"alright, fine. This is a public place, can we talk about it again? Just us? In a more closed place? We become a spectacle of others."

Una looked at some passers-by, and their attention was on him as well as Amar who was at odds.

Amar shook his head, the man refused.

"Your attitude, and your mother's attitude. It's enough to let me know that you think me and my family are people who never cared."

"Not so."

"Of course it is."

"Abang is just another emotion, so everything is related. Mom just asked me to help her until she got better, or a little better. Then from that …"

"Go, bring all your fears!" Jerky Amar.

Amar passed through Una just like that, and walked quickly towards the stop that was already a few meters away from where the brand was currently.

"Don't you?"

Una running.

"Abang wait, ... What does this mean!?"

Amar didn't budge, he kept walking half-run.

"What a misunderstanding, it doesn't mean!"

The girl tried to chase Amar who was filled with anger. Nahas, the bus first arrived so that Amar can enter immediately, while he tried to catch up with Amar with the rest of his energy.

"Bang Amar?"

"Did you?"

"Gee!"

Una looked at the bus that had already run.

Not unwilling to run to catch the bus that amar ride. But all day struggling with a very extraordinary job, making his energy really no longer left.

Slowly the bus was moving further and further away, and there was nothing Una could do but stare at his departure with an agonizing heart. Something like being forcibly deprived within him, leaving behind a tremendous sense of pain.

"Wait for the next bus, Dek. It was so full that it didn't stop for long. I know about the clock, right?" An old man spoke.

Una turned his head, he nodded, then smiled.
