Chapter 37 Tells All

After cleansing himself, Prince Enzo laid his body next to the sleeping princess Artha. He looked at the girl's face with longing.

His outstretched hand stroked the princess' cheek gently. Prince Enzo's hand woke the princess.

His eyes were open, still half conscious he began to observe the face of the man who was looking at him.

"Enzo!" he cried in disbelief.

Prince Enzo just smiled lightly at princess Artha's cry.

"When are you back?" he still could not believe the figure that was suddenly in front of him at this moment.

"Just now, I've just returned." replied Prince Enzo.

Suddenly Princess Artha remembered her birthday which had been completed earlier this afternoon. His face that had been grimacing immediately turned sullen. Princess Artha turned her back to Prince Enzo.

"You said you'd be home before my birthday! I don't trust you anymore!" princess Artha said in an annoyed tone.

"I'm sorry!" prince Enzo is slow. Prince Enzo looked at the back of princess Artha who was still turning her back. There was a sense of pity and guilt from him to the girl.

Prince Enzo reached for something from behind his pillow. A small box that he prepared from a few days ago to give to princess Artha on her birthday.

"Sets..!"

Prince Enzo put a necklace decorated with sea blue sapphire on his pendant at the neck of princess Artha's level. Princess Artha was surprised and immediately felt her neck which had been decorated with a beautiful necklace. Princess Artha sat on her bed but turned her back to Prince Enzo.

"Happy birthday, Artha!" prince Enzo's.

Princess Artha's eyes began to glaze over, she then closed both hands to her face, sobs princess Artha began to sound.

Prince Enzo who was standing in front of Princess Artha immediately reached for the girl's body and put her in his arms.

" I'm sorry, Artha. I didn't come on time!" his murmured softly in the ears of princess Artha who still kept crying as much as she pleased.

"You evil Enzo! you made me wait for myself,hiks..!"said Princess Artha in the midst of her cries.

Prince Enzo stroked his wife's hair gently, he understood with the fury of princess Artha. She could imagine Artha's daughter being very confused in the middle of a party without her being her partner.

Gradually the cries of Princess Artha began to subside, now they were sitting side by side on the mattress.

"So now tell me, where have you been all this time? and why didn't you say goodbye to me before you left?" cerca princess Artha sulked a little.

"Hmm.alright. But I'll ask you first, are you still mad at me?" prince Enzo asked.

"I won't be angry again if you explain everything to me!" answered princess Artha.

Prince Enzo took a deep breath before finally starting to speak.

"Me and Uncle Valentine went to the town of Musty" said Prince Enzo.

" There was a group of foreigners suspected of trying to form an army to make money in the kingdom of Magna." prince Enzo recounted everything he and general Valentine found and saw during their several-day reconnaissance.

" God! has he?I didn't expect them to plan such an evil thing!" exclaim princess Artha does not believe.

"Unlike the quiet and peaceful kingdom of Pulchara, in the kingdom of Magna many parties want to occupy the highest position or influence in this kingdom. As you know the nobles of Magna are obsessed with their position and their possessions. Many of them are willing to do anything to get it.Even they are willing to kill or throw their own family for it."

" My mother the late empress Sabrina died when I was very young, I just got the story that my mother died because to save my life, I used to think I was the cause of my mother's death. That's what makes me a closed person and always blames myself. I once thought of handing over the crown prince's title to Adrian, because I felt it was inappropriate for that."

"But everything changed when I realized that all the stories I heard were not true. I accidentally found evidence that my mother died of poison. The poison did not work directly but gradually weakened my mother's body until she finally gave up." prince Enzo told her all with a sad look on his face.

" I'm sorry for your mother" said Princess Artha as she reached for Prince Enzo's hand, smiling little as he returned the hand of Princess Artha.

" But how do you know your mother died in poison?" ask princess Artha curiously.

" It seems that my mother had long since realized that her body was in poison, she knew that there were people who did not want me to be born as the heir to the throne of the Magna kingdom. But that made her more determined to bring me into this world. Therefore my mother could not take the antidote to the poison that was in her body perfectly. Before he died my mother had made important notes that she wrote in her diary and books were kept by her confidants as well as living witnesses of all the events that happened to her at that time, she was Felicia's aunt who accompanied my mother until the end of her life. But unfortunately aunt Felicia was taken out of the palace since my mother died and I just met her again accidentally when I was traveling in a village east of work,he came to me on purpose and handed me the book, at first I couldn't believe I and Uncle Valentine were finally looking for him and meeting him, that's where all the secrets were revealed" Prince Enzo said.

"Emm..After Enzo, does that mean in this palace that anyone wants your position replaced by someone else?" ask princess Artha.

"Yes, it seems so." replied Prince Enzo.

"Who do you think?is prime minister Markus?" ask again.

"Hmm. I think prime minister Markus has a lot of control over this, but I'm sure more people are involved."

"Then why didn't you and general Valentine just catch him?" said princess Artha innoc.

"Haha..!" prince Enzo's laughter exploded hearing Princess Artha's innocent statement earlier.

"It's not that easy Artha! even though I am a prince, it does not mean that I can just accuse and arrest someone without proof. Moreover, the man has a position and influence as great as the prime minister Markus." replied prince Enzo.

"Ooo! Does that mean you're looking for evidence of that now?" princess Artha said again.

Prince Enzo was anxious with his wife who looked very cute and funny when asking him so many questions. Princess Artha's round eyes did not blink looking at the curious prince Enzo with what had happened to the Magna kingdom.

"You're Artha, are you a bird?your questions are a lot to me. Don't you see that your husband is exhausted from coming home from a long journey" prince Enzo said, pinching the nose of princess Artha's nose in a fit of anxiety.

"aww.. Enzo stop! you'll make my nose ugly later!" princess Artha exclaimed as she tried to let go of Prince Enzo's hand.

"Sets..!"

Prince Enzo grabs the hand of princess Artha gently. The gazes of the two met, their eyes locked onto each other. For a moment the burning feeling of longing that they both felt during this time was again present in the hearts of the two.

Without any cue, Prince Enzo approached the face of princess Artha, as already understood the meaning of her husband princess Artha closed her eyes and happily received a sweet touch from the lips of her husband who had been longing for.

Both sweet kisses end up being demanding and exciting kisses.

"Enzo stop! I can barely breathe." exclaimed princess Artha as she let go of the hot kiss.

"I'm sorry Artha, but I can't help it anymore" prince Enzo said in a hoarse voice.

"Ma..you mean?" princess Artha asked what she could already guess the direction of her goal nervously. However, they have been married for a few months, but they only get to the stage of hugging and kissing. Princess Artha had expected this to come someday, but..

"Yes, I really want her, Artha. Can you?"
