Chapters. 21 First Trip

The next day princess Artha and prince Enzo prepared to depart for the kingdom of Spania, but before that they would stop by the western fortress to meet Prince Edmund. It took two days to get to Spania, they left early in the morning to get to the western fort in the afternoon and stay there.

Natalie and Robin, the personal bodyguards of Prince Enzo, take part in this journey as well as escorting several Magna kingdom soldiers.

"Don't forget to give my regards to your uncle Edmund, I wish he was always in good health." King Edward's message before they left.

"And also ask Adrian when he will return" added the Queen.

"All right, I'll tell you everything" said Prince Enzo.

"Ethem Enzo!" king Edward whispered something into the ear of Prince Enzo and suddenly the face of Prince Enzo turned red because of the words of the father.

"I've proven it!" king Edward said with a blink.

" What's up?" Princess Artha looked confused by what king Edward and prince Enzo were talking about, while Queen Elizabeth only smiled knots.

"Let's get Artha off" said Prince Enzo, who turned the talk over, and Prince Enzo reached out to help Princess Artha get into the carriage and boarded behind her.

King Edward and Queen Elizabeth waved their hands to accompany the newlyweds.

"What did you whisper to Enzo, my King?" ask Queen Elizabeth.

"Ah, it's just a trick to get a woman's heart, like I got yours my empress's heart" she said, smiling flirtatiously at her. Then they both chuckled together.

Prince Enzo and Princess Artha's journey begins.

"Did you travel a lot like this Enzo?" princess Artha asked her to break the silence between them.

"Of course, I sometimes visit other kingdoms representing my father" he replied.

"Isn't it exhausting and boring? " said princess Artha while imagining how bored she had been in the horse carriage for such a long time.

"You will never get bored if you can see many interesting things along the way" said Prince Enzo.

"Let's look over there!" prince Enzo pointed to the stream on the left side of the road, the river that flows through the hills of Hughes, on the edge of the trees with colorful leaves typical of autumn looks very beautiful,while some birds passed by looking for food on the clear river.

"Waaah..that's so beautiful!" exclaimed princess Artha while observing the natural beauty that lay before her. His eyes glistened at him.

Prince Enzo gave a small smile at princess Artha who looked like a child while observing the river.

Princess Artha nodded happily. They were already halfway through the trip when they stopped at the pearl lake that afternoon.

Pearl lake is a natural lake that stretches across the highlands in the western region of the kingdom of Magna, locals use it as a place of fishing and other purposes.

Princess Artha turned her face red as well as Prince Enzo, the atmosphere became a little awkward between the two of them.

"Yes, it's a shame." added Natalie agreed, both audiences were disappointed with the scene before them.

"Then, what do you like, Artha?" asked Prince Enzo to break the silence between them.

"Even in the past, Adrian used to accompany me to find medicinal ingredients in the white rose forest." added Princess Artha casually.

"Together Adrian?" prince Enzo was disturbed by the words of Princess Artha.

"O, that. I mean..!" princess Artha has just realized that she has been unlocking her secrets with Prince Adrian all along.

"Did you see Adrian often?" prince Enzo asked, looking intently at princess Artha, why she did not like it when princess Artha was close to prince Adrian.

"Adrian only accompanied me to find herbs and it had been a while since he had never seen me again" explained princess Artha a little nervous,he felt like he was caught stealing something because of the sharp gaze of Prince Enzo.

"It's fitting that Adrian used to sneak into the white rose forest, it turns out that he met Artha in Pulchara." thought Prince Enzo inwardly.

"But we're just friends, that's all!" suddenly princess Artha felt the need to explain all that to prince Enzo.

The two of them fell silent again, until Robie came and asked Prince Enzo and Princess Artha to return to the train, because their journey would be resumed soon.

The journey continued, prince Enzo looked at the sky that had been slightly reddened in the distance which signaled the day was already afternoon.

"Switch..!" the head of princess Artha who was asleep touched her shoulder.

Prince Enzo did not expect this situation, he fell silent motionless, he was afraid that he would wake the princess.

Moments later, Prince Enzo's shoulder began to feel numb.

"Geez, I'm numb! how'this?" murmured prince Enzo, he began to think of finding the right position so that the princess could stay asleep comfortably.

Princess Artha awoke from her sleep, she blinked her eyes trying to recall her current existence.

"O, yes, I was in the horse-drawn carriage" he thought.

"It turns out I was asleep.The cushion on this train is quite comfortable, I can even fall asleep very soundly." he thought again while rubbing the headboard that he thought the pillow was.

"Gosh what is this?" princess Artha said as she realized the pedestal was not a pillow, it would be a pair of legs.

Princess Artha turned towards the top, she was very surprised when she found the handsome face of prince Enzo with her eyes closed, she immediately woke up from her position when she realized that she was sleeping on the lap of the prince.

"Gosh, what are you doing, Artha!" murmured princess Artha with a face that was already red with embarrassment.

"Have you slept well, Artha?" prince Enzo opened his eyes.

Princess Artha became misbehaved, she looked down unable to look at the prince's face.

"I.iya" she answered briefly.

"I'm sorry! I accidentally slept on your lap." she said shyly.

Prince Enzo tried to refrain from pouncing on the girl next to him.

"Oh, god! she's so adorable when she's shy like this!" the inner prince Enzo, although his legs felt numb from holding the head of princess Artha since earlier, but he felt very happy because he could be satisfied to look at the beautiful face of the princess who was asleep on his lap.

It was getting dark when they arrived at the western fortress, prince Enzo and princess Artha and her bodyguards immediately came down and singah at the place where the prince Edmund Magna lived.
