Chapters. 10 Wedding news

Prince Enzo stared intently at the garden from behind the window of the palace library. His gaze looks cold.

"Prince Enzo!" the voice of a woman's call made Prince Enzo turn his head.

A beautiful girl in her delpanteen years, dressed beautifully with a laughable lace on her neck to her chest was seen smiling sweetly towards the prince.

Prince Enzo turned his eyes away from the girl.

Martha Markus Clark was the daughter of Markus Clark, the prime minister of the kingdom of Magna, as well as a half-cousin of Prince Enzo. Queen Elizabeth, the stepmother of Prince Enzo, was the younger sister of prime minister Markus .

"I came here to bring you snacks and tea" Martha said with a sweet smile.

"Thank you Martha, but I don't want to eat a snack right now" replied the cold Prince Enzo.

Prince Enzo was not very fond of Martha's presence, because the girl always followed wherever Prince Enzo was. Even further, Martha looks like to tease Prince Enzo with smiles and facial expressions made - or clothes that are deliberately made open or bright when nearby.

"Hahaha.you like to joke Enzo, since when do you not like snacks" he said with a small laugh.

Martha followed the prince, she immediately sat sweetly in the chair right in front of the prince.

"What are you reading, Prince Enzo?" he looked at the prince's face.

Prince Enzo wrote the book so that Martha could read the title on the cover.

"The history of the three mainland kings of Clausia." read Martha.

"Is the book interesting?" she asked again, now Martha propped up her chin with her right hand resting on the table.

"Of course" replied Prince Enzo briefly.

"Can you tell me, what's in the book?I want to know." she said again this time with a little spoiled.

This time Prince Enzo dropped his book and looked towards Martha.

Martha was so happy that finally Prince Enzo noticed her, he smiled sweetly at the prince.

"Break...!"

Library doors opened.

General Valentine came into the room.

"Sorry to disturb your Prince Enzo in King Edward's waiting room" he said.

"Alright uncle. Thank you." replied Prince Enzo, he immediately stood up.

"Your..!"

"Please read it yourself. It seems you are very interested in this book." said Prince Enzo, putting the book he read on the table, then immediately passed out of the room followed by general Valentine.

"Aaaakh...!!"

Shouted Martha while hitting the table in front of her in annoyance.

"I'll never let go of Enzo!!" furious, then he passed out of the room with a pouting face.

"Be careful, I'll bring you to my knees!" muttered as he walked through the halls of the palace, he was about to complain to his father about what had happened to him.

In the same place, princess Artha and lady-in-waiting Natalie were heading to the private room of King Edward and Queen Elizabeth, they happened to cross paths with Martha in the hallway.

Princess Artha glanced at Martha but Martha put on a displeased face and turned her face as it continued to pass.

"Who's Natalie's girl?" whispered princess Artha.

"She's Miss Martha, daughter of prime minister Markus" replied Natalie.

"Why does he seem to hate me? or does everyone in this palace hate me?" thought princess Artha

In the private room of King Edward and Queen Elizabeth.

"Because everyone's gathered, let's just get started!" king Edward.

"After seeing the improved state of Princess Artha, I think there is no reason for us to postpone the wedding between prince Enzo and princess Artha" said King Edward.

"The sooner we do it will be better of course" he said again.

"Hmm.so what do you think, Markus?" ask king Edward.

"We'd better postpone the wedding between prince Enzo and princess Artha until spring next year, spring is the perfect time for the wedding" she said convincingly.

"Isn't that too long?" king Edward said, rubbing his beard.

"What do you think, Valentine?"

"From what I know as well as the income of the elders, autumn and winter are not the right time to have a wedding, your majesty" said general Valentine.

Prime Minister Markus was pleased to hear the words of general Valentine, he felt they both had the same opinion.

"Haha...!mark, let's get their wedding done next week!" he said while laughing happily.

"Valentine, call Prince Enzo and princess Artha here, I will deliver this happy news to them." he ordered General Valentine.

"Oh, your majesty!" general Valentine bowed and soon passed from the room.

Shortly thereafter,

"Please enter princess Artha you've been waiting inside

" the head of the royal household said to princess Artha.

Princess Artha enters the room while Natalie waits outside.

King Edward, Queen Elizabeth's consort, general Valentine, minister Mark and prince Enzo were waiting for him in the room.

"Welcome, princess Artha, please sit down." said King Edward.

Princess Artha saluted and took her seat next to Prince Enzo as she turned to Prince Enzo, but Prince Enzo did not look at her.

"Enzo my son and you're Artha's daughter, I deliberately invited the two of you here to deliver the happy news" King Edward said with a beaming face.

"We're going to have your marriage together next week" he said.

Prince Enzo kept a flat face, while princess Artha was a little surprised but she tried to remain calm.

"Are you happy to hear of princess Artha?" king Edward's eyes looked at Princess Artha with a smile.

In the heart of the king, he was very happy and happy because his son Prince Enzo would finally marry his best friend's daughter King Alfredo.

"Of course, your majesty." princess Artha tried to smile, even though her heart was crying.

At the home of prime minister Markus, Martha is seen coming to the father with a face full of tears.

"Dad, why would my prince Enzo marry that ugly woman's father?hyks!" whining.

"Didn't you promise to make me empress of the kingdom of Magna!?hiks.hiks!" the whining gets louder.

"Silent Martha! you don't think you're dizzy thinking about it, huh!?" his yell.

Martha was surprised to hear the father's cry, she wiped the tears with her hands, she did not expect her father would be so angry.

Seeing the princess shrink, prime minister Markus approached and the princess and stroked her hair.

"Pardon Martha's father, father promised to make you empress of the kingdom of Magna no matter what!" he said with a terrible grin on his pale face.
