Chapter 36 The secrets of the city of Musty

"Ah, it turns out that he has fallen asleep." she said with a smile.

Prince Enzo looked gently at the face of princess Artha who was sleeping. The long and tiring journey he had just passed seemed to be treated by staring at the face of the woman who had stolen his heart up close.

"I miss you so much." murmured prince Enzo slowly, slowly but surely the taste that used to be in his heart was now growing and cracking.

Like an overflowing flood, a deep feeling of longing in the recesses of his heart felt like it was bursting. It was that feeling that almost made his mission and general Valentine almost failed because of Prince Enzo who lost concentration on what he was supposed to do.

Flashbacks

"Your majesty, we can't just leave this mission without success" general Valentine said that night,for almost three days they have been scouting activities carried out by people they suspect in the border of the kingdom of Magna, but there is also no evidence they have found.

Previously general Valentine and prince Enzo got information from one of the scout soldiers disguised as ordinary people at the border that there were a group of people who often went back and forth from the territory of the kingdom of Magna to the outside of the region other kingdoms. They seem to be well-trained people. The more days their numbers are more and more, it makes suspicion that these people are making plans for betrayal of the kingdom of Magna.

To prove it, general Valentine and prince Enzo accidentally came alone and staked out the activities of these people in the border region.

"But uncle, we've been waiting here for three days and there's not a single movement that we've found" prince Enzo said.

Prince Enzo discussed his plans to general Valentine to end their reconnaissance immediately, as he did not see any results.

"I don't think the scout soldier would dare to lie about a matter of this magnitude, Your Majesty." said general Valentine, he was very sure what the scout soldier reported must be true. Because the soldier already knows the consequences if he lies then his life is at stake.

"Hhhh..!"

Prince Enzo breathed heavily, though,

he could not reason anything else to General Valentine, because what was said by general Valentine was very reasonable.

"We'll wait until tomorrow, but if we don't find any results tomorrow afternoon, then this mission will be canceled soon" said Prince Enzo firmly.

General Valentine agreed. Actually general Valentine knew very well the main reason prince Enzo wanted to end this mission and immediately return to the royal palace of Magna is because two more days is the birthday of his wife princess Artha. But general Valentine could not do anything, however this mission was very important and was directly related to the safety of the Magna kingdom.

"Ah, uncle, how about we go undercover and look for information in the crowd?" prince Enzo's proposal suddenly.

General Valentine thought for a moment,

"What does it mean to look for information in the market?" general Valentine said.

"Just right uncle. Do you not know, the market is a place where many people meet, there people will talk about many things including rumors circulating around them" said the prince Enzo sure.

"Well then, your highness, let's get ready - be ready" said general Valentine as he hurriedly prepared everything for them.

At the market, both Prince Enzo and general Valentine were wearing ordinary clothes like a farmer who wanted to buy their needs. The two of them walked around while paying attention to the people around him.

"Well, this meaty bread is delicious!" exclaimed a man who was biting a piece of sandwich.

"Yes, the bakery is very famous. There are so many people waiting in line to get it." said the man's friend.

The two men's conversation was heard by the ears of prince Enzo and general Valentine passing by. They could see not far from there a bakery in front of which there was a queue of many customers.

"Even I heard that large-bodied foreign workers also often buy sandwiches for their friends there. They buy so much that we often run out and don't get the bread" the man continued.

"Sets..!"

"Ehmm.sorry sir, can I ask for a moment?" ask general Valentine.

The two men turned their heads towards general Valentine, they watched him for a moment and said.

"What's wrong?" one of them said with a little suspicion.

"My son loved meat loaves so much, I really wanted to buy them to take home" general Valentine said.

"You can buy it there!" point one of them at the bakery.

"Ah, I've been to the store earlier, but said the owner of the bread is up" said general Valentine reasoned.

The two of them noticed there were still many people queuing in front of the store, but why was the bread already exhausted.

"I mean, the protection is only left for those who have ordered first. It seems like someone ordered in large quantities" general Valentine said, acting as if he was upset.

"You're right, sir, those foreign workers must have ordered it. They always order a lot of sandwiches." said the man.

"O, really?who are they then?why was that foreign job in the city of Musty ?" ask general Valentine.

"They are people from the kingdom of Tartan, they enter through the border. We also do not know the reason why they are in this city, maybe they are working with the Magna royal palace" he said.

"Is that so?" general Valentine responded by pretending to understand.

"E, sir, did you want meat sandwich for your son? I still have two I haven't eaten, do you want to buy the rest of my sandwich for your son?" ask a man while showing a package containing two meat loaves that he has not eaten.

"Oh, well I'll buy him sir, thank you" said general Valentine, exchanging some money for two loaves of bread for the man.

After his general Valentine told everything the two men had said to Prince Enzo.

"Is that so uncle!?" prince Enzo's.

"Yes, prince. They also said that the foreigners were big and strong, likely they were people trained to fight or fight" general Valentine said.

"Do we need to ask the owner of the sandwich shop where they delivered the bread?" prince Enzo gave a suggestion.

"It doesn't seem necessary, your majesty, try to look to the right!" valentine's general said, prince Enzo turned to the direction appointed by general Valentine with heart. He saw that three large strangers were carrying a basket of sandwiches they ordered.

"Let's follow them!" prince Enzo whispered, followed by a nod from general Valentine.

The two of them immediately moved to follow the foreign men carefully. While settling down - the deposits both follow where they are headed, until they arrive at a former wine cellar at an old winery north of the town of Musty .

The three men were seen observing the location closely before entering the wine cellar. Prince Enzo and general Valentine rushed to the back of the barn and hid there. Prince Enzo and general Valentine were very surprised to see what was inside the wine cellar through the gap under the shabby window.

Dozens could it be that hundreds of big, burly men were gathering and sitting seriously listening to someone who was talking in the middle of the huge warehouse. And the eyes of prince Enzo and general Valentine were even more wide-eyed when they saw who was giving instructions to the men.

"Are my eyes not wrong to see Uncle Valentine!" prince Enzo whispered to general Valentine who was next to him.

" Not your majesty, what you see is not wrong." whispered general Valentine in a trembling voice.
